When criminal defense attorney Tex Hunter's older brother is arrested for murder, the story captures the attention of the national media. Battling against a corrupt system in Chicago, Hunter struggles to find the truth.
Can Hunter expose the facts in court? Or will his pursuit of justice cost him everything?
Final Justice can be read as a standalone novel or part of the heart-pounding Tex Hunter Legal Thriller series.
hate the law that doesn’t recognize reasonable doubt
I dislike the prosecution. They are always unfair. Instead of innocent until proven guilty, it’s the opposite. Guilty until someone confesses to the crime.
This book seriously needed major editing. It was so bad that it took away from an actually good story. 94% into the book, the villain’s name was mixed up with a good police officer and it became so confusing as one couldn’t tell who had actually committed the kidnapping. Seriously, this needs to be corrected! Hire a decent proofreader or editor. That said, I liked the main character and enjoyed the story. I hope the author’s next book will continue his saga and that it will not be tainted by poor editing. I would also have liked to learn of sanctions against the prosecutor in this particular storyline. It was completely absent.
My heart beat painfully. Tex, no not Tex! The twist and turns of this final tale. The Hunter family name on the line for the last time! Truth prevails with gratitude! How amazing old family ties are renewed and the next generation begins. Book 10. I could have read more! Perhaps in the future. I’ll be watching for Tex and Esther again! Love overcomes All!
After binge reading all of the Tex books, I was hesitant to read what I think is the last one. It appeared to me that all the questions and suspense that had been introduced and followed in the previous books had been answered and this book could only have been an afterthought. But it turned out that it was Tex’s most personal challenge. The ending was unexpected. Mr O’Mahoney is at the top of the author’s I follow and read! Great job!
A great story. Once again Tex is defending an innocent person. But this time it's his brother Patrick. My biggest problem with this series is the fact that they haven't stopped misleading us about the length of each book by beginning each chapter with a blank page, with only the chapter number on it. This time that means 56 blank pages. It just annoys me.
This is by far the best series I’ve read hands down. Peter O’Malloy you need to write more. I know that’s easy for me to say but this book was the perfect ending to your series about Tex Hunter. If there are more I will be reading them also. Thank you for a truly well written book.
I really liked this book as I do all of Peter O"Mahoney books. The only comment I have is that in the beginning of Chapter 35 it is written that this was the third day of trial and then beginning Chapter 36 it is written that this is the third day of the trial. Other than that I love the book. Keep writing Peter.
This book paints Chicago as a city full of corrupt officials ,although in truth there is bad apples everywhere. I was glad that officer Low didn't lose his job,and Patrick was cleared. And finally Tex has found happiness, I enjoyed this series by Mr O'Mahoney will look for his next good read.
Peter O’Mahoney’s books are all interesting and fun reading, while often gripping with suspense, but this is definitely a home run. It’s not just “another case” but one that hits home for Tex Hunter and the story keeps the reader engaged throughout the book.
I’m shedding a tear, because I know this is the end of the Tex Hunter series. Maybe Peter will surprise me and continue. Loved the series and loved how the ending did finish, but I was worried for a couple of pages. Have already read his other series…. Love Peter O”Mahoney. Keep sending us awesome novels.
I've enjoyed every book in this series from the start. I love the humor and banter between the characters. Sadly, this one was a bit confusing near the end as some of the character's names were misplaced. But, it is still a great story and a fun read.
What a remarkable person this character is and what a miserable life he's had to lead. Thank God sometimes good things happen to good people. A feel good ending but a very trying book to get through. But for Gods grace go us.
O'Mahoney never fails to please. This novel is one of his best with lots of "suffering" followed by eventual victory, as life should be! If you're a fan of this genre, this book is for you.
I enjoyed the suspense and investigation that was shown in this book The story was told well and the final scene was very sweet. Good read for law scene buffs.
I like the whole Tex Hunter series. He seems to get in and out of trouble with no problem. There is nothing about the books I dislike. I feel lost when I’m done reading them, I need to know more of what is happening with the Hunter family.
I love the Tax Hunter storied Hope there is more to come . I would recommend this series to anyone looking for a great read. Thank you for sharing your stories with us.
Full of intrigue and drama and complications. The details of the characters in a murder trial are what keeps it interesting page after page. An unexpected ending that hopefully will carry into book 11.
This was one of the best. I couldn't get enough, so glad, it turned out that way. Tex, and Ester, and baby on the way. Thank You for the experience of ready this series.
