I showed our fathers who the real leader of this group was, who could weather any storm.
I found Lex, the last of our lost faction, and brought him into the fold to make us whole.
Secrets were exposed, lies shattered, and in the end, we defeated our enemies, together.
Now, I get to live my life bloody happy with my newfound mates, right? I should’ve known it wasn’t going to be that easy.
What happens when you have six headstrong, opinionated, and deadly individuals left to rule the criminal underground? Individuals that have had only months to get used to each other. Could we ever find our true happily ever after?
Will we ever tame our crazy dads? What about that promise to birth the next generation of Syndicate leaders? Don’t think I forgot about that little detail…
All I know is there’s still a lot for us to do to become unstoppable, but we will, because the Syndicate always prevails.
This is a collection of three novellas that continue to follow Rayla and her men. You will get to see some inner workings, backstories, and get a more complete ending to their story. These should be read after Syndicate Princess and Syndicate Queen. Make sure to strap in for a ride and watch out for those pesky dad’s and their conniving ways.
We wanted more and we got more! Loved it! I was so happy that we got a follow up story of Rayla and her men. It was as good as the last two books - great bloody and sexy scenes. ;-) At first its a little bit ruff between Rayla and her harem and they have to work on their relationships, but that makes it even more "real", if you know what I mean. It's not always sunshine and rainbows in a relationship and I like that the author put that in the story.
I really enjoyed these wrap up novellas; its sweet and spicy and a great swan song for these characters. I loved the first two stories where Rayla and her guys were navigating their new relationship and learning how to become a real family once the dust settles after the events of book two in the series. They are all such strong characters and a little bit of forced proximity in story one worked really well as a novella likewise in the second where they work together for a common Rayla related goal. However, book three is the one for me. Syris has been my absolute favourite character since I met him (along with Falcon whose character development just made me swoon) and this novella had me in absolute stitches. He is just hilarious and his backstory with Ternin was so bittersweet. The fact that the final POV was from Lex too who was always on the outside looking in was just the perfect send off in this HEA.
My interpretation of the star system; 3 stars - I enjoyed it; would read the author again 4 stars - I really liked it; I am invested and definitely want more from this author/series 5 stars - I loved it; I engaged with this book completely until I finished it and it is one I will re-read
Ughhhhhh. I don’t even know where to begin. I have been obsessed with this Rayla and her chaos crew since the beginning. Book 1 lived rent free in my brain. And if we’re being honest it still does. Book 2 just amped but my obsession by tenfold. Now this. This just wraps everything up with a pretty little bow on top. Rayla is in my top 5 girl crushes for female main characters and she won’t be going anywhere anytime soon. I genuinely loved these novellas. I laughed so dang hard at her antics and her commentary. I fell in love with each of her men even more. Lex will always and forever have a special place in my heart, I mean come on… with his obsessive love and thoughts like this…..
I was such a psycho that I wanted to melt myself into her, her skin soaking me up to be a part of her, never being free of me as we settled in together forever
…..How could you not love him.
I loved getting to be back in their world. Reading about how the years have been for them. I am so excited to get to read more from this world and the future that will come. I genuinely love Kira’s work and this book just adds to my love.
Don't let Kira fool you, Syndicate Mayhem may be a set of novellas but have no doubt that this is a full-length book. Full of steam, violence, and of course mayhem. It was a great time.
Rayla Desmond is back, starting fights and taking names (so she can kill them later). Ray was her usual fabulous self, it was the boys whose personalities all hung out in this one. I like learning more about their pasts and them as individuals.
I love a good Paranormal Mafia story, The Syndicate Duet was my jam. I love that we get to revisit this world. Things aren't what I pictured with Rayla and the guys but what else would I expect when they all have such strong personalities but Rayla is determined which means chaos is bound to happen after all what's a little revenge, torture, and a couple of hunting parties, haha.
Hands down the best part is still the dads. I love those guys, they get up to so much, they're the personification of chaos. It's never a dull moment, they are hilarious and their scenes were always some of my favorites and it's still true.
First, I wanna say how excited I was to hear from Rayla and her men again! These novellas didn't disappoint. They will have all of your attention! There was no shortage of excitement, spice, humor, and action!!
"That's It! Team Builder Time!" How about an escape room, syndicate style?! In this story, Rayla's mates must work together to get out. They are still learning to become a unit or family. The banter between the guys cracked me up.
"Savage Christmas wishes do come true!" The guys work together to give Rayla, the best early Christmas present. There was one heck of a scavenger hunt! Filled with a little crazy, humor, and spice. Plus, her mates give her some great gifts!!
"This is all your fault!" Rayla gets an unexpected surprise in this story! I felt like we got to see a new side to her and her mates. I enjoyed the banter between them all and how fierce and protective they were of Rayla.
I absolutely loved the ending and I'm so glad it was told from Lex's POV!!
Loved it, I laughed and sighed and smirked and fanned myself!
This is going into my favourites and makes me miss these characters even more. Especially with multiple POVs I am attached to them, even if some of their traits annoy me, it made them more relatable...well not the Mafia killing bit, but the makeup of their backstory, current situation and their growth through this big moment of finding their mate ♡
Learnt new things about the characters, understood more about the world they live in, and watched them find their way into a solid crazy dangerous, blood and or smex thirsty RH.
I wished for more! The wedding? Rick? and more stories with them dominating as the new leaders of the Syndicate. A great sign of a good read is wanting more! So that's not a bad thing, I'm just greedy🤭 I loved seeing these life-changing moments in their relationship and their HEA. It was just precious and hot!!! Oh, the fun they had 🤭😉😏😍
Holy shit! Why weren’t the other 2 books written like this?!? So good!!! Honestly one of the best books I’ve read in awhile. It was funny, lighthearted and full of love between all of them and how they grow as a family.
I loved the treasure hunt/hunting present they guys set up for her. Damn that shit was hooottttttt. I loved when Ax’s wolf took over lol the treasure chest of dicks, fuck I love Lex- only he would think of drugging the guys to make molds of their dicks lololol
I loved the Escape Room part and hearing all the guys bond and discover their own traumas.
The finale section with the kids! Ah! So good. I loved seeing them all come together with the kids and seeing how they got mixes of all of them. How they navigated the syndicate and being parents was super fun to read.
The dads stole the scene again, especially with the grandkids! I wish it had more POV in this
OMG 😱 Kira Stanley out done herself with another great book. Rayla and her man was together again it was so deep and romantic dark. I absolutely loved it. It was addicted and it was a page turner and the suspense was intense. I was on the edge of my seat and I couldn’t put it down. It was action packed of romance and pain of passion and it was incredible. Getting to the final chapter it was marvelous and breathtaking of mind blowing at the end with these two characters but it going to surprise you with it be a happily ever after????? I definitely recommend this book and you won’t regret reading it. I received advance copy of this book via Bookfunnel and am voluntarily leaving my honest opinion. Trina Jones
Words can’t explain how stoked I was to find out there was going to a book of Novellas for my favorite Syndicate! Rayla and her men are just amazing and after the series was over I was left thinking about them all the time. And this book of novellas gave an amazing peek into their world and how everything has been since they got together. I loved that in this book all the characters stayed true to themselves and that they didn’t just all start loving having to share. Raylas plan to get them to work together was awesome and maybe my favorite story of the bunch. Not to say they all weren’t amazing because all of the stories are. And the Dads are comedic gold. If you read the Syndicate Mafia Duet this is a must read!
This brings us back to Rayla and the dark males who follow her. It’s a good callback to these characters and offers an understanding of “what comes after happily ever after”. If you’re a fan of detailed epilogues, this is a great compilation for you because it offers great insight into the thoughts and lives of these strong personalities as they learn how to live and love with one another. It stays true to the characters and offers additional development regarding their pasts and how it affects their presents.
It is deliciously dark and I would remind readers to be aware of the content warnings.
Welcome back to the Syndicate. I’m sure you’ll be glad you came.
First of all can I say I was SOOOO beyond excited to get more from Rayla and her men!! And to get more of my book boyfriend Lex (fanning myself) I was thrilled! This did not disappoint!! This is 3 novellas in one and each and everyone was amazing!!! My girl Lexi does not let us down! There is so much to love with this book! There is love, smexy times, humor, and meyhem!!! If you loved the duet (or if you haven't read them you should!!) And that ending!!! Soooo much I loved about it!! And the fact that it was Lex!! I really hope that we get to see more from Rayla and her men and maybe even some kiddos stories!! Once again this is a must read that won't disappoint!!!
I’m glad we got more of Rayla and her men. You get to see how their life goes after taking out the bad guys. After saving the syndicate. They have to get used to being all together. The guys are having a hard time getting along. All the dads are off doing their own thing now. Rayla and the guys run the show now. Rayla sets up a bonding session for the guys. Will it help them get along or will it make things worse? You get to know the characters better in this one. More in-depth knowledge on the characters and their lives before Rayla. The dads are still up to no good. Read this one last. I like how the ending was set up for possibly more books.
I enjoyed how short these were. The first was mainly of the guys point of view. It got a bit tedious with all the snipes and jabs but it worked out. The second novella was focused more on the sexually side of their relationship rather than an actual plot. I skipped a ton of pages in that one. It got boring and I almost didn’t finish this the rest of the book, but I’m glad I did. I kinda figured the last book would be what was talked about so often from one of the side characters. It was a beautiful conclusion, and really turned how I felt about the previous 2 in this book into a 4 stars. Loved seeing them all get their happy ever after.
I loved the original series and was so glad to hear that there would be more. The first story is an escape room with the guys who may love Rayla but not each other and Rayla has had enough of their bickering so she sends them to an escape room where they have to learn to work together and find each others strengths and appreciate them. The 2nd is everyone’s first Christmas together and everyone has to give each other gifts. The third I’ll leave you to find out for yourself but it introduces some new characters who will also hopefully have books one day.
Fantastic extra scenes on these brilliant characters - so much more fun and heat!
SPOILER: My fave was the escape room, but I also like that Lex gets to lead some of the comeback, and the men are finally fully on each other's side, with less tension and animosity. Feels more like the happy ever after I wanted from the original duet, with the same hijinks and competitive men but more about the unit as a whole. Less need for the complex plot of the first duet.
So happy the author gave us more of this group! Huge thanks to Kira Stanley!
Mayhem is the best way to describe Rayla and her guys. I was surprised and excited to read these three novellas. I enjoyed seeing Rayla navigate this new normal after the dust settled from the events of the first 2 books. It isn't smooth sailing, everyone needs to learn to share and work together. I love a good epilogue, seeing our mc's actively working on their happily ever after is always a joy.
If you loved Syndicate Princess and Syndicate Queen and want more of Rayla and her men, this is the book for you. Well it is actually three novellas in one book. In the first everyone gets closer, in the second everyone gets presents and in the third everyone gets babies. There are spicy scenes throughout along with the humor, violence and love we have come to expect from this group. Cannot wait till 2025!!!
This is exactly what the duet needed. After the main ending, I was still left wanting. It felt like the relationship the mmcs had with each other was nonexistent unless it involved Rayla so it was nice to finally see them becoming a family.
Loved the antics in this novella and 100% recommend reading if you want a little more time with these characters and an ending that left me actually satisfied
Hilarious and a great slice of life side to the story Reading the Syndicate duet was a whirlwind of love, chaos, fighting, learning, and so much more. These characters really take you for a ride. Getting to read these little novellas that provide a slice of life, an inside look at some of their everyday goings on, is always a nice additional touch. I always get a huge kick out of the dads and can't wait for more from them!
Various novellas that take place after Syndicate Queen. We get to see more of how the MMCs work together, or learn to. In the main series, we don’t really see them bond or function as a team without Rayla, so I loved getting that here. The last novella was my favorite, especially seeing the family they’ve built together and how they love all their kids equally. I also liked how each of their biological kids connected more with another dad through shared interests.
This was so perfect! I’m so glad Kira Stanley gave us more of the “after” for our Syndicate crew. It was so fun getting to read these three novellas and see what life was like after for Rayla and her mates. Each story was such a brilliant sneak peek into their lives now, together, as a family and the devotion and love they have for one another. This was just such a great read!
This series is like totally amazing, I am Highly addicted to this series. I love the plot, I love the storyline, I love the characters I love everything about it. I love how easy it was for me to quickly become enthralled with just just the first page. I literally couldn’t put it down, can’t wait to read more from this author.
These provide more POVs from Rayla's mates in less tumultuous scenarios. Their perspectives, especially on how to start working with each other and how to handle her hormones gave me some giggles!
The last little bit, from Lex's POV about family warmed my heart. A nice wrap up to the paranormal dark from the rest of the series.
Another book with these guys?! Hell yes! This was one of the best yet! Another hit out of the park! I can never say no to the Syndicate's! It was interesting seeing the dynamic of them all living together and moving past the mate period and into normal lives. It was wrapped up quite well and I am always team Rayla!
I sooooo don't want this to end. These characters, their children and fathers, are just the best!!! I really, really, really want more! I am devastated to be finished. This series could have had 20 books, and I would have devoured them happily. It's one of my all-time favourites, that's for sure. Pretty please write some more. I will love you forever 🤣
This series is everything! Kira Stanley has me obsessed with this series. As we follow Rayla and her delectable men you find yourself shaking your head at her antics and sometimes just outright laughing. Don’t miss this one readers. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
This series was perfectly filthy! Dark depraved mafia paranormal why choose! It has everything you could want....and some you didn't know you needed. These are fantastic short stories about Reyla and her men during their happily ever after.
It's always great to get a little more of characters you already love. This is everything you would expect from Rayla and her guys. I'm thankful to the author forgiving me one more reason to jump back into this beautifully crazy world.
Rayla and her mates kept me totally engaged. I was surprised and happy with news and how things turned out. The hospital chapter while they were waiting for Lex was comical was priceless and the epilogue was entertaining.
These novellas are everything I didn’t know I needed. I was so thrilled to revisit Rayla and her men! These were all thrilling and full of humor and delicious spice. I would take every single one of these MMCs as my next boyfriend. I want to see more of these characters asap, I love them SO much!
