He was Dean Emeritus of the School of Education at Bernard M. Baruch College/CUNY and President Emeritus of Western Oregon University.

although this is just a collection of articles put together for a book. it was very insightful on the world back then. there is even a “further inquiry” section after each chapter for you to engage in the reading which i enjoyed it brought about some questions i should explore within myself as a consumer of narcotics.
