I read the blurb on the back of this book before i picked up a copy and if im honest i expected more from it than it delivered. I am not sure entierely what purpose the ice cat had other than to introduce Tom's fathers illness and his talent for carving animals.

Unfortuanately this book wasnt i expected and i wont be reading it again.
