The audacity alone makes 2475 worth a hundred stars. Glad we’ve got a Thai graphic novel like this one. I can only imagine the amount of research that went into materializing this book. Although, at times, I feel the heaviness of said research (probably from the determination to be historically accurate as possible).
Despite the seriousness of the subject matter, I’m delighted that Sa-ard still keeps his humor intact. Also boldly presented on the pages is how much he loves playing with structure (though some segment could have used another editorial eye). The Tale of Jampa is an outstanding story-within-a-story. The espionage part has the potential to be stronger. Love the pen names given to the writers of Sang Aksorn, so playful!
I still maintain that Sa-ard should give screenwriting a try. He’s thinking cinematically and it shows.
