We are back in Raven’s Cove and this time it is middle brother Logan’s story and none other than Marina Manager Sophie, Logan was Sophie’s teenage crush and it went a bit further when she was eighteen but he left and broke her heart, Sophie went a bit wild after that and now is the single mother of eight year old Biyen. Sophie and Biyen are living with her grandfather but Sophie is still a little mad at Logan will she ever be able to forgive him?

Logan has arrived back to the place he grew up with his estranged half-brothers after the death of their father, he left years ago to design luxury yachts and lives in Florida, but him and his brothers must now get the renovations at Raven’s Cove done so as they can sell it and all move on, but the longer he stays here especially getting to know his new baby sister, Storm and spending time with Sophie and Biyen will he be able to walk away again?

This is such a great second chance romance, there is lots of emotion throughout this story Sophie and Logan have a lot from their pasts that they need to put behind them that is if they can open up first because the chemistry between them is strong and fiery. I loved being back in Raven’s Cove and catching up with Reid, Emma and Storm, Trystan as well and getting to now Biyen I do love Biyen.

This is one that I would highly recommend, it is sure to keep any romance reader turning the pages and feeling every emotion and I can’t wait for Trystan’s story.

My thanks to Tule Publishing for my digital copy to read and review.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book, given to me by Tule Publishing via BookFunnel. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
An emotional heartwarming story about different types of love, including strengthening old ties and building strong new relationships, “Forgiving Her First Love”, by Dani Collins, focuses on an improbable romantic couple beating all odds and overcoming obstacles of all sort.
Logan and Sophie seemed so disconnected for a good part of the story but the connection and attraction were there, dormant, a young love turning into a mature one.
The things separating them – old hurts, geography, family, careers and jobs – seemed insurmountable, along with Logan’s deep-rooted reluctance to commit.
I loved how they slowly reconnect and learn to trust each other again; it feels that some members of their families – Storm, Biyen, Emma, Art, Glenda, the brothers – and the web of affection and love they generate have a decisive contribute to the romantic couple’s love story.
I enjoyed getting a glimpse into Sophie’s longing and desire and Logan’s troubled relationship with his father, explaining so much of who he is today.
I loved the characters, the fondness between them, the small community of Raven Cove and the beautiful natural scenery. The fact that even the young ones - Storm, Biyen - are developed is great.
Now, let’s wait for Trystan’s story.

Forgiving Her First Love is book 2 in the Raven's Cove trilogy about three half brothers forced back to their home town after the sudden death of their father and his fiancée. The couple leave behind a half renovated resort and a small child called Storm.
The first book is Reid's story and includes Storm's New Zealand born nanny. The third book will be Trystan's.
This story is Logan Fraser and Sophie's story. They've known each other since they were children and he was the older brother of her classmate, Trystan. A teenage crush turned into strong feelings and when Logan is back from college helping his long suffering mom pack up and leave, he and Sophie reconnect. Really connect, or so Sophie believed. And then he leaves, devastating the eighteen year old Sophie.
It's now eight years later and all the brothers are back in town and Logan and Sophie are going to have to work together at the Marina attached to the family resort. Sophie is a marine mechanic. Such a cool job.
She is also the mother of Biyen, a cute eight year old who is NOT Logan's son. Turns out the months after Logan left were not Sophie's finer moments but she adores her son, even though his dad is a bit of a free spirited sponger.
The story is about how Sophie and Logan have to learn to get along with each other and get to know each other all over again. Sophie has protected herself all these years by focusing on her resentment and anger with Logan for treating her like dirt.
Logan knows he was stupid and what he did hurt Sophie, but he didn't realize how much until they started talking.
This is a mostly slow burn romance with the action taking place over many weeks.
The cast of characters is broad, including Reid and Trystan, Sophie's friend Emma, the Nanny. Nolan, Biyen's dad and Sophie's ex. Art is Sophie's grandfather who shares his house with them and there are other Fraser family members and locals populating the small outpost set on leased Indigenous lands in far west Canada.
There is a strong family and community vibe to the story with the brothers being very connected despite past issues keeping them apart for years.
I really enjoyed following the journey of Logan and Sophie as they deal with the past and start to reimagine the future.
I did feel like there were a lot of deaths within the family. Perhaps because it was a double death bringing them all together, although that happens prior to the series start but it's an ever present catalyst to the ongoing situation.
The ending was very satisfying.

I didn’t like it. The heroine had a crush on the hero when she was a teenager and he knew about it. When she was 18 he had a brief fling with her and took her vCard leaving days later without an explanation, or better, the explanation was that he was her first but not the last. Yuck. The heroine tries to move on using sex as a coping mechanism and eventually falls pregnant with some kind of hippy. The hero leaves the small town that is a Marina in Canada with a hundred of people living there. He wants to travel and have a good job but doesn’t want the heroine around. Eight years later he’s back, she is still grumpy and he tries to get her back because after living a good life for eight years and fuggin dozens of beautiful women he’s ready to have the hard working heroine as a wife. The heroine is really a passive aggressive. She blames him for her life changing for the worse, but she was not pregnant with his child and she could have done different choices, she decided to have unprotected sex and to stay with a loser that has no job and never had one, this is on her. But I wouldn’t have wanted him back. He never thought about her, he didn’t want to stay there and only accepted because he had family business so she was never his priority, not in thought nor in life. She wanted to leave in the end when her grandfather died. I wish she had done it because the hero deserved to have a taste of his own medicine and because the heroine deserved to find her place in the world. I didn’t like the fact that her ex, the child’s dad, was a no good who lived without a job and she had to help him financially, he was a good dad in a very hippy kind of way but I didn’t like that he was not a worthy man. And I didn’t like that the heroine, after breaking up with her baby daddy, stayed celibate for four years. There’s a lot of talk about equal opportunities and the hero never blames the heroine because she had sex with om when he left but why couldn’t she have a sane and happy sex life after him? Why is everything happened afterwards always related to him in some way? This is not different from a celibate heroine. And the hero even if he didn’t have a wife surely had a lot of women and it didn’t look like he had issues forgetting the heroine, or blaming himself for the way he dumped her. So no, sorry this is not for me.

At Raven’s Cove, Logan is staying with his brothers to help with renovations so they can sell the business to help their baby sister, Storm to make sure she has a legacy after the death of their father and her mother. Logan runs across the Marina Manager, Sophie who he broke her heart when she was eighteen. She’s still angry with him. Now she’s a mother of Biyen, her eight year old son and lives with her grandfather and helps takes care of him after her mother passed away. She has a lot on her plate. No time for romance especially since her divorce from Biyen’s father. She can take care of her family and herself, thank you very much. She’s determined to not let Logan hurt her again. Logan and Sophie has to work together. He tries to prove he’s changed but she still can’t believe him since Logan left her years ago. That he’s put his life on hold for now as they move forward with the plans to renovate the business. Once sold they’ll all go back to their other lives where his dream is to build boats. Sophie knows her life is in Raven Cove. His is in Florida. Can they work together and renovate the place? Will their feelings get in the way? Will Logan leave when it’s sold? What will happen to their baby sister if his brother can’t adopt her? Will her aunt want try to take her away from them? There not sure what’s going to happen with Storm’s aunt? It just can’t happen. They’ll fight tooth and nail to keep her with them. The characters are wonderful. They pulled together as a family to protect their baby sister, to do what’s right for her, all the while they fall in love with her and bond as brothers. It’s a wonderful story a about, forgiveness, second chance at love and finding what’s really important in their lives. Worth the read. I received this book for my honest review. I give it voluntarily.

This story started much smoother than the previous book. It’s still a slow burn, but there wasn’t a lot of confusion with the author having already had the groundwork laid in the first book. Logan and Sophie have known each other most of their lives and Sophie has always held a flame for him. They had one perfect week just after she graduated, but things went down in flames. Sophie’s feelings were unrequited and Logan had to get away from their small town and his father.

Here we are, years later, and Logan is back on their small town island with his brothers and surprise baby sister to clean up their deceased father’s mess. Sophie is a single mom who works for them and still gets stars in her eyes when seeing Logan. But Sophie is a very different woman now and hasn’t forgotten how Logan left her behind. Logan is finally opening his eyes to the way he was only ever happy when Sophie was in his life. He’s not sure how to get her to forgive him so he treads lightly.

For the most part, this story flowed smoothly. Logan and Sophie have good chemistry and find a way to talk things out a bit at a time. Yet there was a blip when I totally misunderstood something and didn’t realize the characters had actually had sex. It was an emotional time and the verbiage was that they slept together, and I thought they literally slept together for comfort. So that was strange and felt abrupt. Even so, I enjoyed this story and I’m curious to see how things play out for the last brother standing.

In "Forgiving Her First Love," author Dani Collins crafts a compelling tale of second chances and emotional reckoning set against the picturesque backdrop of Raven's Cove. Sophie Peterson, managing a marina with determination and grit, finds her world upended when Logan Fraser, her former crush and lover, returns unexpectedly to her life.

The novel dives deep into the complexities of Sophie and Logan's intertwined pasts. Sophie, still nursing wounds from Logan's abrupt departure years ago, is understandably cautious when he reappears seeking her assistance with familial and financial burdens. Meanwhile, Logan grapples with his own demons and familial responsibilities, shaped by a tumultuous upbringing marred by his father's indiscretions and his mother's sacrifices.

Dani Collins skillfully navigates themes of forgiveness, trust, and redemption as Sophie and Logan confront their shared history and the unresolved emotions lingering between them. The dynamics between the characters are palpable, layered with raw emotions and genuine vulnerabilities that add depth to their journey of self-discovery and healing.

"Forgiving Her First Love" captivates with its evocative prose and authentic portrayal of small-town life and interpersonal relationships.

Overall, "Forgiving Her First Love" is a touching and heartfelt novel that underscores the enduring impact of past choices on present relationships. With its engaging narrative and relatable characters, this book is sure to appeal to fans of contemporary romance seeking a story of love, forgiveness, and second chances.

Forgiving Her First Love by Dani Collins, book two in her new Raven’s Cove series, features a second chance romance between middle brother Logan’s story and the Marina Manager Sophie. After the death of his father, Logan Frazer returned to Raven's Cove to help his brothers with the baby sister they didn't know they had, and save the marina and lodge owned by their estranged father. It also brought him together again with Sophie Peterson who's heart he knew he broke when he left. Sophie got on with her life, had a son and now will do everything she can to make sure her son has a future with or without the marina she loves and works at. Logan and Sophie need to figure out how to work together while dealing with the feelings they still have for one another; with the possibility of a future for themselves and Sophie's son, and build a family together. Sophie and Logan have a lot from their pasts to overcome: old hurts, geography, family, careers and jobs, before they can heal; as the chemistry between them is still strong and fiery.

This was a wonderful book that will give you a good heartwarming read about, family, friendships old and new; about love from the past and into the future. It was fun to catch up with Reid, Emma Storm, and Trystan as well as get to better know Glenda, Biyen, and Sophie’s grandfather Art; who taught Logan much of his early boat building and designing skills. With themes of loss, guilt, trust and betrayal, this book was both entertaining and emotionally gripping. I can’t wait to read the Trystan’s story.

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

Sophie Peterson and Logan Fraser have a history and he seems to have forgotten all about it. She spent her childhood crushing on Logan and briefly they had a thing when he came back to Raven's Cove the year she graduated high school. That really got her hopes up and then he left again and broke her heart all over again.

Logan escaped the island to follow his dreams and design luxury yachts. He was done with the weather here, his brothers and his dad. He had yet another affair and his mother forgave him again. Now he was headed back home to fix another of his dad's messes. He and his brothers now have an orphaned baby sister to take care of and a big financial mess that his dad left behind. He will need Sophie's help to resolve these problems, but her priorities are her son and grandfather she could care less about Logan. But she does need the work to help support her little family. She will work for the man, but she will never trust him again.

They have other problems right now though. They all 3, Reid, Tristen and Logan have to learn to take care of the Storm. She is a precious baby, but she is a hand full. Emma is still around too, and she is now married to Tristen, Emma was the nanny to the baby before her parents were killed in the plane crash. They also have to get the company back up and running in the black or lose everything. Where do we go from here? Will Sophie forgive Logan? Will they get back together? Will the ever solve all of the problems from the company?

I got this book from BookSprout and will be happy to leave a review.

The author takes us back to Raven’s Cove and the three Fraser brothers. All with the same father, but different mothers.
Raven’s Cove was not a place of happy memories. Especially, not with their father nor the fragile relationship with each other. As adults , they are successful men, but their childhood left emotional scars.
When their father dies, he leaves behind their sister Storm, an infant, as well as a struggling resort. This forces them to be brought together to Raven’s Cove in order to fulfill the will’s demands.
Logan, the middle son, left years ago to attend college and advance studies in Italy, where he perfected the art of designing luxurious yachts.
Coming back, brings him back to face Sophie Peterson
Sophie was very much in love with Logan, and when he left, he broke her heart and her spirit.
Now that he’s back, Logan has to deal daily with the resorts and marina’s beautiful and talented mechanic. While Sophie would rather not cross paths with Logan, she needs the job for herself, her son, and grandfather.
Will the second time around bring these two together or is it too late for forgiveness and second chances?
This was a good addition to the series with an engaging plot and well developed characters.
I would highly recommend the readers to read book one first, since it is the foundation for the entire series.
I was entrusted a copy of this book by Tule Publishing. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

Forgiving Her First Love brings readers back to Canada’s British Columbia for the second installment in Dani Collins’ Ravens Cove series. I really enjoyed book one, which featured oldest Fraser brother Reid so was looking forward to reading this one, which stars middle brother Logan and Sophie Hughes, the girl he left behind when he went to Italy at 21 to learn about boat building. This story is a nice combination of the second chance at romance and enemies to lovers tropes. Sophie certainly is not a fan of Logan when he returns to Raven’s Cove, having felt betrayed when he left after a short affair. She had been in love with him as a teenager and had thought he felt the same.
I love this setting and the way the small community pulls together. The characters, both key players and the suporting cast, are all well crafted and both believable and likeable. I loved the way Logan’s baby sister Storm had him and his brothers twisted around her tiny fingers. She added a level of warmth to the story and made this strong man vulnerable. I admired Sophie too. She’s had a hard time making a go of things and raising her son Biyen despite receiving virtually no help from her ex. Her grandfather Art, who taught Logan much of his early boat building and designing skills, is also a wonderful character. With themes of loss, guilt, trust and betrayal, this book was both endertaining and emotionally gripping and I have really enjoyed reading it.

Logan Frazer has retuned to Raven's Cove to help his brother's with the little sister they didn't know they had and safe the marina and lodge owned by their estranged father. It also brought him together again with Sophie Peterson who's heart he knew he broke when he left. Sophie got on with her life, had a son and now will do everything she can to make sure her son has a future with or without the marina she loves and works at. Can Logan and Sophie find a good working relationship and can they fight the feelings they have for one another, or do they work together for a future for themselves and Sophie's son to build a family. Can Sophie trust Logan again with her heart.

This was a wonderful book that will give you a good heartwarming read about, family, friendships old and new. About love from the past and into the future. You will just have a feel good mood read when you finish this book.
Although I did not read book #1, you will get a feel for the characters and what their background stories are. I look forward to more of Raven's Cove.

This is Logan and Sophie’s story. I loved the first book, so I was very excited to read this one. It did not disappoint! Logan and Sophie had a short fling when they were younger. They’ve avoided each other (or Sophie has avoided him) since Logan has been back in town. This story starts off right where the first book ended. Emma’s family is coming into town, so Logan needs a temporary place to stay. Sophie’s grandfather invites him to stay at their house. Logan is just as amazing with Sophie’s son as he is with Storm, his little sister. It was wonderful to see their relationship unfold.

The conflict in this story kept me turning pages and the writing was top notch. This book had it all. Laughs. Family. Tears. ALL the feels! I cannot wait for book 3 although I will be very sad to see this series end! Something exciting happens at the end of the book to clue us in on what’s in store for Trystan in the next book! Huge thanks to Tule publishing for allowing me to read and review this wonderful book!

Forgiving Her First Love, the second Raven's Cove book by Dani Collins has Logan Fraser back in Raven’s Cove. In many ways it is as much a coming home story as it is a second chance romance story. A family that has had some difficult times growing up, Logan and brothers are back again to help where it is needed. Sophia Peterson is not about to open her heart to him again though none of the brothers, including Logan, are like their father. Still she was hurt when he left the area.

I like this group of men including Logan. Admired them now for standing up to help and support when many would have stayed away. I also could appreciate Sophia’s feelings. Her wariness is evident throughout a great part of this book. Yet, Logan and she are continually pulled towards each other. Perhaps it is time for her to be in charge of her own happiness. A life lesson there. A story to enjoy, with a family worth knowing.

Sophie has spent her whole life in Raven Cove. She has a job and family that she is responsible for. Her grandfather took her in when she needed to start over with her son. Now, years later, her childhood crush is back in town. Not only was Logan her biggest crush, they had a fling the summer she graduated high school. She did not handle his departure well. He has never seen himself as a relationship kind of guy. He watched his father disrespect his mother for entire childhood. Now his father has died leaving the company is disarray and an orphaned daughter. Now Logan and his brothers are determined to take care of their baby sister. When he sees Sophie he realizes that he still has feelings for her. What is her story? How old is her son? Wait.....could he be? I enjoyed watching Sophie and Logan reconnect as mature adults. Maybe though their loss they can find there happily ever after. Good read.

Logan returns to Raven's Cove upon the death of his father Wilf and is instantly thrust into the drama of being back in a place he despises. Although book two is based on Logan and Sophie's second chance romance and their path to letting go of the past and learning to trust each other, there was a lot of focus on Logan's half-sister Storm who we met in the previous book. I usually don't think it necessary to read the first book but in this case do. In fact I didn't like this book as much -the beginning pulled me in but I felt it dragged a little. I was glad I stuck with it since the last third is packed with emotion heart-wrenching and heart-warming (no spoilers-you'll have to read for yourself). The setting of Raven's Cove is as important as the characters and I look forward to my next visit there. My favorite scene is Band night at the pub and the drinking game-it had me laughing out loud (I think you'll enjoy it too). I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Forgiving Her First Love ~ Raven's Cove #2 by Dani Collins

The story continues with the Fraser brothers, this is Logan and Sophie's story, and it has been written extremely well. The chemistry is still between the two after 8 years and the emotions that they face from their past and maybe the future.

Forgiving Her First Love is a well-written, fast-paced story and I liked the characters I was introduced to. I cared about them and liked the twists and turns in the plot line.A compelling story with lovable, relatable characters.
I highly recommend this book to all, but I will say though it can be read as a standalone, you will get the background to this book by reading the first. I'm looking forward to reading the next in the series.
Reasons I enjoyed this book:
Easy-to-read, Happily Ever After, Inspirational, Original, Page-turner, Romantic, and Wonderful characters

I love Logan and Sophie’s banter!!

My favourite thing about the Raven’s Cove series is that it’s so easy to get invested in these characters. Biyen was the real star of this story.

I’ve read Marrying The Nanny (part 1 in the series), and I’m so glad we finally know what happened between Sophie and Logan. This book ties into that story nicely, and does a great job of (re)acquainting us with the characters. It also made me want to go back and read Marrying The Nanny with the context of this book.

Trying so hard not to share spoilers!! I do wish that we were walked into them starting to have sex rather than being told oh yeah, they already did but here’s a scene where they do. It felt like quite a shock especially because the build up was great.

Overall, I had a great time reading this book. This was a free ARC from booksirens.com.

Forgiving Her First Love by Dani Collins
This story starts out with Logan who has come back to the island his family lives on where they earn money with a hotel and marina off the coast of Canada.
Story also follows Sophia and her son who their live with gramps.
Logan had left the island and broke Sophias’ heart because she was not asked to go.
What I like about this story is the fact that there are many ages starting from the very young to the very old and everything in between all their struggles and solutions to their problems.
Adult situations, very entertaining read. Love hearing about their careers and how they are done.
Received this review coy from the publishing company and this is my honest opinion.

Logan is back after years of being away, trying to reconnect with his half-brothers and save the family business. Sophie is not thrilled to see him. The last time she saw him, he was walking away without even looking back, leaving her on the deck in tears. She went a little wild after that and she has a child because of it, but she wouldn't trade him for anything. What is a surprise to her, is that no matter how much she tells herself that she can never forgive him, she knows that she loves him. But can she trust him, despite what he says?
Loved the family dynamic of the brothers and their little sister. Biyen is adorable. Really touching story.

This is a great second chance romance. Back in Raven Cove for Logan and Sophie‘s story.

Sophie is the Marina manager, a single mom and caregiver to her grandpa.

Logan Fraser is back in Raven’s Cove to help renovate the resort left behind by his father. His father also left behind his baby sister Storm.

Sophie and Logan are very busy busy busy busy people. But they have an unforgettable past. Sophie had a huge crush on Logan, but Logan went away and he broke Sophie‘s heart. Can she forgive him? Her son Biyen fell for Logan right away. I just love this little guy!

I absolutely loved the second book set in Raven’s Cove. I can’t wait for the next book!

Thank you to Tule publishing for this ARC in return for my honest review.

A second chance romance between Sophie and Logan. Logan has returned home after the sudden death of is father and is now renovating the family resort and helping to raise their baby sister with his brothers. Years ago Sophie asked Logan to be her first, which he obliged but left for his dreams a week later. Now that he has returned, his feeling have grown but can Sophie forgive him for leaving?

Loved these characters, heart felt and emotional. I must admit I did shed a few tears. Loved the closeness of the half brothers( 3 mothers/1 dad). This is the second book in the series, It can be read as a stand alone but I highly recommend to read the first book prior. Now, I can't wait to read Trystan's story.

Forgiving Her First Love is the second book in the Raven's Cove Series and is the story of Logan, who has a successful business in Florida with luxury yachts, and Sophie, a single mom of a young son who is working for his family's resort. Logan was Sophie's teen-age crush until he left their hometown after having a brief affair with her when she finished high school which left her heart broken. He returns almost a decade later to help sort out his deceased father's estate, but Sophie is afraid of getting hurt again by Logan. This second chance romance has realistic characters, strong emotions, forgiveness, and a slow burn chemistry.

What a fabulous return to Raven’s Cove! Sophie and Logan’s second chance story is every bit engaging, entertaining and emotionally satisfying as our first trip to Raven’s Cove. An orphaned baby sister and a financial disaster leads Logan to come home where Sophie and her son live. Sophie is determined to resist Logan because she has her son and grandfather to care for and doesn’t want her heart broken by Logan a second time. I love this tight little family and the way Dani writes such strong yet vulnerable characters that you can’t help but love. I can’t wait to read the next book in this fabulous series!

Logan broke Sophie’s heart but there were both young and the choices made shaped who they are today. Her son is an old soul and a riot, his biological freeloading father no clue about the effect of his careless words, not so much. But if Logan wants a second chance with Sophie he has to accept all the baggage she carries. Sophie was a tough boat mechanic who is trying to do too much. They dance around their attraction with several of his family members weighing in because of what happened before. Can she trust Logan with her heart again? It was great to catch up with the brothers who had to come together to take care of their baby sister.

I enjoyed reading this story ! Love reading about Logan and Sophie how they deal with what happened in the past and how their relationship is growing . Sophie still loves Logan but she has her son to consider so she tries to ignore it. Logan is dealing with so much but he finally realizes that he loves Sophie but he is also dealing with his brothers and the baby sister Storm and what is happening with the business. Also love reading more about Reid and Emma and Trystan. Near the end of the story they get to meet Tiffany's sister Cloe. Look forward to reading Trystan story in Wanting A Family Man.

Forgiving Her First Love is book 2 in the Raven’s Cove series by Dani Collins and a good read 4.5 stars

Up next is Logan and Sophie’s story, he was her teenage crush until he broke her heart. Now years later he’s back after his father’s death but he and his brothers must renovate Raven’s Cove so they can sell and move on but seeing and being around Sophie stirs old emotions and memories…read on to see how it all ends…

I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy (ARC) of this book from Tule Publishing. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This is the second book in the series. This book is Logan and Sophie’s story. Logan and Sophie had a brief thing a long time ago. Logan left and he broke Sophie's heart. Now many years later he is back. Both of them are different people. The thing that has not changed deep down is how they feel for each other. In order to move forward they have to learn to forgive past hurts. I loved their story. This was a great addition to this series and I cannot wait for the next book. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Loved this story!! I always love a book written in Canada as I can imagine the places I know about so well!
The writing was very descriptive and I felt like I could see the whole community laid out before me and was right there with them!
Logan and Sophie were made to be and although it was an uphill climb to get through the past, it made for a lovely story.

No spoilers but my heart absolutely shattered at one point and I was bawling. That is the perfect sign of a well written story!
