As someone who works closely with a lot of teenagers, I understand how frustrating and concerning a lack of motivation can be for both teens and their parents. It’s a common issue that many parents struggle to navigate, and this book serves as a valuable resource for helping them better understand what might be going on with their child. It provides insightful information on the root causes of unmotivated behavior and offers practical strategies for parents to support their teen in a positive and effective way.

One of the key strengths of this book is its focus on helping parents approach the situation with patience and understanding. Rather than resorting to frustration or anger, the book equips parents with the tools they need to stay calm and composed while encouraging their teens. The advice and strategies are grounded in empathy, making it clear that motivation issues often stem from deeper challenges that need to be addressed with care.

I would highly recommend this book to any parent dealing with an unmotivated teenager. It offers helpful advice on how to foster an environment that encourages motivation and self-confidence, while also providing reassurance to parents that they’re not alone in facing this challenge. .

I received an ARC of this book via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review, and I believe it’s an excellent resource for anyone looking to better understand and support their teen in overcoming motivation struggles.

This book was a nice surprise for me. Entering preteen years with my first child, I see my self unprepared to deal with teen lack of motivation. I found in this book several practical advices on dealing with lack of motivation in teens.
The book unfolds gradually concepts like drive, grit and goals by giving many ideas and explanations for implementing in your teen’s life. I found it easy and catchy to read.
