He forced me to marry him. Then as a bonus, he knocked me up. I was an innocent girl who found herself in a tricky situation. A Bratva guy almost twice my age offered to help me out. He has one his cruel payment, I’m forced to become his Bratva bride. He’s the most ruthless of the Milov Bratva. He’s also obsessed with me. So when he sees his chance, he pays the money and takes me home. He says there are no rules for a guy like him. He says he will be coming on strong, whether I like it or not. There are horror stories about what he’s done to people. They don’t even come close to the truth. He plays my exhausted body like his own personal toy. He takes my innocence until I’m addicted to what only he can give. And as he gently strokes my growing belly with his ice cold fingers, I can take no more. Can he be the baby daddy I crave so badly? The Milov Bratva play only one kind of one that is full of blood, cruelty, and power. Only their brides come to see another side of them. A side where they will protect the ones they love and die for them if they have to. Until you can’t do anything but want them for life.
Veda Rose loves getting lost in the intense, dark and suspenseful universes she creates. Although her characters can often be complicated and twisty, at the core of it all is deep and profound love.
Born and raised in Portland, Veda Rose has always been an introvert who could often be found deeply engrossed in a book. Or multiple books. So it was only natural that at some point she would embark on her own journey as a writer to bring to life her wild imagination.
When she is not writing or thinking out her next tormented love fantasy, she enjoys hiking and exploring unfamiliar places with her furry companions.
It starts with all the brothers and Penny with Asher, at the club in the Vip room. Danil is thinking he is going to make Asher his wife, but " until then I have a scratch to ich." Then, he takes some random woman home with him. Gross. Ruined the book for me.
Asher is friends with Penny who is married to the head of the Milov Bratva, although she is best friends with one of the brothers she never expects to have caught Danil's attention. When Asher's sister comes for a visit, she finds herself in a world of hurt, Danil steps into fix the situation but it requires Asher to agree to marry him, no divorce. Reluctantly Asher agrees and they wed, but while Danil is willing to win over Asher and make her his queen, Asher is out for revenge. What happens when her feelings change?
I liked this but I thought the sister dynamic was weird and once Asher started her revenge plan I found I couldn't stand her. She never really redeemed herself for me. Danil is a bit high handed but I liked him and enjoyed his story.
This is the 2nd book in the series and it is fantastic. The H had feelings for the h, who is the best friend of his brother’s wife. He wanted her. The h didn’t want a relationship so when her little sister got them into a financial situation at a casino, the H used this opportunity to force her to marry him. There is betrayal, surprised pregnancy and a lot of sex. They were able to find their way back to each other. Good ending.
I'm giving 3.5 stars because I generally enjoyed the novel. It's a quick, steamy read, and I was really rooting for Asher and Danil. However, at some point, Asher just became annoying, and Danil turned into a softie. It started dark, and towards the end, it was not. The ending felt rushed. And just like the previous one, there is a lot of British vocabulary on a novel that is set in Las Vegas. There are also some grammatical errors throughout that are distracting. Over all its ok.
The Bratva's Forced Bride, interesting story with twist and turns, drama, angst, lust, love, betrail, bad guys and not to forget characters that surprised me more than I had anticipated. Daniel had so much more personality and depth than I had expected and Asher well she disappointed a bit I guess everyone reacts differently but she came across childish and not very mature.
This was a wonder read and was an interesting perspective when the traitor is being coerced from two directions. Ash has cared for her sister Piper since she was barely old enough to she finds herself in an awkward position because of Piper making a poor decision.
This could have cost both girls their freedom of she had not agreed to marry the next single Milov brother, a decision not taken lightly.
This was cute and passionate but the sex was not intense enough for me. But the story was good and I really enjoyed Danil as the male lead. He really wanted Asher and she spent most of book being mad about how he negotiated with her about the marriage. It was at the very end of the story that she finally saw how bad she really treated Danil. He didn’t deserve her betrayal. Her character irritated me thus four stars.
Great storyline amazing in writing. But, Asher was mildly annoying and selfish. She was vindictive and needy all at the same time. But, this did not sour the series for me. On to the next brother. Let's see what type of woman gets sucked into this family.
Not a particularly interesting Bratva book, this is the second book in the Milov series and really follows the same pattern as the first controlling merely class man forces woman to marry him gets her pregnant she falls in love with him blah de blah. Where is the interest or any true Bratva action it doesn't exist. Not a great read.
Didn’t think it could, but the adventure between Danil and Asher was a step better than book one. I could feel the growth of their love, even before they acknowledged it. A true love story and how the heart can change even in a heartless situation. Love the story beginning to ending. Excellent Reading.
This was a really great read that I absolutely loved!!! It has a gripping storyline that I couldn’t put down . The characters are really interesting and have great hot chemistry between them. This is a new author for me I will definitely check out more of her book!!
Well, what did Danil expect. Asher is independent, and her sister is her life. Of course, she wouldn't take that lying down. I'm glad they worked their stuff out and were able to see love conquers all.
This continuing Story is So Wonderful! It's intense but heartfelt at the same time. Finding commonalities in our backgrounds and Lives. I'm Greatful to this Marvelous Author for sharing this story with her Readers!
I did not think that I would like this book because I liked the first book so much and Danielle was a little bit of a jerk in that book but now that I know more about him. I really enjoyed this book. Off to read the next one in this series.
I don’t know how this got a good rating. I cringed the entire time. The story was very jumpy. One minute I’m reading about her at work and then the very next sentence she’s at home in bed. Ummm what, how? There was no smooth transitioning at all.
Daniel determined to win a bet from his two younger brother and Asher determined to keep her independence. One of them gets what they want while the other doesn’t. Great story now onto the next in the series and hope it’s just as good as the first two.
this is the story of asher and danil and how he realizes he has always had feelings.. she fights her feelings for him because she wants to remain an independant woman ... it was a good story...
The beginning is attractive, but I just cannot understand Ash’ thoughts and motivations. In addition, the ending is abrupt and stiff. In all, this one is not as good as the first in the series.
This is Danil and Asher’s story. Danil gets a call from Asher to help her with a situation involving her sister. Danil runs to their aid and this is their journey. I enjoyed this read.
