In this edgy little thriller from acclaimed author R.J. Jagger, Denver homicide detective Nick Teffinger follows a killer to Paris, expecting a dangerous but straightforward hunt. What he doesn't foresee is that he and a beautiful French detective would be pulled into a deadly game--a game that would stretch from Paris to Cairo to the Valley of the Kings; a game rooted in ancient tombs, archeological murders and lost treasures; a game that started thousands of years ago but is not over yet. If you haven't read any of this series, it may help to know that Teffinger is a Denver homicide detective who relentless pursues killers, generally serial
killers. All of the Teffinger books tell the story through three sets of eyes, Teffinger's eyes, those of a young female lawyer, and through the eyes of a crazed killer. They are well-written books that are fast-reading and really fun to read. They have a modern noir flavor. In this
one, Teffinger chases a serial killer halfway around the world. This tale
spans three continents and involves murder, ancient treasure, and a seductress.

Be forewarned that these books have been published under a number of different titles and different pen names.
