Roger Ormerod was born in Wolverhampton, Staffordshire. He worked as a county court officer, an executive officer in the Department of Social Security, a postman, and a shop loader in an engineering factory.
The author has amazing ability to describe environments, people, and situations. I love the color of his books. What gives me problem is the logic leaps the author uses to advance his plots. The author may have much better social intelligence than I have and hence, the leaps for me are simply logical successions for him. I read his books because he has this wonderful ability to place me right there in his descriptions. Each book involves a different setting and situation. If the reader is capable of just accepting the story advancement, instead of like me trying to follow the clues and inferences to the next step, you will be entranced by this series.
