Rate this book
As soon as Decoy arrives on Earth, nothing is what it seems
anymore for rookie cop Bobby Luck. Is he dead: Is he alive? Why is everyone
shooting at him? And when did he fall behind in the strength portion of the
battle of the sexes?

There are nothing but questions for Luck until a little, green, shape
shifting alien appears- and changes his life forever. Now, with the help of
Decoy, he can rid the world of crime!!!

There s just on e person standing in Luck s way-Nabob. He has other
plans-taking over the world! While Nabob doesn t have the help of a little,
green alien, he does have friends. His cronies are a scientist with weird
hair, a Rambo wannabe, and a homicidal, gas-mask wearing freak.

Now Luck and Decoy must depend on each other for survival, and along with
Luck s senior partner, Tessa Moreno, they must stop Nabob from taking over
the city. If they don t, and innocent young girl will die and the city will
be lost.

Sounds easy enough, but they must keep Decoy a secret. Who knows who else
would be after Luck if they knew he was harboring an alien? The FBI, the
CIA, SETI, Sci-Fi junkies...

Decoy is an alien left behind by his fellow aliens after he botches a mission. He attaches himself to a rookie police officer named Luck, and the two become a good team, though they don’t completely stop the bad guys. Luck’s partner, Moreno hates having to work with him (she wants to be a detective), but she doesn’t have much choice, and finds there is more to Luck than meets the eye, though she never sees Decoy. The storyline is a bit stilted, and the characters are confusing in the first half of the book, but the idea of a human getting an alien partner that can protect him from almost anything is a neat idea. The drawings are all
in color, and most of the panels are easy to read/follow. Moreno is very busty (this bothered me), but is quite the heroine and strong female character. Overall, I was not impressed with these comics, but will add this to my YA area.
