Bellonna was wrongfully accused as a witch and unalived by her best friend. In her final moments, she calls out to Lilith and trades her soul for the power to avenge. Three hundred years go by, and Bellonna becomes the legend of Bloody Mary, helping the wronged and weak. When she appears to a summoner, she is captivated by the unicorn shifter. Though she agrees to help him, her k!ll is thwarted by a vampire MC. Haunting two vamps who saved her unicorn, Bellonna is amused by their attempts to protect the man she has claimed. When she takes her unicorn to Hell, he returns her claim. Bloody Mary is summoned once more, though this time she will get to enact her final revenge against the descendants of her own unalivers. Who better to have at her sides than the psycho vampire who revels in her blood and his brother, who is losing his fight against the ache to claim both Bellonna and her unicorn?

It was messy, it was bloody, and the spice was spicing! Bellonna is a totally baddie, from her attitude to her appearances. Varys, Blackwell, and Warrick weren't afraid to jump headfirst into her battle at her side. I loved the different dynamics between each of the characters. Bellonna also knew how to appeal to the desires of each of her men, which makes everything just a little more fun. I didn't consider Bloody Mary as a legend, but this retelling was imaginative and fun.

I don't even know where I start...
It's the first time reading from this authors and wow,I was swept away into this amazing story and couldn't put the book down.
There is lore ,myth, paranormal, action, and good steam  scenes.
Belonna is  a absolute badass, not a woman you want to mess with.
Then, the authors throw twist and turns to leave you on the edge, a unicorn kidnapping,a  vampire claim and so much more.
This book is a page turning, mind blowing,  action packed book. There are some elements that may be triggers for some readers,so check the TW.

What did i just read always comes to mind when the dynamic duo create masterpieces. And just like all the rest, they didn't disappoint! Bellonna is probably my favorite Fmc she's not only a bad bisshhh but also funny and creative! And Blackwell, ugh, I just love him! I love Warrwick and Vary's also but something about Blackwell. In this you get all the spice and comedy as well as the gore! It's a triple threat and a 5star read for me! Also my favorite new word has come from this ....if you're looking for vampires, meets, shifter meets urban legends. Look no further

This was an interesting book for me as I usually don’t read vampire/paranormal books. I loved the concept of a few different mythical characters coming together. Absolutely loved Bloody Mary. Definitely nothing like the wrath of a woman scorned. Interested to see where this story will lead.

Well with these two authors can never be a dull moment. A retelling of Bloody Mary which is a first for me. But man these characters are so good and I was held captive the whole time.

Dark, depraved, and gory. 4 different beings find themselves together in an unexpected and unlikely way. They discover they have a mutual enemy, which only helps to bind them further together. Lots of spice, and their own special happily ever after. Loved it!

The myth of her is real.

Everyone thought that they killed her. They thought that they bound her in the flames, having left her for dead. But, they were wrong. They didn't kill her. All they did was make her immortal. No one can destroy me now.

Now, I am the thing of legend. They say you can whisper my name in a mirror three times, Bellonna, Bellonna, Bellonna, and I'll appear, rising once again. The deadly beauty, a fire in her heart, and most important of all, she's bound by vengeance. She's the spirit that no one ever saw coming. And she's the one that comes to make them all pay the final price.

Fate now draws her ever closer to the Crimson Brotherhood – the MC of vampires – now secrets are unraveling as fate continues to play a fickle game. The marks that the Brotherhood left on her, they are igniting a fire that no one can ever extinguish.

This is where passion will collide with revenge. She's going to have to choose what's important to her. Will she fulfill her deadly duty, or is she going to risk everything to protect the ones who are there to help her and who could help her and could save her?

This isn't your typical story. This is a story of blood and fire and love and hate.

Are you ready to step into the darkness with her?

"She is an enigma, a nightmare wearing the face of a goddess."

Stunning, amazing, just... wow. The job that Cassie Lein and Bre Rose did on writing this book, it's just spectacular. I don't know anyone who isn't in love with the old folklore of vampires, a certain queen of h*ll who would make an appearance, and of course, you have to have a unicorn. What's a folklore without a unicorn?

Bellonna, in her mortal life, she went through something that no one should ever have to go through. Honestly, it's sad that it is what forced her into becoming what she is now. I honestly can't blame her for wanting her revenge on those who betrayed her. I probably would have wanted the same if I were in her position. And while I would have loved to have seen a little bit more of the Obsidian circle, she does, in the end, get her full revenge.

I wish Warrick would have stepped up more and pushed Varys and Blackwell out of the way and really fought for Bellonna. I think he could have been a really great match for her. Instead, he was more just in the background, standing guard. Between all three men, I would have to say that Blackwell really stepped up and outshone the other two. Hopefully, as the series progresses, we will get to see more of what Warrick has to offer.

I really enjoyed this book for the most part. I think the spice was just right for this book. It wasn't over the top or two much. IYKYK, who I hope comes back and gets his reincarnation wish. We will just have to wait and see what happens in book 2, I guess.

What do you get with a 333 year old soulless urban legend "Bloody Mary", a Unicorn, and 2 vampires..... well, if Bre and Cassie are telling the story, you have quite the party or shall I say quite the magical reverse harem story. Yes, Unicorn shifter, and he is not only magical, sexy, and something even among vampires, Bloody Mary, and all the mortal and even immortals of the world thought to be unheard of or even extinct.

Bellona was a girl who just lost both of her parents. As an only child, she has to take care of her family’s farm. When her jealous best friend makes up lies and convinces the entire town she is a witch practicing her craft, they condemn her to death by pressing one rock at a time. When Bellona is dying a beautiful women, Lilith offers her a deal, she will be able to avenge those who have wronged her and become a legend that will have all cower to her, if she becomes at service to Lilith and gives up her sole to be immortal. At first, Bellona refuses, saying she can't, so Lilith tells her if she changes her mind, call out her name 3 times. When the next day comes and the town shows up and she is still breathing they are not convinced if she was a witch she would have escaped, instead they think she is only still alive because she is a witch, so they burn her. Right before they set her on fire, Rebecca admits quietly to Bellona that she concocted the whole witch story because William wanted Bellona as his wife, not Rebecca. They light her on fire and Bellona finding there is no good in the world if her best friend since baby's could do this she calls out Lilith 3 times. That is how, as legend calls her now, Bloody Mary is born.

Warrick is a vampire president of the Crimson Brotherhood MC. His VP is a serial killer, well in his mortal life he was, now he is just a vampire killer that takes pleasure in killings and torture for the MC, named Blackwell. Things get a little crazy when a unicorn named Vienna comes to the MC and asks for help to rescue her brother, Varys. He is also a unicorn shifter, and the The Obsidian Circle has taken him. They will use dark magic blood rituals to drain all of her brothers magic, which is pure and healing for their rituals. Warrick agrees to help her in exchange for donating her blood, desperate Vienna agrees.

Meanwhile, Varys is trapped in a cell, refusing to shift into his unicorn form. He refuses and so is injected with something to make him shift and beaten and starved when he keeps refusing. He knows he is on the brink of death when so desperate he recalls a story his grandmother told him about an unkind woman who listens and may help the wronged. So out of desperation, he calls into a mirror for Bloody Mary 3 times. He is shocked when she appears and listens to his story. She tells him she will think about helping him, and as fast as she appears, she disappears.

All the while the Crimson Brotherhood MC President and VP are forming a plan to get Varys out. They get in to where they are holding him and make a rescue. On their way out, from a such rescue of Varys Bloody Mary, also known as Bellona, decides she will help Varys and appears. She is so angry, thinking not only did Varys betray her, but these 2 vampires stole what was hers. She swears all he*l is going to rain down on these three men.

While getting revenge on the 3 men or at least trying, Bellona starts to be enchanted by these men, especially Varys. Maybe it is his magic of a Unicorn Shifter, maybe it is discovering after 300+ years that Lilith never actually said she had to live her life alone, or maybe it is finding out that these 3 men could possibly be her fate. She also could just decide to just follow through and destroy not only the MC but she will own a Unicorn Shifter to be at her beck and call. Bellona is a very indecisive woman and seems to change her mind quite frequently, especially when her goal has been to avenge and seek revenge, especially on those who betray her. You are just going to have to grab this book and fall into the enchantment it will bring to life.

I absolutely loved this book, and I am hopeful that this isn't the last we see of this crazy MC of Vampires, Unicorn Shifters, Bloody Mary, the Crimson Brotherhood MC, and even Lilith.

💕Reverse Harem (MMMF)
💕Bloody Mary x Vampires x Unicorn Shifter
✨Centered around MM relations
✨Possessive FMC
✨Love Triangle
✨Fated Mates
✨Enemies to Lovers
✨Insta Lust
📍Motorcycle Club Setting
❗️Dubcon between MCs

✅ The plot itself is actually really cool and fresh, and I haven’t seen something quite like it before.

✅When the MMCs, especially Warrick, talks about Bellonna, you can actually feel the fear and hesitance that would come from accidentally inviting a legendary monster like that into your home. There is some real reverence… at least at first

❌ This threatening aura is immediately undermined by the fact that Bellonna never actually does anything threatening. Even when she is enraged it has zero emotional weight and falls flat, people are terrified of the tales about her, not her.

❌ It’s not really a reverse harem, because the centrepiece of the relationship is Valys, not Bellonna. Everyone is competing for his attention, fighting over him, and he even has to ask her if she is willing to share him with the others. She feels more like an afterthought and a hot piece of ass if anything…

❌ No worldbuilding or downtime. Just plot, smut, plot, smut, plot. Many aspects were just not explained at all, it felt very surface level.

❌No organic development of relationships either. One moment they’re essentially strangers and in the next they’re suddenly obsessed, in love, feel safe with each other and act like they have a longstanding history beyond lust and a single hookup…

❌The writing itself was just not very good. It felt very soulless and fell flat, no emotional weight and is all felt very stiff. Emotions had little to no impact and despite the extremely fast pacing, it bored me.

Random other thoughts:
➖ The bikerclub setting was completely irrelevant to the rest of the plot. It didn’t play a role ONCE
➖ Random inconsistencies, like Bellonna’s eye colour changing, or characters suddenly forgetting info they were told a chapter earlier
➖ The FMC has a sex slave…
➖ Every single character is horny af. Not just the MCs but every single supporting character as well. Like Lillith randomly groping herself mid conversation or asking when Bellonna is gonna eat her out like ma’am, what?

Conclusion
The premise of the book was really interesting. While I’m not a huge fan of the harem focusing on a guy instead of a girl I would have been fine with it, because it made for an interesting conflict, in theory.
The execution is where it all fell apart for me. Little worldbuilding, so fast paced that relationships don’t develop organically, and what should’ve been emotional scenes fell entirely flat. Maybe a couple more drafts and an edito, and this could have been a great book, because like I said, the premise is very intruiging.

I received the book as an ARC and am leaving this review voluntarily.

When Bellonna is betrayed by her best friend and falsely accused of witchcraft, she strikes a deadly bargain with Lilith—trading her soul for immortality and the power to exact revenge… and Bloody Mary is born. The authors take the classic legend and twist it into something dark, fierce, and utterly mesmerizing. And honestly? That’s exactly what makes this story so compelling. Flash forward over three centuries, and Bellonna is summoned by Varys, a unicorn shifter, who's in a tight spot with the Obsidian Circle. But just as she’s about to collect her reward, Varys is snatched away by the Crimson Brotherhood, robbing Bellonna of her prize. Let’s just say… she does not take it well. One of the most refreshing things in this book is watching vampires, typically the top of the supernatural food chain, shrink back in fear from something even more formidable. Bellonna owns that fear like a queen. Though Blackwell, ever the smoldering bad boy, is more intrigued (and undeniably attracted) than afraid, while Warwick is the cautious one, constantly wondering what fresh hell is coming next. While Bellonna is clearly the center of this storm, much of the plot revolves around Varys. Everyone wants a piece of him, though it’s not always in a bad way. Bellonna herself is a phenomenal character: sharp, deadly, and unapologetically powerful. Centuries of rage have turned her into a force of nature—but she also surprises with moments of humor and vulnerability that make her feel more real. Watching her dynamic with Warwick and Blackwell change is deliciously entertaining. At first, she’s all about taking down the vampire MC, but things get... complicated. Like many readers, I found myself captivated by Blackwell—there’s just something irresistible about that devil-may-care, rogue energy that outshines Warwick’s brooding persona. As enemies become allies and a mutual threat draws unexpected lines of loyalty, Bellonna and her men form a bond that’s just as bloody as it is fiery. And yes, the spice delivers—though I wouldn’t have minded a little more shared screen time between all four leads (fingers crossed for the sequel!). With brutal action, buckets of gore, a take-no-prisoners heroine who could out-balls any action hero, and three deadly—and delicious—men at her side, this story is a wild, bloody ride that fans of dark fantasy won’t want to miss.

MC Club meets Bloody Mary meets a unicorn meets some vampires in a twisted, dark, yet at times hilarious story by Bre Rose and Cassie Lein.

I was super skeptical at first with the prologue- I think it took me twice to really be able to sit down and read that, which is rare for me because I eat up anything that these two write, together or individually. I am so glad I didn't give up because let me tell you, once I got past that- BAM. The story was fast paced, full of laughs, darkness, relationship drama and drama all on it's own.

For once, it is hard for me to pick just one of the MC's that I fell in love with. Blackwell was so deliciously dark but yet during the spicy moments of the story, holy swoon, was he hot. Warwick was hot in his own way (especially in his first real interaction with Varys) and Bellonna- holy crap was I not expecting to love her the way that I did. There was something about her revenge plot when that was revealed that made me laugh and find her even more attractive as the FMC than the beginning of the story. I also really enjoyed the moment when Blackwell and Warwick stole Varys from Bellonna (unintentionally because how were they supposed to know Varys has already summoned her). I think that added another level of hilarity and tension to the story, on top of the feud with the Obsidian Circle. It really led to some funny moments of the guys knowing that Bellonna was there messing with them, but them not being able to really tell what was real and what was all in their heads.

I have been waiting for a good vampire story for a while now (way too long in my opinion) and this one certainly fulfilled all of my wishes and more. Great Great read and start to this series and I can't wait to see what comes next!

What a great read! The unlikely coming together of 2 vampires, Blackwell and Warrick, a rare unicorn shifter, Varys and the savage Demon Goddess, Bellonna, with a small taste for vengeance sets the scene for this story.
Bellonna died hundreds of years ago and was saved at the last minute by the Goddess, Lilith. Giving up your soul for immortality did not seem too much of a hardship to Bellonna who had unfinished business in the mortal world. Leaving a trial of destruction over the years, making sure the people and their ancestors responsible for her death, paid with their own lives.
She was a Myth, a Legend, a whisper in the dark that everybody deemed just a fable!
It is not until she is called to help a rare Unicorn shifter, Varys, from certain death, that the fable/myth becomes very real!
The story evolves as the Vampires, Warrick and Blackwell are first on scene to rescue Varys, at the request from his sister, not realizing that Varys had already requested the aid of Bellonna.
This sets the tone for the remainder of the story. The push and pull between Blackwell, Warrick and Varys had already established a form of bond between them when Bellonna sweeps in and steals their friend away.
This foursome finally do find their way to each other, but the path to their happiness lies in defeating a mutual enemy and rescuing Varys's sister.
The banter from Blackwell sets a light tone to the story, whereas Warrick, the fearsome leader of the Vampire MC club maintains his stoicism, and then Varys falls head over hoof for Bellonna along the way.
A truly enjoyable read, with some mystery and a bit of mayhem and shenanigans (courtesy of Blackwell) thrown in!

Holy shit, where do I even begin with this one?!. This is the first time I've read a co write between Cassie lein and bre rose and it won't be my last, by fuck it blew me out the water. My jaw was on the motherfucking ground. It was messy, dark, bloody, gritty and smexy and I was here for every minute of it!!

Once I started I couldn't for the life of me put it down, I didn't want to I was hooked from the beginning, glued to they pages and on the edge of my seat needing to find out more. It's a wild rollercoaster ride with twists and turns. It's packed with myths, action, drama, spice, comedy and loads more. We get a range of paranormal elements. I wasn't disappointed with this book at all, I loved it and I fell in love with the characters. Bellonna and her men, hot damn. She's one badass chick and her crazy banter is hilarious.

I couldn't stop laughing when Blackwell calls bloody mary- IYKYK!! Their chemistry is burning the world down it's that hot. The way these authors came together to write this book is just amazing, the storyline, plot, worlds , characters it was all very well done and executed. Bloody brilliant! I will definitely be reading more co- writes by these authors ! Highly recommend. 10/10 stars from me!!

Horror in any form is generally not my thing, but there are some exceptions. One of the most infamous urban legends ever. Fangs and Freaks is a steamy why-choose Bloody Mary retelling, and it was awesome.

Bloody Mary's real name is actually Bellonna. She was an outspoken woman with intelligence, and she lived alone in the 1600s. She was basically awesome, but it also made her a target. Her origin story of betrayal, murder, and transformation was a good one.

This is a dark romance. There's Warrick, the controlled president of the Crimson Brotherhood, a vampire MC. Blackwell, Warrick's right hand, is crazier than a squirrel who lost all their nuts. Bell is dominating them all, and Varys is the one light that pulls them all together. Things didn't start off on the best of terms. The guys piss Bell off, so she decides to play a game of psychological warfare. All of this soon leads to light stalking, dark teasing, wicked dreams, and steamy nights. This book was spicy.

My feelings about the characters are way too complicated to put in this review. I will say that I love Blackwell's craziness. The plot was so good. As I mentioned, a wicked backstory—I enjoyed the dark atmosphere and dangerous flirtatiousness. Not to mention, this book had some pretty good twists. Fangs and Freaks was unexpected; I would so recommend it to anyone who likes villain romances.

Absolutely Addicting

Bre Rose and Cassie Lein took the myths of vampires and unicorns and twisted it the urban legend of Bloody Mary and gave us the absolutely best book ever!! While everyone knows the legend of Bloody Mary and how to call her and what happens, that's it. These girls took it for a twist and gave her a chilling and haunting back story that draws you in and puts you right in the middle. The depth of the storyline and characters made me feel 100 percent of their emotions through the book. Once I picked it up, there was no putting it down until it was completed. Bellonna is the fiercest and also the funniest FMC I've ever seen. She truly holds her own. But then again, she is Bloody Mary. Varys is sweet and kind but also has a little jealous protective streak going through him. Warrick, man, this guy is my absolute favorite. He is hilarious and never takes anything serious and is just one big kid in a couple hundred years old vampire. And then Blackwell, who is the complete opposite of him. He is the leader, the go-to person, he takes no crap and he wants everything done a certain way. These three absolutely work together, though, and help crack Bellonna walls down, and we get an amazing story from it with lots of twists and turns and revenge.

🌶️🌶️

This book was written by two of my all time favorite authors. This one just wasn’t my jam. I also spent the entire book in a Mandela effect. I could have sworn the FMC’s name was Belladonna.

The book starts off with a vampire MC on their way to help a girl rescue her brother. The two leaders, Warrick and Blackwell quickly find out they have some strong feelings for the rescued brother. LOVE THAT.

Bellonna got the raw end of a terrible stick. She was betrayed by her best friend, which leads her to making a pretty hard choice. (One I am sure most of us could make in the same situation) when Varys the brother in trouble calls out to her for help she realizes she can’t stop thinking about him. LOVE THAT!

My problem is with the way she treats Varys and the MC leaders. I get the whole I’m in charge thing. And I know it’s a winner for most. But I don’t like when ownership borders on abuse and aggression. And this felt very close. We all deserve autonomy of our own bodies and choices. I tried to keep in mind why Bellonna was the way she was but I just couldn’t shake it.

Will this stop me from reading more books by these authors? ABSOLUTELY NOT! I’ll be here for the next one in a heartbeat.

I found the concept of Bloody Mary quite engaging, and the story itself does offer quite an interesting backstory as to the creation of a legend, who faces the ultimate betrayal. In such dire circumstances, from desperation and sorrow a lost soul finds a new purpose in her life, one that leads to the ultimate path of vengeance.

I did like the story, the entire background history of the FMC and her journey as to becoming a different kind of creature, with power bestowed by no other than the captivating Lilith herself. Although there were some really good ideas here, I did struggle with the romance here as the focus seems to be more on the unicorn shifter rather than the main heroine. The MC vampires were quite the characters, but somehow, I did not see things emotionally developing between them and the FMC. I understand that the mate trope does pull things together, but I do prefer to have an equally balanced relationship between all parties. I guess, it felt a bit like they were with her because of V., not because they were in love with her.

It is rather fast paced story, one that shows an interesting perspective on the legend of Bloody Mary and her quest for vengeance, and surprisingly newfound family.

FANGS & FREAKS is the first book in the Shifters of Myth and Legends series and features Bloody Mary. Bellonna was wrongly accused of being a witch by her so-called best friend, pressed and burnt. At the last moment, she calls on Lilith to help and spends the next three hundred or so years becoming Bloody Mary.

Varys is a unicorn who was kidnapped. Blackwell is the psycho boy, and Warrick is his brother and president of the MC. These four cause chaos and wreak mayhem on pretty much every page and I am here for it.

It is a dark read with TWs, so take note! It is fast-paced and with plenty of bl00d and s3x, although only one scene with the four of them together. Although not a traditional one, our guys do get a HEA.

This was a great read that I definitely recommend and I look forward to reading more in this series.

"She is an enigma, a nightmare wearing the face of a goddess."

Wow. Bre Rose and Cassie Lein did a great job with the book. Who doesn't love old folklores, vampires, a certain queen of demons making an appearance, and a unicorn? Bellonna went through something in her mortal life that no body ever should and it is sadly what shaped her into who she became. She wanted her revengeful on those that betrayed her and she definitely got it. I would have liked to see a little more with the Obsidian Circle, but ehh.

I think my biggest complaint though is.. I just wish we would have gotten more of Warrick. Even when Bellonna was building her relationships with Varys and Blackwell, Warrick was just kind of in the background it seemed. Blackwell definitely stole the show in this book though in my opinion.

Overall, I loved it. It has just the right amount of spicy times too and I hope Blackwell gets his reincarnation wish ;) IYKYK

Fangs & Freaks ( Shifters Of Myths and Legends Series ) well this is certainly the perfect example of what a power duo Cassie Lein and Bre Rose are together. I have to be completely up front and say that I am not typically someone who enjoys , fantasy / vampire or shifter romances by any means. That being said . Cassie and Bre really did change all that for me . Fangs and Freaks is not only a vampire / shifter romance but it also happens to center around one of my absolute favorite urban legends Bloody Mary and phew was it a dark emotional rollercoaster of a story . But so freaking fun to read . Blackwell , Warrick and Bellonna - how to choose which one I loved more - nope not even possible because all 3 characters were just so captivating and so complex not to mention wonderfully written. This is definitely one story you need to read to fully enjoy . Beware though once you start there is absolutely no way you will be getting any sleep at all .

Fangs & Freaks by Cassie Lein and Bre Rose is a dark, immersive fantasy that blends supernatural vengeance with emotional depth. The story follows Bellonna, a woman betrayed and left for dead, who returns as an immortal spirit bound to vengeance. Summoned by a desperate shifter, she seeks justice, but her mission becomes personal when someone undermines her efforts. As she confronts the Crimson Brotherhood, a dangerous game of cat and mouse ensues, forcing Bellonna to choose between fulfilling her deadly duty or risking everything to protect those who may be her salvation.

It offers a gripping narrative filled with supernatural elements, emotional complexity, and a fierce heroine at its core. Perfect for readers who enjoy dark fantasy with strong female leads and intricate world-building.

This book was very, very good.
It was very entertaining , keep me on my toes but I loved how it was soooo spicy and funny at the same time , those are the best books.
Bellonna is probably one of the funniest females I have read in a book her banter and personality was sooo funny .
The book started off sad and serious and then went into funny and spicy added to it . I loved it .
The history with everyone meeting and then hating one another to working together was the best 😂😂😂
I won’t give away to much but one of my favorite parts is when Blackwell calls for bloody Mary and she says this is all you get and does something to his body is one of funniest , spicy scenes 🔥🔥😂😂😂❤️❤️.
Blackwell, warrick , vary are soooo opposite which makes them all sexy in their own way.
This book for sure is a must read! You will be entertained and turned on at the same time…

ENJOY THE FREAKSHOW

The collaborations between Bre Rose and Cassie Lein are always phenomenal and continue to wow me with the superb writing, the intense scenes and plot developments and the characters who grab you with their biting whimsy, dark deeds and vulnerable emotions.

A supernatural and mythical freakshow for all lovers of paranormal books, with dark themes that will delight even the most picky of readers. I will happily admit Blackwell was my favourite character, he's unconventional and psychotic tendencies with a quick wit were the highlight for me. The lingering chemistry between the characters and desire to own and possess each in their own way brings the steam element as well as the palpable dominance. There is so much to love about this book, it will not disappoint but then again Bre and Cassie never do!!

When I read books by Cassie Leigh or Bre Rose it always makes my little book reading heart happy regardless of the book being light or dark. However, when these two authors collaborate it makes my little book reading heart sing. Fangs & Freaks is dark, and I loved every minute that I was reading it. I love that this is a take on the urban legend of Bloody Mary. I totally fell in love with Blackwell. I was really surprised it was him and not Warwick because I usually fall head over heels for the grumps. Even though this book is dark there were a few times I found myself laughing so loud I scared my cats! I can’t wait to read the next book they decide to collaborate on. I enjoy both authors separately, but when they get together it is magical.

As always be mindful of trigger warnings, what I like you may not.

Happy Reading!

A unicorn shifter vampire MC and Bloody Mary walks in to a bar. this sounds like the beginning of a joke but its not this could be very true in the future.
We all know vampires exist but so does unicorn shifters and also Bloody Mary.
How she became what she is will be relieved, but when the unicorn shifter called for her she decided to claim him as hers.
Unicorn blood has magic in it so he's a hot target for a lot of creatures.
The vampire MC gets hold of him and Mary dont like that but what happens with that is also a surprise.
Then some bad cult got there hand on him and then the story turns into gore and a lot of action.
This book has it all romance spice gore blood and friendships in the most strange places its a book I recommend for everyone guaranteed to knock your socks off and have you wanting more.

This book is part of the Shifters of Myths and Legends series and I am so hyped about this series! This book was absolutely amazing to read and I was so sad when the story ended! I was not ready for that disappointment. I am not sure how many books will be in this series but I cannot wait to read them all!
OMG!! Where do I even begin to explain this book…I mean you mix one truly tragic and historic event, add in a tale of folklore, a shifter and so much more and this is what you get! You need to read the book to understand the “so much more” but you will be glad that you did. I could not and did not want to put this book down!
Thank you Cassie Lein and Bre Rose for another wonderful book! Your collabs are always so amazing and addicting to read! I am always so excited when I get my hands on your books! I will be waiting on pins and needles for the next book!

Cassie and Bre are a dynamite team. Their writing styles blend perfectly together, and Fangs & Freaks is another testament to this.
As with any good story, the first few pages need to pull the reader in, and they do this by the end of the prologue. What a tragic way for Bellonna to go. Then we meet Warrick Ravenwood, President of the Crimson Brotherhood MC, and his slightly unhinged brother, Blackwell. They're hired to find Varys, a unicorn captured by the Obsidian Circle.
Yet when Varys is at his lowest, he calls for Bloody Mary, or rather, Bellonna. But he's saved by the brothers first, and she's rightfully pissed because she's been gypped a victim.
Plot, RH smexy times (MM included), supernatural characters, humor (omg, Blackwell is hilarious), fighting, and a surprise or two, all add up to a well written book. And that's exactly what they've delivered.

hmm

Well written and grammatically correct. Can be a bit confusing since there are 4 MC and each chapter is from a different viewpoint. I found it a bit confusing to keep track of who the Is and hims were. It has a bit of a slow start for me. But that could just be me since I took a time out from 2 others today because I just couldn’t get into them.
This is an interesting take of Bloody Mary and the legend surrounding her. This version is definitely not one for preteen and teen girls at slumber parties. This Bloody Mary is more along the line of the original fairy tales except darker with sex.
I have to wonder where book 2 will take us. Answering another Bloody Mary summons or a whole new group of myths and legends. I would recommend this book to anyone who is looking for the darker side of love stories yet having a true connection.

Who does not love a dark retelling from two of our favourite authors. When this duo comes together we know that we are in for a treat.

Check those trigger warnings out first as this book is dark, devilishly depraved and has the right amount of gore.

This book is going to give you that oh really, what did i just read and really did that happen. A myth, a legend, that just is that but the thing is she is more, you call her and she will appear, she is there for vengeance.

But things take a turn for our bloody Mary, and she is thrust into the MC of vampires which brings more than just vengeance it brings lust, chemistry and so much more.

If you love the dark and deranged this is a book for you.
