The EFT Manual

Rate this book
Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) is one of the most popular psychology self-help methods, used by over 10 million people worldwide. EFT uses the body's natural stress-reduction points to produce lasting change. Tapping on these points according to the easy-to-follow EFT "basic recipe" has been demonstrated to rapidly reduce anxiety, depression, phobias, and other conditions. In this authoritative manual, based on over 20 clinical trials, health researcher Dawson Church guides you through the basic steps of this scientifically proven method, called Clinical EFT. He shows you how to identify the emotional roots of physical and psychological problems, and how to craft a combination of words and tapping that triggers a healing response. He then demonstrates the one-minute routine that is the basis of Clinical EFT, and shos you how to apply it to a variety of common conditions, including pain, fears, addictions and cravings, weight issues, insomnia, and guilt.

Still working on this book. It explains the science behind Emotional Freedom Techniques (tapping) and how to do it for yourself without a guide or expert. But the book is an expert guide. Easy to follow and do for oneself. It illustrates and elaborates how to use it for losing weight, dealing with stress or PTSD, and pain. By the end of Chapter 3, you can be doing tapping on yourself. I tried it for a special problem recently and let go of a time I was hurt and angry. Very helpful. Over time and with more reading I believe I will it more useful, based on how easy it is to read and understand. Great examples throughout.

This is the book to go to if you want to learn tapping throughly. Easy to understand and everything is explained step by step. This is the book I’d recommend to someone who has never heard about EFT and wants to know everything about it. Wonderful book. I’ve enjoyed it and I’ve applied everything taught in it. It works wonders.
I like to call this book “The tapping bible.”

Astounding piece of work

Dr. Church is a hero, I’ve been aware of EFT for a while but couldn’t get it to work for me. However this astounding book taught me how to apply it correctly in so many ways it’s made a massive difference to my daily life with a weight lifted that’s been there for years.
