I never planned to kiss Kye that night, but with him being the only one not scared of my ex, it became my only chance to get back at him. But now, I’m pretending to be the girlfriend of the town troublemaker while trying to not let that be known to my father. Everything was going according to plan until I found out the boy I wasn’t supposed to kiss might be the one I was meant to be with.
Kye Baker
I hate people touching me. It doesn’t matter who it is, I didn’t want to be touched. I didn’t like hands on me…until I had hers.
One kiss and my life slowly unraveled. The thing I thought I hated was becoming a constant need. The heart I didn’t think I had became a part of hers. She owned every part of me, and then left me to be the one to walk away from it all.
For one fleeting moment, I understood what it meant to be in love. Then fate intervened and I didn’t know if it would ever bring her back to me.
I have been dying for Kye's book from the beginning, but especially after Jax's book (book 3). Carly and Kye became besties, and we got to see a different side of Kye. He was closed off and had been through a lot. I love a broken, damaged man. Reckless Fate was EVERYTHING I needed it to be and more. Ransom has held on to the #1 spot for 4 books, but Kye stole the #1 spot from him. I am gone for Kye Baker!!!
⬇️ Tropes ⬇️ 🚘 Bad boy/sheriff's daughter 🚘 Fake Dating 🚘 Found Family 🚘 Girl Gang 🚘 She has the dirty mouth 🚘 Secret Tattoos 🚘 Second Chance 🚘 MMC, who can't stand to be touched, but she makes the pain go away with her touch
Daisy and her boyfriend Dean break up at the beginning of Reckless Fate. After they break up, she is at a party and needs a way to get back at Dean. Town Bad boy, Kye Baker, walks down the sidewalk, and Daisy has the brilliant idea to run up to him and kiss him. She doesn't know that Kye can't stand to be touched, and in that moment, Kye realizes that pain doesn't happen when Daisy touches him. This one moment changes the rest of Kye's life.
Kye Baker is on my top list of book boyfriends. He's tall, has tattoos, blonde hair, races cars, is a mechanic, town bad boy, he's beautifully broken, and has an amazing heart. He was perfect. I loved every single thing about him, even the broken parts. He thinks he is damaged beyond repair, but Daisy shows him what a loving touch can feel like.
“Everywhere, Daze. Touch me everywhere,”
“I’m going to need you to touch me everywhere. Erase it all for me, Daze.”
Daisy is the Sheriff's daughter and the perfect prom queen. She is basically the complete opposite of Kye. I liked Daisy, but there were things that she did that frustrated me. I had to keep reminding myself that she was a 21 year old sheltered girl who had basically had her life handed to her on a silver platter. The journey that she goes on to find her voice is hard, but in the end, I was proud of her! What SHOCKED me the most was Daisy's mouth! Who knew behind the good girl act she was such a dirty talker. I loved that the roles were reversed here.
“Who would have thought my little Daisy flower was fucking dirtier and hornier than me? No one would have ever guessed.”
What I didn't realize going into this book was the 2nd Chance romance and a 6 year time jump. When I read "6 years later" I immediately freaked out, sat my Kindle down and slide into Kate's dms 🤣 I trusted her process and it was 100% the right thing for journey back to one another. The growth and progress that both of them had made was obvious. I would say Kye more than Daisy, but on Daisy's side, her responsibilities were greater. I think Daisy had to realize how the people around her treated her. I sympathized a lot with her because I am also a people pleaser... to a fault sometimes. It is very hard to break that cycle. She had to learn how to say no and stick up for the people she loves.
Catching up with the crew is always great! I love that they would do absolutely anything for one another. I wish we all had a group of friends like that. Seeing everyone after the time jump was everything I didn't know I needed. It was like a family reunion. Seeing everyone with their little families and seeing how far they have come was awesome. (I'm tearing up right now because I love them all so much!)
There is so much more that I want to talk about, but I don't want to spoil it for everyone. Just know that I absolutely LOVED how Kye and Daisy came back together and how understanding he was. Fate was indeed not reckless bringing these 2 people together.
For years, I cursed fate. I cursed the entire world for what it had given me in life, but now I knew better. It wasn’t reckless. It knew all along what I needed. And what I needed, what I would always need, was Daisy.
I'm sorry this review is so long. I loved this book! It was the perfect ending to The Hollows Garage series. If you haven't started this series yet, what are you waiting for?! Immediately add it to your tbr. This is the best book of the series and it was also the spiciest in my opinion.
*Thank you to Kate Crew and Luna Literacy for the E-ARC. This review is my honest opinion*
Below are some of my favorite quotes. Some may be SPOILERS so read at your own risk
"It’s not my fault if I wave a red flag and you get turned on.”
I didn’t know what she was doing that could suddenly make me feel like I was on fire but being drowned at the same time.
I didn’t like to be touched, and I didn’t care to have sex, so what the fuck was going on now?
A secretly happy, cute, and kind Kye seemed more dangerous than the reckless one.
My mind that usually raced had been quiet, and as much as I liked to go out for late night drives, I was starting to think I liked going out on a drive with her more.
Knowing Kye was feral was one thing. Seeing it in action was another.
“Do you want me to touch you more or keep our distance still?” “No, I want you to touch me until it hurts again,”
“They can see. I spent years with my pain on display to the world and they didn’t care. Why can’t I show my pleasure?”
“Kye, what are you doing? You can’t just go hit him.” “I’m not.” “Then what are you doing?” Scout yelled. “Following them.” “You can’t stalk her,” Carly said. “Like fuck I can’t.”
I can’t believe you thought we were done for good. That I wasn’t yours anymore, and you weren’t mine. Is that really what you wanted?” he asked, the angry edge to his tone matching his frantic pace now. “No,” I mumbled, losing myself to him. “Good. I’ll send you back to him with my cum running down your legs. Then there’s no mistake that you’re mine.”
“I think you have some issues.” “I do. I’m currently trying to work on them but it is a very long list and I can only do one thing at a time.”
I wrapped my hand around his neck, letting the tips of my nails dig into his skin. He leaned into it, pushing harder against my hand and making my nails dig in even more. “I have never wanted to die at someone’s touch, but that’s exactly what you make me feel.”
“As much as I would like to hang out, I still have to work, and I suggest you two move along home because the women inside are deciding who gets to be in line first to have your babies.” His eyebrows shot up, looking around me to the diner. I didn’t even need to turn back to know that the group of women was still looking out here. “Where does the line start?” he asked. “I’m assuming they would have to trip over each other to line up in front of you wherever, but I’m not sure of the rules.” He rolled over on the dirtbike until he was right in front of me. “Well, look at that, Daze. Looks like you’re first,” he said, smiling up at the women with a wave. They waved back, and I turned to him. “Funny.” “Do you come home with me now to get that done? Or just go behind the building? I can try to make it romantic either way, or go get a milkshake if you feel like getting wild.” His eyebrows jumped, and he smiled. Well, damn. Younger Kye was hot. All the reckless, unruly energy he had, the way he had been so obsessed with me. Grown Kye was worse, though. That same recklessness was there, but now he was a little more free somehow. Funnier, sweeter, caring. Calmer in a dangerous way.
“You’re… touching a lot of me.” “Yeah.” “I never understood why you were fine with me.” “I guess we all get a soulmate, right?” My
It was the moment that I knew that my heart was like one of those damn fucking necklaces. There are two pieces, and I need yours to make me feel like I actually have one. Every time I see one of those things, I think of you, wondering why I couldn’t have been given my own damn heart; I had to share it with someone else.” He pulled me closer, kissing me hard. “You are the most romantic person, but somehow make every part sound painful,” I said. “Six years, Daisy, six fucking years without you. It has been painful. Every moment has been painful.”
“I won’t deny you a fucking thing, Daisy. You want to skip the foreplay and sink onto my cock, done. If you want hours of my mouth tasting and teasing you, done. Anything you want, Daze. I’ll give you fucking anything.”
“And you really went six years without anyone else?” “There is no one else. I don’t look at anyone else and want them. I don’t think about them like this. I decided I would rather go the rest of my life alone than deal with the agony of someone else.” I
He groaned. “Come on, tell me down, boy. Let me clean up the mess I’ve made.”
The only woman I’m ever going to touch and fuck, and you love owning me.”
“That since the day I’ve met you, no other woman has touched my cock, let alone sucked it.” I pulled back. “How? How have you not been with anyone else?” His hands hooked under my arms and he dragged me up, turning me to face the windows overlooking the track as we walked to them. “Because it’s not about the sex. It never was.” He pushed me forward until my head was resting against the window as he pulled my dress up, gathering it at my hips. “It’s not the sex I need, it’s you.”
There was never a point in my life after I met you that loving you was called into question for me. I knew I was just too fucked up to deserve to be in your life.
I did not expect this to be a second chance romance and it just had me all in my feels 🥹 I did not want this book to end and had such a hard time putting it down.
I’m really wishing I lived in a small town with a bad boy like Kye because WOW. 🥵 The tattoos… nose piercing… and blonde hair (Drooling 🤤). His character is one that I connected with instantly and I absolutely loved his protectiveness for the people in his life. Daisy and him had the funniest banter with each other and I loved reading the text threads from one another.
I was shocked when reading the dirty mouth Daisy has 🫢 The scene with the milkshake… and the haunted house 🔥🔥🔥🔥

READ THIS BOOK!!
Thank you Kate for the ARC, this book will be one I never forget! ❤️
Daisy kisses resident bad boy, Kye, to get back at her ex boyfriend. Kye needed to clean up his bad boy image to get his dream job. They decide that they will keep up appearances of dating to get what they both need. They start to find that they may in fact enjoy each other’s company more than they originally planned. Kye always felt pain when being touched because of his traumatic past and Daisy seems to be the exception to that rule.
💛 Town Bad Boy x Sheriff's Daughter 💛 Found Family 💛 Fake Dating 💛 MMC Who Hates Being Touched 💛 “It's always been you" 💛 Second Chance 💛 Suspense
I loved Kye and Daisy’s story line. Their fake to real dating moved well and kept you rooting for them. I loved Kye and eventually Daisy’s found family, the crew. I didn’t realize this was a second chance when starting it, but I loved the way it turned out. I was so mad for Kye and Daisy post her father’s interference. Kye’s interactions with Bailey, were adorable and I could read a full book just about those two. I wish I would have read the other books first, but I will definitely head back to the beginning to read the other couples stories!
Do you have your safety harness on? You’re gonna need it.
The JOURNEY Kate, Kye and Daisy take you on is an insane one. The emotional trip Kate takes you on in her book Reckless Fate is aptly described to coincide with the title as RECKLESS. Every time I thought I had this story figured out for an ending or what would happen next, BOOM, I was wrong, plot twist! The twists and turns in this book rival Kye’s driving skills. HOT DAMN! I was truly transported with this book into the world of Hollows Garage and that is exactly what I asked for. Kate delivered in writing this story, the SPICE, the chemistry, the complicated dynamics, THE HEARTBREAK!! We NEED to talk about how chapters 30-32 absolutely EVISCERATED my heart. I’ve never had my heart plucked from me and shredded to bits quite like this. The pain in those chapters with all of the characters is so palpable it legitimately jumps off of the page. However, by the end of this mountainous emotionally tumultuous ride your heart is neatly pieced back together and if you’re anything like me you want to experience Kye and Daisy’s epic love story all over again 🩵
*I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review*
Releases July 16th!
Reading the final book in the Hollows Garage series felt so bittersweet yet happy, this book follows Kye and Daisy. Both opposites who somehow find peace and chaos within each other. Their romance felt messy yet meaningful, and had some shocking twists.
Kye's such an interesting character, he hates being touched due to childhood traumas, but when Daisy suddenly appears in his life in a whirlwind of embraces and fake dating, he suddenly realises she's the only one who make make physical contact feel good. I enjoyed Daisy's character, she's a good girl but she's controlled by her people pleasing tendencies and letting other people dictate her life. I didn't relate to her much, but found her a good equal for Kye nonetheless, especially with his almost feral personality.
The pacing at first did feel a little slow for me, but around sixty percent into the book the plot took a completely unexpected turn, I literally gasped from shock. We then get a big time skip, where we get to see all of the familiar faces of the crew now settled and happy. I adored seeing their lives and how far they've all come, especially in terms of marriage and kids!
The second half of the book is much faster paced, with Kye and Daisy finally getting their second chance. The plot was fairly straightforward and focused on the romance, the spice was amazingly written as always, and overall the book ended with a super sweet HEA for everyone.
This was the perfect finale for the series, and I'm so sad that it's over, but I can't wait for the next series to begin!
♾️ stars! Oh, the way that I loved this book. I’ve been so ready to read Kye’s love story for week, and Kate DE-frickin-LIVERED.
I want to read this on a loop. Oh, I felt all the feels. Love, butterflies, fireworks, ANXIETY, so much stress. Heartache. All of it. That is the mark of a truly wonderful novel I. My opinion and this one just crushed me.
What a bittersweet way to end Hallows Garage series. I loved Kye and Daisys story. I already loved Kye from past books but to see him end up happy just made my heart happy. The crew is still one of my faves. I love this series and recommend it to everyone that will listen.
ARC Review! 4.5/5! Spice 2.5/5! For fans of the series you WILL love this book. It’s a perfect ending. There was everything I want in a book romance, suspense and all my favorite tropes.
Kye is officially my favorite in the crew. I loved seeing Kyle’s full personality. Daisy was a different type of MFC. The best part for me was the jump to future. I WISH all books had this. I LOVED seeing the growth in the characters.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
A big old thank you to Kate Crew and her team for the opportunity to read this before release day. Holy HECK it did not disappointment! If you love this series, you will LOVE this book. It is a solid 4/5 for me. It is an amazing ending to this series and the plot twist came out of nowhere.
Spoilers Below
Lets talk about my favorite part, the characters. Kye has to be one of my favorite of the crew. I have been waiting and waiting for his book. I loved seeing the growth from beginning to end! He really evolved as a character and I think this story really did him justice. I also LOVE an absolutely obsessed and whipped man. Daisy had me in the first half of the book. I loved how she found herself and was obviously falling in love with Kye. But the plot twist in the middle and the addition of a kid in her life felt like a disservice. She had so much going for her and I absolutely do not buy that she adopted this kid and then just went no where. She grew so much in the first half with Kye that seeing her revert back in the second half was disheartening. The rest of the crew was amazing as always.
The PLOT. Holy crap was that unexpected. We basically get two plots in the book. The first half when they are in college and falling in love with the twist of the ex boyfriend and kye. Then the second half years later with a psychotic ex again. I liked seeing the same plot play out twice and having Daisy learn her lesson from the first time. I had a bit of an issue with the kid. It felt unneeded that Daisy adopted her niece. It isn't my favorite trope which is the singular reason its a 4/5 stars for me.
And finally, the smut. Kate Crew has never disappointed when it comes to smut. I especially love the smut in this book for two reasons. One: the growth and Two: the communication. The two definitely go hand in hand. I loved that with Kyes thing about touching, the two of them went slow and really had to learn about each other along the way. Which leads to some amazing communication about their relationship but also about their smutty interactions along the way. This book had some of the best smut in the whole series.
Overall, I loved this book and I love this series. It has cured my reading slump more then a few times now. I recommend it to everyone I can. If you like obsessed men, badass women, and some amazing smut; this is the series for you. I can not wait to see what else Kate Crew has in store for us.
“It was the moment that I knew that my heart was like one of those damn fucking necklaces. There are two pieces, and I need yours to make me feel like I actually have one. Every time I see one of those things, I think of you, wondering why I couldn’t have been given my own damn heart; I had to share it with someone else.” — Rating: 4.75 ✨ Smut: 🌶️🌶️ — What a beautiful ending to the Hollows Garage series. I had only read book 1 before eating up Kye & Daisy’s book, but I am deeply in love with this crew.
As soon as I saw that the MMC of this book doesn’t like being touched, I knew I HAD to read this. So, where do I even start with these two..Daisy and Kye’s relationship wasn’t perfect, but i think that made me like them even more. I definitely gravitate towards relationships in novels that feel raw & imperfect. Ones that I feel like I’d actually see in real life & not just idealized ones that feel unattainably cute. Daisy & Kye were all of that and more.
Daisy is a perpetual people pleaser & Kye is the bad boy from the wrong side of the tracks. What starts off as a fake dating scheme turns into a romance that will have you feeling ALL of the emotions.
I wasn’t expecting the twists that we got from this book but wow am I ever happy we got them. Kate Crew had me on the edge of my seat as of the 55% mark. Even when my eyes were closing and I desperately needed sleep, I didn’t want to put this book down.
I needed a bit more out of Daisy’s character arc and I wasn’t always a fan of how she treated Kye, especially in their fake dating stage. BUT not even those things could make me dock a whole star rating because I loved this read too much.
Overall, if you love: 🏁 Hurt x comfort 🏁 Dirty talking FMC 🏁 MMC who hates being touched by anyone but her 🏁 Boy obsessed 🏁 It’s always been you 🏁 Elements of suspense 🏁 Second chance romance 🏁 Texting & irl banter
Then this one is for you, but i think it’ll be for everyone, it’s THAT good 🥹
Thank you to Luna Literary Management and Kate Crew for trusting me with this arc♥️
First things first, thank you to the Luna Literary team for the chance to be an ARC reader for this epic fifth/final installment of the Hollows Garage series.

I'm currently crying over the rollercoaster of emotions this book made me feel. The twists and turns of the story jerked me around to no end, and left me a helpless mess on the floor. This book has been one of my highly anticipated reads for the year and it lived up to the hype. I'm typically a slow burn lover but this story made me rethink that. KYE 🫠 melted me into a puddle. I was kicking my feet in the air through the whole thing expect when I was sobbing. So many things were unexpected through this book and damn I couldn't put it down. I wish I could re-read it all over again for the first time because I'm not ready for this series to end. I couldn't imagine a happier ending for Kye and Daisy, or the rest of the crew, it was perfect. 🩵
If you're not convinced to read it yet, then let's talk about the tropes: town bad boy, found family, fake dating, sheriff's daughter, MMC hates touch(unless it's her), second chance, touch her and ☠️
Still not convinced? -dirty talking FMC -banter/angst to the max -respectful MMC -micro-tropes: it's always been you, public 🌶️, possessive/borderline obsessed,
Give it a shot, you won't be disappointed. I sure wasn't.
Tropes: ❣️Second Chance 😏Fake Dating 💞Found Family ❤️🔥"It's Always Been You" 😱Suspense 🥺He can only be touched by her 🚔Town Bad Boy x Sheriff's Daughter
Review: Excuse me while I collect my emotions🫠 I just spent a day non stop reading and I feel I have lived within the world and lived alongside these characters! I have been hijacked by some amazing writing ya'll, holy geez!
So we have the blonde, blue eyed, tattooed, car racer Kye and the town prom queen, good girl, Daisy (also daughter of the Sheriff). A break up with a cheating boyfriend has her ambush Kye into being her fake boyfriend so that she can intimidate her ex and win favor back with her circle and Kye decides a mutual opportunity for him is available with Daisy, as she can help his image look more presentable for his upcoming racing career.
What happens along the way is an inticately messy array of human emotions as they begin to have playful banter and surprise one another by seeing who they truly are behind the facades they either present or by the ones that others push upon them. Their increasing playfulness was so sweet and heart tugging to watch. But forces come into play that tears Kye apart from Daisy and their second chance at love in the second half of the book is just as riveting! I was not prepared for that and it had me gasping!
I cannot say enough praise about how these two are written. I feel their pain in my bones, their grief in my heart, especially Kye. His devotion to Daisy, his struggle with his skin crawling fear of being touched by others, his unabashed honesty, his fierce loyalty. I want to melt myself against his chiseled tatooed chest and hold him tightly to comfort him from his pain and fears.
Daisy is just as complex, trying to come to terms with the soft hearted yet at times feral blue eyed conundrum that is Kye. Their history runs deep and their chemistry is seismic! This was hands down a favorite read of mine and couple! Kye is at the top of a short list of boyfriends for me🫠
Okay so WHERE DO I EVEN START WITH THIS??? Firstly thank you so much Kate and team for this ARC because this is one of if not the best romance I’ve read this year? I need to read the four previous books because I can’t believe this was the last? I don’t want to spoil this book for anyone. I absolutely loved the characters, one thing I will say is I wish we understood a bit more of Kyes trauma rather than just an overview of why he was how he was but maybe that came from previous books I hadn’t read? This was my first book from Kate but I kinda need to read all of them because the way she writes I had no chance of anything other than LOVING this book.
I feel like Daisy isn’t your usual “prom queen good girl” like she had confidence to go up and just kiss the bad boy? Beg for him in chapters, I actually feel she was more complicated than most FMCs I have read about. I related to her in the wanting friends and being dealt the really shit ones but wanting to still fit in - and her dad? She was such a relatable character. Kye honestly?????? Even I fell hard for this character. I thought it was going to be “a bad boy who’s only good for me” kinda plot but I feel the only person good to Daisy in the entire story was Kye and his crew. Her dad was awful? Her friends and ex boyfriend? Even the boyfriend she had in adulthood was awful? (PS if you’re a touch her and die trope girly this book IS for you) I read this in a DAY!
Okay one more irk - SIX YEARS? Why six years I read that I thought I was about to be heartbroken there was no going back (I struggle with “second chance” tropes so I was PANICKING!!) but it was perfect, the paragraphs kye spoke about loving Daisy? I was actually crying how is he so perfect. The love for Bailey, the love all the crew had with eachother? I wish I had amnesia so I could reread this book for the first time. I loved it!
I was kindly provided with this book (censorship is BS and I hate it but here we are!)
I think its time I go reread this series in full!
The plot - This is a good girl X bad boy romance with second chance, found family, single mom. A lot of triggers so CHECK YA FUCKIN TRIGGERS PEOPLE. Smut was like 2.5/5 on the spice scale. FUCKIN WOW. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. NO NOTES. That’s how I’d sum up this book. It was everything. The plot line was incredible, the angst and the hurt comfort, the timeline, the steamy tension… it was all perfect. Truly perfect.
The MC - Daisy is our sweet perfect girl, who isn’t actually all sweet and nice, and is lowkey kinda fiercely loyal and protective. Adore that about her.
The male counterpart - Kye is our ‘wrong side of the tracks’ MMC who will fight a man for looking at his girl wrong. I’m a sucker for men like him, and he didn’t disappoint!
This was the perfect ending to the series. No other series has consumed my thoughts as much as this one has. Kate was a new to me author back in February when I first read Heart Wrenched. And I finished the first 3 books just in time to receive an ARC for Love Collided and the Reckless Fate.
I am so happy we got Kye's story last as he is the youngest and most complicated character in this series. And his journey was both uplifting and soul crushing.
As we know from the other books, Kye has had a very hard upbringing, to the point where he can't stand physical touch from anyone outside of the crew. And even then, it is limited. Kye is the bad boy of the group, constantly getting into fights and causing mayhem around the town. Enter Daisy, the Sheriff's daughter. Daisy is the town good girl and a people pleaser, always doing what is expected of her.
Until one evening, she finds herself in a bit of trouble. Kye happens to be in the right place when Daisy needs help. Wanting her ex to leave her alone, she approaches Kye, tells him to play along and kisses him. For the first time in his life, Kye is confused because Daisy's touch doesn't repulse him or bring him pain. While Kye is struggling with this new development, both of their reputations are on the line, so they agree to fake date to help each other out. The more time they spend together, the more difficult it is to stay away from each other. However, fate doesn't always work out the way you hope it will.....
Kye and Daisy will forever be my favourite couple in this series. Kate did such a wonderful job telling their story and I can't believe Hollows Garage has officially come to an end.
Thank you again to Kate Crew and Luna Literary Management for the ARC.

First I wanna say thank you to Kate Crew and Luna Literary Management for giving me the opportunity to be an ARC reader for this beauty<3.
Kye Baker- The town's bad boy, who hates to be touched, loves to cause chaos and race. Finds himself in a fake relationship with the sheriff's daughter, Daisy Wells, to prove that he can clean up his act. Daisy Wells - Sheriff's daughter and towns people pleaser, Enlists town's bad boy, Kye Baker, for help to get back at her ex-boyfriend and try to restore her popularity and friendships.
Absolutely LOVE this book. It had me laughing, holding my breath, and blushing. Kye has had me hooked from the very first book in the series, Heart Wrenched. So getting to know the in’s and out’s on what makes him.. well him is heartbreaking. Throughout the book Kye shows Daisy how true friendships are, and to live her life the way she wants it. While Daisy shows Kye that he is not broken, and that he deserves love too. While they've hit a few shocking bumpy roads their love never wavered for one another. The ending was absolutely perfect. I can't believe this is the last of the hollows garage series. Definitely gonna miss the crew😭

Idk how this book has so many good reviews? The FMC literally has 2 braincells, and zeroo, and i mean zerooooo depth? I mean we don’t even know what miss girl was studying at college ???? Her personality is basically being a people pleaser, and not being able to just ask Kye, “hey man, do you like me?” Also?? She doesn’t even like her daughter??? She also makes everything about her, this man just shared his trauma with you and still you doubt how he feels about you like 5 times?????????? He has told you multiple times he won’t let anyone touch him, but you STILL think he is sleeping around with people any chance you get? Girl be so fucking for real right now.
This book frustrated me to no end. The writing was bland, the plot allll over the fucking place?? FMC pisses me off. The only reason this book got one star is because Kye is a sweetheart and deserved someone much better. We need authors to start writing strong FMC with a developed characteristic set. This was so disappointing.
Kai is the bad boy street racer who couldn't care less what other people think of him. Daisy is the good girl sheriff's daughter who aims to please and just wants everyone to like her.
After having issues with her so called friends and breaking up with her dirtbag boyfriend, Daisy finds herself wanting to make her ex jealous while getting back into her friend group. When she runs into Kye at a party, she decides he would be perfect for the job.
Kye's dream is to race professionally. To do so, he needs to prove that he's getting his life together and to stop getting into so much trouble all the time. He has absolutely no idea how he can prove any more than he is at the moment that he truly wants this.
He doesn't expect Daisy to approach him or touch him. But what he really doesn't expect is that he doesn't hate it. He plays along with Daisy's plan because at the end of the day, what better way to prove that he's changing than dating the sheriff's daughter?
I said from the start that Kye would be my favourite and I was not wrong 🥹 This beautiful, broken boy teaches Daisy how she should be treated. He shows her what a real, genuine friend group looks like (I loved reading about the rest of the crew throughout to book), and he puts her well being above his own, no matter the cost 😭
Daisy starts off wanting to please everyone around her. I loved her growth throughout the book, where she really starts to hold her ground and chose herself instead of what other people want for her (her dad is a dick).
I could go on forever, but there are things that I don't want to spoil so I'm going to leave it at that. Kate really pulled on the hearts strings for while there, but it was so worth it in the end 😍
I loved this book so much! Definitely my favorite in the series. There was action and buildups as well as a little mystery. I absolutely loved Kye and Daisy and how she was the only one who could touch him. I loved that he was willing to protect her even with her father hating him and making life miserable for him. I loved that Daisy was accepted by the girls and how all their kids were best friends.
I killed this book SO FAST! As much as Daisy really pissed me off most of the book, this was the perfect way to end the Hollows Garage series. The way Daisy acted actually almost made me rate it a 4 star, but just Kye himself has me rating it a 5. I swooned over Kye so much. And for him to just instantly love Bailey and be able to interact with her so easily made my heart MELT!
I am so sad this series is over (I may have cried even), but I am so happy that I found it.

I AM SOBBINGGGG. I cannot believe this series is over. I feel like each one of these characters became my friend. There couldn’t have been a better relationship or way to end this book other than daisy and kye. They hold such a special place in my heart
This was such a sweet story and I loved it so much. I wasn’t expecting a time jump but I do love a good “it’s always been you” after a long time apart. This story is so delicious and hits all the feels. Kye is a bad boy and can’t stand to be touched after his traumatic childhood. Daisy is the sheriff’s daughter and perfect prom queen/sorority girl. She finds herself looking for a quick way to secure her spot back in the “in” crowd after her boyfriend cheats on her with her sorority sister but then demands she take him back.
Can be read as a standalone (I’ve not read the first four) but recommend reading its predecessors to know the characters better.
I received this as an ARC and it drops on the 16th! Don’t miss this! The best love story 🥹🥹 follow @authorkatecrew to stay on top of updates!!
