Hey there! Before I tell you all about myself, can I invite you to join my private Rachel's Readers Facebook group? That's where my readers hang out, discuss my books, participate in giveaways and learn about new releases.
So who am I? My name is Rachel Hanna, and I am a wife, mother of three incredible kids (maybe I am a BIT biased?), two lovable doggies and one cat that lives outside and thinks he owns the world. Okay, I also have a gecko now too. Don't judge me.
I started writing as a young child, and I went into the field of Journalism for many years as an adult. Now, as a romantic fiction writer, I get to live out my own daydreams every single day and share them with readers around the world!
I'm a Southern chick living near Atlanta, so I say "yes, ma'm" and "ya'll", but I wouldn't have it any other way. :)
I can't wait for the story to continue with Addisons take on everything. This series has taken me on a vacation to January Cove where I wish I could stay forever.
Loved this story! High on emotion, it's beautifully written and you can't help but fall in love with Rebecca and Leo. Of course we already love Jackson and I'm so glad he's coming home to January Cove where he belongs! Definitely a book I recommend.
Not my favorite. Same basic story line as the others. Leo was the more interesting character in this story, but his abrupt attitude change was unrealistic.
A nice, feel good book, but she certainly has a formula. Gorgeous man meets single mother who struggling to make a life for herself, me each other, think they shouldn't get together, something happens and they end up together. There are 15 of these books, I don't think I'll be reading them all one after the other. Nice for a break between dark reads though. Also, the men heroes are far too perfect and the women just a bit too tragic. Feminists would have a field day with this.

Great book this is the third book on January Cove sears and I do hope there is another one or two to finish off the family. After I finished this one it was like saying goodbye to old friends. It was that good I love the carters and the story everything about this sears was great Great book great author and a must read sears.
I read the first novel in the January Cove Series, by Rachel Hanna, and downloaded several of the other books in the series, all as audiobooks. "Falling for You," is the 3rd in the series, and I read it out of order, but what I read, the books do not need to be read in order. If I were to be quizzed on the plot of this book, or how it was carried out, I would flunk. It was a snooze fest for me, a book that did nothing to entertain or elicit any kind of feeling in me, other than a wish for it to be over. Thankfully, it was a short book, and I was released from my boredom after several hours. I cannot give a book just one star, when an author took the time to write it, but it was not good, (at least not by my definition of a good book) and I do not like what seems to me to be financial greed, when what could be one long book, or even two, becomes a series with 10 books. At a minimum, 3 books could be published as one. Other authors do the same thing, and I normally avoid series, but I had read the first, and liked it enough to want to continue. This piece of the series was so meh, that I am only giving it 2 stars. The end!
So far I enjoyed this novella the most out of the three I’ve listened to in the series. Jackson and Rebecca had pretty good chemistry with each other, and I liked them individually (despite some eye-rolling moments based on both of their pasts). I also liked Jessica’s son, Leo, and his relationship with Jackson. True to its Hallmark style, there was some drama and predictability. There were a lot of pacing issues, just like the first two, but I didn’t mind because it kept me entertained just like the others. I also enjoyed that we got to see Jenna and Kyle, and Tessa and Aaron, and more of the Parker family, as this novella continues with the flow of time that started in the first books. It makes me excited to read the love stories of Addison and Brad.
Very Hallmarkesque. Single widowed mom with 14 yo surly son moves from NYC to small coastal town in Georgi and opens a coffee shop. Guy from Atlanta comes to January Cove for Thanksgiving and has a run in with her and her son at the shop. Unbeknownst to both, his brother has invited her to Thanksgiving dinner. they start liking each other and he helps the son with his anger issues. Then the ex-girlfriend stops by to say she is pregnant. End of relationship until the son solves the mystery. Last pages daughter comes home and eludes to a secret which is presumably the segue to the next book in the series.
This is book 3 of January Cove series. In this book we meet the oldest of the Parker children Jackson. He spent his time helping raise his 4 younger siblings after his dad dies. When he can he decides to head the big city of Atlanta to work. He comes home for Thanksgiving and meets the new girl in town who runs the new coffee shop in town. Rebecca is a single mom who has secrets of her own and sparks begin to fly between Jackson and Rebecca.
This is another sweet Rachel Hanna book that I loved.
Just finished Falling for You in the January Cove Series. This was another fantastic book. Jackson Parker spent most of his life looking out for and helping raise his younger siblings. When he left January Cove he became a successful businessman and a workaholic. He came home for Thanksgiving and discovered his life was about to change. A beautiful red-haired woman caught his eye. She owns a coffee shop in January Cove. Life becomes interesting for both of them. This is one amazing series about the Parker family. Can't get enough of them.
Rebecca and her 15 year old son have moved to January Cove for a fresh start and that includes opening Jolt, a coffee shop. Jackson Parker has come home for Thanksgiving but doesn't plan to stay long. Then he walks into Jolt and has a run in with Leo then with Rebecca. He plans to put the two out of his mind but something about Rebecca and Leo keeps popping into his mind. All Jackson knows is that both are dealing with great sadness and he tries to help. Will the two open up to him and let him help? Will he return to his life in Atlanta or will he decide to return to January Cove?
This is number three in the January Cove series. It is the story of Jackson, the eldest of the Parker clan. As such, he helped raise the rest of the kids when their father died and then went straight to a career. Because of these circumstances Jackson has never really had a personal life. Is it time he did?
Jackson Parker comes home for Thanksgiving and meets a feisty redheaded widow and her teenage son.Jackson is very busy and successful and has his whole life back in Atlanta. Rebecca has moved to January Cove from NYC to escape memories of her sad past and to give her son Leo a new start. Can these two strong personalities find love in spite of their differences?
As with most of her series, this one is pretty predictable. I typically like to read thrillers, but I enjoy reading Rachel Hanna's books also. They are quick reading and good as fillers when you don't have time for a long book and/or need a palate cleanse from too many 'edge of your seat' books.
I have really enjoyed these quick summer sweet reads. I love the fact that it brings in real-world issues and then works through them. I'm not saying much just that a mother of a child, who lost her husband in 9-11 moves to Jaxson's home town and they meet. It's a bit of a crazy journey from there.
I'm enjoying learning about each member of the Parker family in this series. And I'm addicted to the author's writing,, which is simple and quick to read..sort of a refresher in my readings. I didn't enjoy this book as much as the others in the January Cove series but it kept me entertained for awhile..onto book #4 in the Cove series...
Another great Rachel Hanna read! Love the stories so much, but they are short and it is getting to be expensive Kindle reads. I’m on to #4 in this series, but may, then, have to back off for a while, although I wish I could read every one of her Series! Every story is so fun to read.
Book 3 in the January Cove series. The oldest Parker son, Jackson, comes home for Thanksgiving and stops for coffee at the new coffee shop and meets the new owner Rebecca, and her son Leo. Their first meeting was not very pleasant. Something kept Jackson coming back. They both deserve to have their chance at love. A good fast read.
If you’re looking for a quick and easy read, Falling For You by Rachel Hanna might be a good choice. While the story is more predictable compared to her other works, it’s still a pleasant read for those seeking something light and uncomplicated. It’s not the most standout book in her collection, but it’s a decent way to pass an afternoon. Overall, I’d rate it 3 stars.
Even though it’s not my favorite so far… I still enjoyed it and couldn’t put it down. I loved the characters and the dialogue. The romance almost felt forced instead of the normal flow of the book. Again… still enjoyed and would recommend! Can’t wait for the next one to see what’s going on with Addison!
Cute story of another Parker brother, Jackson. You want things to work out for him. And Rebecca needs something good to happen in her life. When the two of them meet, sparks definitely happen. It just hard to believe their story happened within a few days!
Leaving New York for a change with the her 14 year son. She was leaving a life that had been sad since 2001 and her husband being killed. Now in January Cove. Her son giving her trouble she had to do something to help him. With Jackson in town what happens with the two is a surprise for the both of them and her son. Lets see who is next to find love.
After reading and thoroughly enjoying 35 of Rachel Hanna’s novels, this one came in with author Hannah feeling the need to describe the sexual act in detail. I have enjoyed her wholesome books and now now will likely choose not to read any more of them.
I really enjoyed this book. It reminded me of my own life. I have one son, and his father died when he was very young. I had to raise him by myself. I never dated just stayed home raising him.
I am so glad I found these books written by Rachel Hannah! Each one is so interesting and I look forward to the development of the characters and the interesting plots.
Continuation of the Parker family in January Cove.. This is the story between Jackson and Rebecca and her son Leo this is another great series by Rachel Hanna
