There’s nothing like a speedboat gunfight to shake up a peaceful morning. A promise is a promise, after all. Besides, if they’re tagged as witnesses, they’ll be targets for whoever wanted the occupants of that boat dead. So they ping their network of insiders and sit back, blissful in their mistaken impression that they’ve given trouble the slip. But trouble has a long reach. The bombed-out boat is only the first clue a new crime boss is trying to muscle into Tarpon Cove. And a face from Fab’s former life-on-the-edge is back, wanting to pick up where they left off. Giving this creeper the cold shoulder won’t stop the inevitable. And the path of destruction could include the entire town.

Fresh and Exciting Episode!
This is the 30th episode in a wonderful series! I would never have thought that I could enjoy any series this long. But, I am loving it! We follow these two best friends through some outrageous adventures in South Florida. Through the series they mature as people, developing relationships with all sorts of folks, enlarging their families and just living their lives. How that develops is important to the storyline and makes it a good idea to read the books in order. Each book is its own set of mysteries. The issues are generally intertwined a bit and all are solved within that episode. But, the people who are involved can carry on and be part of the greater story arc and that makes it a good idea to read the stories in order. There are several characters who initially were thought to have really shady backgrounds and they became part of the greater family and have turned out to be just a bit shady. Thirty episodes cover a lot of ground, but each is fresh, exciting, and unpredictable. Like your favorite television program, you become vested in the story and enjoy living in it for that hour week after week, year after year. I am ready to continue reading this series for a few more years, at least!

Fantastic series!
Love this series. It delivers on every level adventure, action, suspense, romance, and humor. The characters are unique. Appreciate the way Ms. Brown incorporates her characters in each storyline. Even the supporting characters are mentioned regularly. Personally I like that. The only character we haven't heard from in awhile is Liam (Brad's "adopted" son). His total absence surprises me. He was such a well integrated member of the family his abrupt departure with no further mention was a bit jarring. The series is additive. A well plotted read. The adventures as well as the challenges this crew face draw you in til the last word leaving you inpatient for the next adventure.

I’ve read all of the books (30). I love them. The characters in the series are all such great friends. I also feel like I know them. The story just flows for each episode. You don’t even realize you’re reading but when the end is near it’s very disappointing because you know you have to wait for another book to come out. And you end up hoping there will be another. I hope that that they keep on coming. I’ll be waiting patiently. So I would definitely recommend all of these stories. Also what’s interesting is how the stories & characters evoke from book #1 to book # 30, but never boring so read them & find your new best friends!

Here’s to Friendship
Madison and Fab come across a couple cases for Fab’s PI business. One is a kidnapping and the other is a stolen body. But then someone from Fab’s past shows up in town and causes problems for the friends. What leads up to the end will have you glued to the edge of your seat and reading nonstop til the end. I have really enjoyed this series and the development of the characters. Madison, Fab, Creole and Didier are the the best kind of friends and ultimate heroes.

Laughs, chuckles, suspense and great friends are rolled into this story
The gang is back with a great story to tell. These characters will have you laughing and rolling your eyes with some of the things they get up to. They will also show how much friends and family mean to them. So if you are looking for a book to cozy up with. Pick this one. Another great story by Deborah Brown. Can't wait for the next one.

Best one yet
Loved this book. Loved the interaction between Creole and Madison. Love the friendship these two couples share. Love the sense of family and the support system they have around them. This is truly one of my favorite series. Its so comfortable to pick up a new book and immediately fall back into step with this wild cast of characters. I can't wait for the next book and I'm always sad to get to the end of the one I an reading.

Madeline & Fab Never Disappoint

This one book out of the series is one that I enjoyed. I look forward to the antics of Madison and Fab as they become embroiled in another series of body counts and antics at Madison's hotel. Impossible situations add levity to murder investigations. What a wonderful set of characters. I look forward to the next episode in their lives.

It was good but dragged a little in the middle of the book. All the usual characters and humor that you have come to expect. The ending was fantastic. I would love to see Creole’s twin make a comeback. A lot to work with there.

I couldn't read past the 3rd chapter
AGAIN get some new synonyms! As is not the only conjunction available. Do a word search/count for "as" when editing, as what used to be mindless reading has now become a huge headache.

And I cannot wait for #31, I think that they will become old or worse ridiculously unbelievable but you never make that happen! I only wish I could have the next 20 as fast as the first 20!

Best yet
I love this series. It's a great bunch of characters. The story holds you bringing to the end. Sadly, Ms. Brown can't write them faster, but I'm sure they wouldn't be as good if she did. Thank you for an excellent series.

I love this series! It just has it all……mystery, lots of action, a great cast of characters, humor and let’s not forget the romance. It was so much fun to read. I highly recommend this book and this series.

Sharks - Everywhere!
I thoroughly enjoyed this installment and sincerely hope it is not the last. It must be hard to keep coming up with story lines and plot twists, but I haven't been disappointed yet! I highly recommend

Fabtastic
Madison and Fab never fail to entertain and such bad asses. At least there has been a tiny bit of mellowing by the Hubs, as though they know nothing they say or do is going to stop those two women. Looking forward to see what those girls do next.

This story has Madison and Fab juggling multiple cases with nonstop action and the usual humor. I hated having to put it down. I recommend this book.
