Annabelle St. Clair had the voice of an angel and the devil at her heels. On the run for a murder she didn't commit, the world-renowned singer was reduced to singing in saloons--until she found a handsome gunslinger willing to take her to safety in San Francisco. From the author of Chase the Lightning.
I really enjoyed this story. It is different than any other historical romance I've read. There is some delightful dialogue, including extemporaneous bawdy limericks. I became mentally and emotionally involved in the story. The ending was satisfying.
