Still Waters Flow Deep: 18 Years Later

Rate this book
Today is the 4th of July 2018, and Chris anxiously awaits the enjoyable time he planned to spend with his family. The park in downtown Washington D.C. was the perfect place to celebrate. Ever since he’d created the security company Sentinel in 2013 it was immediately contracted out to the FBI, thus, families from both organizations would spend the day together. When large explosions begin going off at thirty-minute intervals in the capital cities of east coast states, Chris quickly understands they are not part of the planned 4th of July festivities. His anticipated day with his family abruptly ends when the FBI Director shows up at his office. Sentinel and FBI agents begin to comb the east coast looking for clues as to what’s happening. It’s then that Chris receives a cell phone call. He stands there motionless as the man on the other end speaks. A chill suddenly runs down his spine. It can’t be. It’s impossible. What he thought was past history has just become the here and now. How will it end?
