Chessa Andersen smiles any time her friends call her “a genius,” “brilliant,” “an angel,” and her all-time favorite, “a wizard.” When she isn’t arguing with her husband about being a wizard, she begrudgingly mows the huge lawn on hot summer days in Iowa and loves listening to drops of rain hit the skylight above her desk.
She believes sleep cures everything, the bitcoin system is way more complicated than it needs to be, and laughter really is the best medicine. She is obsessed with blended coffee drinks, games on her tablet, and sparkly nail polish.

I really enjoyed this book! It was such a fast paced and fun read! I enjoyed that it included different short stories; it keeps you entertained and looking forward to the next story.
Some of the stories were so sweet and some were spicy. It was a nice mixture between the two. You will be able to devour this book within a couple hours.
Overall, I had a great time reading this book! A perfect book for the month of love!
This was a fun collection of short valentines themed stories. There were several different tropes covered, from siblings best friend to second chance. I enjoyed some of them more than others, but there is something for everyone. The spice level ranges throughout as well, one story had no spice and then you have a story set in a sex club. I read this fairly quickly, in one sitting. This was a good introduction to new authors as I had never read wanting from any of these ones.
This is a compilation of stories that are 🔥🔥🔥 and I really enjoyed that. There is a good mix of story trope which gave an excellent variety. This is a good, quick, very spicy holiday read.
DNFed in the middle of the second story. I was hoping the first was a fluke with its stilted writing, but the second was not much better. If these stories didn't have a 5,000 word limit, I think they would have been able to be fleshed out a bit more, and there would be a better chance I would have enjoyed them.
This book unfortunately was not for me. Some of the books just didn’t interest me and without going into much detail made me uncomfortable. If you are someone who loves classic romance with multiple popular troupes I think this is for you. I did like that it was a bunch of short novellas in one book. It’s definitely spice forward and little to no plot so keep that in mind.
Adore: A Valentine’s Steamy Romance Anthology is everything the title promises. It's a collection of short stories of love and passion (and LOTS of steamy moments) that center around Valentine’s Day. Filled with spicy, quick reads there is something for every romance reader within its pages.
I enjoyed most of the stories. The beauty of an anthology is if one story or author isn’t your style there are plenty of others to choose from. There’s everything from long time friends to lovers, enemies to lovers, and lots of other naughty moments to keep you turning the page.
I devoured this book in about 2 hours. These were some quick and naughty reads for Valentine's Day! There is a little bit of everything. Friends AND enemies to lovers, best friend's brother, sex club, and threesomes. If you're looking for something steamy to entertain yourself on this, the most romantic of days, you'll find it here.
Grab some wine and snacks. This collection is amazing. Each story is just beautiful. Found some great new authors that I’m so excited to read more of. Loved this.
If you're not in the mood for reading 300 pages novels for this Valentine's Day, then I totally recommend you this book of short and complete stories. There are 7 different stories, with different tropes in each of them. We have friends to lovers, enemies to lovers, workplace romance, boss and employee, sister's best friend, forbidden romance and second chance romance. We have steamy scenes, passionate kisses and interactions!! Valentine is our theme here, so of course we have endless looove confessions. Because they are short stories, our authors had to give us a glimpse of the MCs' lifes and thoughts, which in my opinion made it perfect. You could fit in the scene perfectly, even though it was an out of nowhere story. The spice was good, some better than the rest, some really graphic and some more subtle. I enjoyed them all. I also loved the enemies to lovers, workplace romance, because it took place in some kind of club I've never heard before , so that was a plus 🤭 The down part was that, because of the limited words each author could use, the confessions and the realization of the MCs' feelings were a bit rushed. But then again they really are short stories and you only get a few pages for each one so it is only fair to give us that much of the love and the feelings. I would really enjoy a full book about the boss and the employee story, cause y'all know I love that stuff 🤭🤭
Thank you all for sending me this awesome anthology ❤
Adore is an anthology with different stories but it didn’t connect with me and I ended up DNF’ing it. While some stories were captivating, others felt rushed and some too slow. However, readers who enjoy short stories and writing like that may appreciate this collection. Though it wasn't for me, I hope others will find it resonates with them. I did love that it was as spicy as it said it would be!
