Runaway is a fast-paced prequel with suspense, danger, romance, and secret identities, and it's set in a small town. There is forced proximity between the hero and heroine in this story who are being targeted.
If you enjoy a small town, forced proximity suspense read, you'll don't want to miss out on Runaway.

1. How did you feel about the setting?

Willowdale, Arkansas is a charming small town, exuding that cozy small-town atmosphere. I have a special fondness for stories set in small towns, so I was confident that I would adore this tale.

2. What do potential readers need to know most about the main character?

Receptionist Bethany Wilkinson also fulfilled the role of nurse at Dr. Ramsey’s office.

3. Which supporting character caught your interest the most?

Ryan McGregor is Bethany’s neighbor but had he made a mistake moving to a small town? He was trying to keep a low profile because of an incident he saw.

4. What journey do(es) the main character(s) take?

Can it be confirmed whether the individual present in Bethany’s apartment is identical to the individual collaborating with Dr. Ramsey?

5. How is the writing style or quality of the writing?

The novella “Runaway” is an easily comprehensible literary work crafted with exceptional quality.

6. For whom would you recommend this book?

I recommend Runaway to fans of contemporary romantic suspense. It’s a great reread for those who read Stay With Me in the Summer Heat 2023 Anthology.

7. Why did you give it the star rating you did?

Runaway is a fast and easy read that serves as a prequel. It deserves 5*/5*.

8. Is the title memorable and/or emotion-grabbing?

Yes, it definitely catches my eye.

9. Does the title ask a question that must be answered?

Wow, this really makes me want to find out who’s running away and why.
