My thoughts: 🔖Page 27 of 320 Chapter 3 How much should you save - This book is too much information, too soon, and not well organized I'm just going to have to start over. I still don't get FISH. 📗 I'm starting over now and my issue with FISH is it's just not an acronym or acrostic but he's trying to make it into one. 🔖49 Level 3 Planning For Short-Term Money Goals - I skipped the lists of figures and tables this time, information overload. The chapters are short some of the information is only a paragraph, but it's good. Unfortunately, the tables are hard to read and since I'm not reading this on Kindle they don't expand.
So this book just wasn't for me. It focuses more on investing than budgets and retirement and because it's based in India I didn't catch most of what was thrown at me. I still don't understand half of his acronyms or debt funds nor do I care to. I already use a form of the FISH system, we have a second checking account for spending, but I can do FI is for Fixed Expenses, it's just odd to my brain and it refuses to accept it. Overall this book was specific and overly detailed in some areas and skimpy in others. I think the book would work for some but not most.
Recommend to others: Maybe, this book is currently hot in the military community so it must have desirable information.

So let's of data essential history's numbers to convince you give you reality of how world of Investments works. They may not sound pompous or big claims, but they are the one that works.
Frankly 20 years in Industry it took that long and still figuring, I could have never written it so crisply.
While it's months of effort writing this book, it's decades and wisdom put in aa step by step guide.

Arun Kumar has written a great book covering all the basics one needs for personal finance management. The book will be particularly liked by those who want to do rule-based investing. He has given multiple thumb rules for all common scenarios which an investor can encounter in his financial journey.
Good basics and clarity of thought to people early in their professional journey. Has a lot of frameworks which are difficult to apply in silos and by own self.
