Things come to a conclusion in this installment. Gavril, warrior vampire and one that has premonitions for a long time as a Sentinel, earns his best friend, Frederick’s forgiveness finally for how he treated his love, Cait, in the last book. The Sentinels are trying to stop Nicholas who is in the Veil, and his cohorts from enlarging the Veil and killing and stealing the powers of more vampires. This book evokes a lot of emotions- 1. I’m only starting to forgive Gavril from what he did in the last book because he didn’t understand love. 2. We get to see Chiara, another vampire whose power is mindblowing and magical, really come into her own. 3. Chiara gets a love interest in this book. 4. This book has some awesome fight scenes. 5. I fell in love with all of the characters again from the previous books and it doesn’t include the bad guys! 6. I’m sad that in concluded the storyline. 7. I want more books about what happens afterwards. 8. I felt a little sick a few times with worry over the characters. 9. Gavril was hot in this book. Not that he wasn’t in the others, but he was more approachable in this book. I really like this author’s works that I have read so far and can’t wait to read what comes next.

Veiled Yearning' is the final book in the Tenebris Desire series and, WOW, was it exciting! Gavril is one of the Sentinels (introduced earlier in the series) who is a centuries old vampire and is devoid, in his opinion, of emotions. The Sentinels' goal is to destroy the Custodians and their leader Nicholas whose goal is to steal and absorb the powers of the vampires.

Chiara has very special and unusual powers and she makes protective talisman for the Sentinels, as well as imbues their weapons with specific powers. Because of her abilities, evil Nicholas wants her so he can absorb her powers. Gavril visits her to ask for her help and, because she suffered so much when she was in captivity, she doesn't want to help. Over time, he convinced her, and this is when the story gets really gripping.

It's a fantastic story of bravery, love, and redemption. Cobie weaves a spellbinding tale that is impossible to put down.

Veiled Yearning is the 5th and final book in the Tenebris Desire series by Gia Cobie. I read this book first and had to go back to read books 1-4. This book could not have been any better. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would. This story is a book of opposites, good and evil, black and white, happiness and sadness, and love and hate. The author has written the best ending I think I have read lately. The storyline is enticing and you cannot put the book down. Character development is impeccable and you will delight in all of the couples and their battle towards happiness. I highly recommend reading these books in order because it enhances the story tenfold. The strength of the women in this series will amaze you and bring you all the feels you could ever want from a romance. My heart was in my throat many time throughout the book and I feel that all aspects of the storyline were brought to an epic culmination. I highly recommend this book and author.

Veiled Yearning is the fifth and final book in the Tenebris Desire series. This paranormal romance novel follows a brooding alpha vampire, a wounded but brave heroine, action, danger, sweet moments, and some steam and HEA. This was an extremely fun, page-turning, emotion-charged and engrossing book. Fast-paced from the start, moves quickly with intriguing plot and mystery that will have reader invested in characters and storyline.

A grumpy fearless vampire who secretly yearns for love, Gavril and, a strong protector Chiara are perfectly magically imperfect. Their build-up was perfectly written. Seeing them thriving and healing together by accepting love is beautiful.

This was the perfect ending and an incredible journey of love, drama and suspense.

Gavrill and the team need Chiara in the final battle coming. She is hiding with good reason but how to change her mind. He never imaging when he went on this journey he would find his one and only. Neither ever imagined this journey would end with them fighting together. Will their combined abilities be enough to finally end the evil coming.

This is a great story of healing and finding ways to overcome trauma when your friends need you more than anything. It was a great way to end this series. I really enjoyed all of the stories. If you haven’t read anything with Gia yet this is a great place to start.

Emotional ending to the series…

I couldn’t wait to dive into Chiara and Gavril’s story! Not only was this the final instalment to the series but I needed to read their story – and it was soo good…

This series was a slow build/burn for me, all leading up to this powerhouse of an ending. Chiara was a wounded character but Gavril was there to ensure she felt as safe as possible as she did what she knew she had to. They both were protectors and that meant they were there for each other as well as their close-knit friends.

I’ve come to expect good writing and great characters from this author and the series delivered both. Can’t wait to see what’s next!

Chiara and Gavril’s story is the fifth and final book in the series. The Sentinels are ready to end the Custodians reign of terror but they need Chiara's help. Gavril is the one tasked to convince Chiara to help them end Nicolas. Chiara has been hurt badly by Nicolas' followers and has been hiding out in fear. Gavril has dedicated his life to the sentinels and their mission. He can be rather single minded in this quest but with Chiara he's different, what he feels for her is different. I haven't been interested in vampire books for a while now, feeling they have been kinda played out for the most part but the plot for this series sounded intriguing. This was worth the read. This series has been an incredible journey full of love , drama and has just the right amount of suspense and action.

I recommend you read these for sure!

who knew

Who would have thought a grumpy fearless vampire secretly yearns for love? I just loved how Gavril was brought to his knees by his reaction to Chiara - a strong protector meeting his perfect match and willing to do anything to keep her safe and happy works for me any time.
