The concept of finding du’as based on your emotional state is wonderful. The du’as are written in both Arabic and the English transliteration and don’t consume too much of your time. It is a great book to keep on hand and dip into as needed.

HOWEVER, I don’t know if I just had a dodgy copy, but quite a few pages with the names of Allah had the wrong translation. Some even had missing translations. I noticed a du’a translation that was misprinted, and it read as “again” instead of “against me”. So please, fair warning, double-check the translations!

This book....I think it saved me when I was in a perilous state and my faith was wavering or defeated. I think God's mercy brought me back through the wisdom contained in this book. I can't be grateful enough. I only hope they give out the pdf/epub version so I can carry it on my phone/kindle wherever I go.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
🌟 At its Heart: A Practical Guide for the Soul
Rooted in the Qur’an (القرآن) and hadith, the book helps us navigate the hidden struggles of the nafs (نَفْس), offering not just devotion, but a roadmap for spiritual renewal. 💛

🌿 Inspiration in difficult times
The author shares that the drafting of the book was inspired during the COVID-19 pandemic, a moment when the fragility of life and collective anxiety became impossible to ignore.

Instead of focusing outward, it gently nudges us inward, toward our most essential relationship: our conversation with Allah.
(الله سبحانه وتعالى)✨

💭 Feelings, Reflections, Remedies...
Emotions are catalogued and linked to corresponding spiritual maladies.
Feeling envious? That quiet ache may show up as sadness or despair. 😔
The book helps you see the root, understand the impact, and find the remedy.
It is almost like a clinician’s manual… but for your heart. 💖

✨ Insight Meets Action
You are not left lost in abstract theology; Each insight can be applied to calm, correct, and reflect on your nafs (نَفْس). 🛠️

📖 Beauty in Every Detail
Textured pages, color-coded dividers, and a carefully crafted index show the love and tremendous effort poured into the design of this book.
Its physical beauty mirrors its spiritual depth, making each page a small invitation to pause and reflect. 🌸

🌙 My Ramadan Companion
During Ramadan, it became my daily guide.
It transformed duʿā’ (دعاء) from a simple list of requests into a conscious, hopeful conversation with Allah, (الله سبحانه وتعالى) the One who delights in our turning to Him. 🙏💫

🙏 Calling on the Beautiful Names of Allah (الله سبحانه وتعالى)
The integration of the Beautiful Names of Allah (الله سبحانه وتعالى) is truly genius.
For e.g:
Invoking Al-ʿAdl العدل (The Just) or Al-Malik المالك (The Sovereign) during moments of anger or injustice turns frustration into surrender.

This eventually calms our anxieties as we are reminded that we are never in control in the first place. 🌿

🌸 A Guide to Iḥsān احسان
In every sense, the book is more than a devotional aid.
It is a refined guide to iḥsān احسان, to worshipping Allah with awareness and excellence.
It bridges scholarship and accessibility, introspection and action, structure and beauty, offering a transformative reading experience that nourishes both heart and soul. 💛✨
