I love her, but I also love him. She's everything to me. He sets my world on fire. It's our dirty little secret, and it’s about to blow our record deal sky high. I’m Tommy Blade, the Prince of Punk Rock, and this is our story.
Tommy Blade is a man with a secret. It’s a secret he only shares with one person, Jessi Blade – and the men he surrenders to in the bedroom. Her only condition to their tumultuous sex life is that these men are one night stands. But when Angel Garcia enters his life, it’s like a match to gasoline.
Mega-talented punk rock singer Angel Garcia, with his smoldering ebony eyes, tight leather pants and unstoppable stage presence, is a man who is use to getting what he wants. He has his eyes set on Tommy Blade as his new lead guitarist, and as his life partner.
Jessi Blade, sympathetic to her husband's bisexual needs, loves him enough to share him, but she never counted on Angel Garcia to test the threshold of her marriage. He makes her life hell . . . and heaven. He’s her damnation and her salvation. She wants to hate him. She wants to despise him. But, his charm and raw sex appeal are impossible to resist. Without warning, she finds herself falling in love with her husband's gay lover.
At the height of it all, their punk rock band catapults to stardom.
Their lives are marred by secrecy, deception and sacrifice. Feelings of betrayal, backlash from the sensationalistic media and threats of blackmail send them down a hard road filled with tough decisions.
They aren't your ordinary rock stars. They're radical rock stars. And they have a big story to tell.

I don't know how to rate this book. What I liked: the characters were very well-written. I loved Tommy, but then I have a guitar-player fetish and I love men with long blonde hair. I really liked Angel, but some of the things he said I couldn't see a 27-year-old tattooed, punk rocker saying. ("I finally bedded my sweet prince." Who says that?) I liked Jessi and her spunk. I liked a lot of the side characters. The story wasn't bad even though parts were kind of unrealistic. Kendall was a good villain. I loved the on-stage antics. I could really feel the sexually chemistry between Angel and Tommy and it was hot.
Gosh where to start with what I didn't like. I didn't understand this triad. Tommy is bisexual and obviously loves Jessi but needs a man to feel complete. Hmmm...really? I'm not bisexual and I don't pretend to understand it, but if you're in a relationship with one sex, do you need the other? Do you miss it? Jessi is OK with sharing her husband with a man but is understandably threatened by Angel. I get that. I don't quite get when and why she was suddenly OK with it.
I'm no expert on menages but I think in a successful one, everyone brings something different to the table. In this triad, there's Tommy who loves both a man and a woman and who is really the glue. Without Tommy, there's no relationship. Angel is in love with Tommy. It's not realistic.
Something else that bothered me.
I love stories about rock stars and I especially love gay rock stars. This story isn't bad and it's written quite well. I know that many people have given it a 4 or 5 star rating so I'm sure these are just my quirky opinions since I really don't like women in my romances.
What if you (Tommy Blade) were a up and coming gorgeous rock star? What if you had an equally gorgeous wife (Jessi Blade) who loved and supported you in anything and everything you do? What if you weren’t the type to pick up groupies because you and your wife love each other unconditionally? What IF there was just 1 little thing – 1 little monkey wrench in this rock and roll marriage? That thing being that Tommy has a thing for hot sweaty men. Thus far Jessi has been able to act like it’s not a big deal. Like it’s not going to break apart their marriage? Would you stay? Would you be able to share the man you love?
Tommy Blade is on the brink of stardom. When Angel Garcia of Immortal Angel needs a lead guitarist, it seems a natural fit to bring Tommy Blade on board. Instantly, there is an instant attraction between Tommy and Angel. Tommy is an all American type, from a close family, who has kept his “lifestyle” secret from them. He adores his wife but the connection he feels with Angel is undeniable. Angel is out and proud. A no holds barred type who leaves it all on the stage after every performance. He will not compromise with his music or with his heart.
Let me start off by saying that I do not go in for the M/M stories. Usually I do not read them at all. However, the teasers on this one were irresistible. I have to admit that I was sucked in. Even though I thought it would be a pile of crap – there was genuine romance here. There is deep affection. The sex is hot but believable. Jessi loves her husband so much that she is willing to allow Tommy to be who he is - regardless that it is not the norm in most marriages. At first Tommy fights his attraction to Angel but it is soon apparent that this is not just passing fancy. The feelings here are deep and real. The attraction smolders. Jessi and Angel form a truce because of their mutual love for Tommy.
The road to love does not run smoothly. There are certainly bumps along the way. I loved Jessi’s spunk, her willingness to go out on a limb. Tommy is conflicted by his love for Jessi and Angel. Angel is sweet and has this habit of saying sexy things in Spanish. He is yummy! Surprisingly enough, Jessi starts having feelings for Angel herself. Angel is not having any of it. He cares for Jessi but she is not his flavor. An old foe comes out of the past to wreck havoc with the group’s future.
How will their friends react to this unconventional relationship? Can these three lovers find a way to co-exist? Will fame destroy everything they hold near and dear? No way I’m telling you. What I will tell you is that I really enjoyed this read and will definitely 1-Click Radical Rock Stars #2.
The instant the author chooses to make one of the main characters in the ménage relationship strictly homosexual, the plot is doomed for disaster. This is the case with The Prince of Rock.
In addition, the characters are not likable. Tommy wants to be married to Jessi but still wants to have sex with men. Then he takes it one step further and wants to have a relationship with another man while staying married to Jessi. That's not love, that's pure selfishness. His wife, Jessi, drops out of college to support Tommy and accepts his extramarital affairs that she watches but can't participate in. That's not love, that's desperation. Finally, there's Angel who has no interest in Jessi and barely thinks twice before inserting himself into her marriage. Clearly, he too is extremely selfish and doesn't value a commitment that was already made between two people.
All in all, the despicable characters combined with the stilted, sub par writing, make this one book to avoid at all costs. Unfortunately, the sequel is already in my library though I don't think I'll be able to bring myself to read it.
OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!! 2 of my favorite things come to the front and center when i read this book!!! I was so Amped up by all of the promos and teasers about The Prince of Punk Rock and I was NOT disappointed..... Jenna brings to life a Very REAL love story about never endind respect and unconditional love between Tommy Angel and Jessi!!! I fell in love with all 3 of them. I must admit that my emotions were all over the place at times and i got the sudden urge to punch a few characters but was instantly calmed donw by the hot steamy Love scenes!!! Which were perfect and not too much. Jenna held my attention throughout the entire book. The ups and downs these 3 go through are stressful already added that the publicity and judgement of family and society it was a pleasant surprise that these 3 plowed through.... Kudos Jenna you Rocked my socks ofd with this beauty annd look foward to hearing more about Immortal Angel!!!!!!!
Ho.Ly.Fuck me that was a hot read. Hot and exciting and fantastically delicious. With its naughtiness and its sassiness and its drama and its purity and its everything! This book wasn't just good, it was "up at 3am writing a review because if I don't I won't be able to sleep" good.
Tommy and Jessie are a happily married couple who enjoy threesomes, mostly to satiate Tommy's "I'm bi but I don't know it" desires. When Tommy's fingers aren't busy wrapping themselves around men's parts, or inside his wife's, they are bringing people to their knees with their skill on the electric guitar. Which is what drew Angel, the sizzling-hot voice (with an appearance and a package to go with it) to invite him into his band. It isn't too long before Angel finds himself invited into the couple's bed.
Can a gay man, a bi man, and a straight woman make it work? What happens when stardom comes and brings contracts with morality clauses with it? When the spotlight hits you, what would you choose: live your life fully in the open, freely allowing it to be scrutinized and commented on by every single nobody? Or keep parts of it to yourself, keeping your success safe but hiding who you truly are from the world forever?
Admittedly I was sceptical during the first 100 or so pages of the book. Things felt like they were evolving too quickly and without much depth, leaving me craving for more details, more insight into the hearts and minds of the protagonists. That hunger was soon satisfied when the fully understandable "what on earth are we doing" drama was resolved, and every single interaction, from the marketing strategies to the down and dirty omg panties are dripping sex, made my grin wider.
The pure and unfiltered honesty of not only the dialogue but the reactions of each person involved was astonishing, I was absolutely taken aback by the mere realism of it all. It felt like a slap in the face that you are most thankful for. Yes the writing felt rough at times, but in this case it worked - the unpolished style just matched the mental, emotional and have no doubt, very much also physical confusion that is ever present in the beginning of every closed polyamorous ménage.
And the sex... oh Gods the sex! The MMF and MFM threesomes that just kept coming (like me), and the emotions that flared after each one. The BDSM element that caught me by surprise... it all was simply put hot.I have a thing for watching gay sex, like Jessie, and I felt like a voyeur turning the pages. Glorious!
I am incredibly disgruntled to notice, however, that there is no book 2 out, or at least I can't seem to find it. Which will make Saha a sad girl.
Tommy Blade always knew his future lay in music though he hasn't yet been able to do more than play at local bars and supplement his income teaching private music lessons. His wife, Jessi, knows it's just a matter of time before he's discovered and does everything she can to keep the couple afloat in the meantime including understanding his occasional candy run as long as she can watch that is. Who knew man on man action could be so hot.
Angel Garcia is close to landing a record deal. Unfortunately he's had a set back when his lead guitarist quit the band leaving him to find someone who can play up to his standards and balance out Angel's over the top strong stage presence. Checking out the local talent Angel spots Tommy knowing he would be a perfect fit both on stage and in his bed. Shockingly, while Tommy is a perfect fit, he's married and shows all the classic signs of being in a loving monogamous heterosexual relationship.
With so much on the line, neither man is willing to risk their attraction for the other though their chemistry is off the chart. While Tommy is bisexual and Jessi tolerates his occasional candy run, his love is absolute and he won't do anything that puts his marriage at risk. Even if Angel is the hottest piece of candy he's ever seen.

This is the kind of story that grabs the reader from the start and doesn't let go. The angst and HAWT adult content scenes combine to keep things interesting with a side of meaningful plot story line. Just what I needed to keep me up late last night....
I was given this by Paranormal Romance and Authors That Rock, for an honest review, and I am rather chuffed! the book was just added to my wish list, just the day before!
Jessi and Tommy have an unusual marriage in that Tommy is bisexual (although he wont come out and say it!) and Jessi will do anything to keep her husband happy, including bringing other men to their bed. BUT these are one time onlys, until that is, they meet Angel.
Tommy is a rock guitarist, and Angel's band needs a guitarist. Angel WANTS Tommy, in more ways that one.
There follows a love story, a band's success story, and a story of unrequited love, gone bad.
this differs somewhat from the usual M/M/F books I've read, because Jessi goes into this fully aware of what is going on. She just has no idea how much it will effect her, her relationship with Tommy and how much it will make her want Angel too, but he ain't swinging that way!
what I particularly liked about this book, was the build up. it was well over a third of the way through before Tommy and Angel finally got their act together, after some prompting from Jessi, and from that point, it was go, go GO! I loved the build up, the way the characters, all three of them, struggled to deal with the attraction between Tommy and Angel. I loved that we heard from all three of them too, so glad about that! I loved how the other band members picked it up, early on, and were non-judgemental. the scenes between all three of them were well written, and their emotions come off the page. made me cry in some places. the dynamics of their relationship evolved through the book, with the usual up's and down's any relationship faces, let alone one played out in the public eye, and there is always one who wont let you be happy. Kendall was the one character I did NOT like, and with good reason! I knew she would be up to no good, I just didn't realise how far she would go.
as the blur says, They aren't your ordinary rock stars. They're radical rock stars. And they have a big story to tell. and a BIG story it is too! one the longer stories I've read for a while too, 315 pages. While this story does not end, as there is a second book, the coming together of the three does, so there is not one of those throw-your-kindle/book-at-the-wall kind of ending! the second book moves on, and tells of what happens next. I WILL be reading that one too!
I want to start off by saying that, ultimately, I enjoyed the hell out of this book. That said, it wasn't until I was about a third of the way through the book before I really started to enjoy it. There was nothing wrong with the first part of the book or the author's writing. I just wasn't getting into it and it wasn't until I hit the 34% that I figured out why. The first part of the book moves fast and I felt like I was getting quick glimpses into the main characters' lives, the dynamics in Tommy & Jessi's relationship, the background behind Tommy joining the band, the lust that builds between Tommy and Angel. What was missing - for me - was an emotional connection to the characters; it felt more like I was fast-forwarding through parts of their lives and just peeking in on them for little bits of time without really getting to know them.
However, after the first ménage between Angel, Tommy & Jessi, that changed and I devoured the rest of the book. It wasn't the ménage that made the book click for me (though I did enjoy it and the later sex scenes), it was that after the encounter, the relationship between the three began to develop and as their emotions grew for one another, so did my investment in them as characters. I was happy for them as the band's success grew, angry when their success was threatened, heartbroken AND elated as they dealt with familial reactions to their relationship (3 families = 3 different reactions), and I enjoyed the roller coaster ride of emotions they dealt with as they learned how to be a unit of three and found their places within the framework of their relationship. While the sex scenes were hot, they're not what made the book for me; it was the development of the relationship between the three that I enjoyed the most.
Although The Prince of Punk Rock is the first book of the series, it does not end with a cliffhanger that makes you want to throw your Kindle across the room. The issues I had with the first third of the book have more to do with my personal reading style than the author's writing, because once I connected to the characters, I couldn't stop reading. I look forward to reading the next book in the series.
There were lots of parts of this story I enjoyed and some I really disliked. Jessi and Tommy have been together for a long time, and Jessi has always supported Tommy's musical aspirations. Tommy shares with her that he desires men-he is in love with her but he can't ignore his desire for sex with men. Jessi understands his needs and even encourages him to have one night stands. But then he meets Angel -the lead singer of Immortal Angel and he is smitten. Angel is gay not bisexual and he wants Tommy. When Tommy joins his band and the two mesh and turn an aspiring band into a dynamic force, things really get complicated.
Tommy and Angel fall in love, Jessi tries to understand her part in all of this. Angel is developing feelings for her, but he is not attracted to her. Here's what I didn't like-it's one thing to want sex with other guys, but to fall in love with one...where does that leave Jessi? She is way too understanding of the situation-mind you-she has sex with Tommy, Tommy has sex with both of them.
There are a couple of things that make Jessi feel betrayed by Tommy and Angel. They all agreed for sex to be between the three of them, Jessi wants to know everything that is going on, but Tommy and Angel betray that trust. How does Jessi deal with that? A hell of a lot better than I would, I can tell you that.
There is tons of steam and sex in this story. I liked the development of Damian and Jimmy -the other band members. Their rise to the top is interesting, but I had problems dealing with Angel and Tommy's relationship. I have a hard time seeing how Tommy can fall for someone so quickly, still love his wife and Jessi to be okay with it all.
The cover and the little excerpt caught my attention and once I started reading the book grabbed my interest. I must say that this book was hard to put down once I started it.
I wasn't sure what kind of a journey this book would take but I must say it was a wild read. This book centers around a married couple and the man who comes into their lives and changes everything as they start to climb the music charts with the band.
This book contains romance, love, lies and hate that is all revolving around the 3 main characters in the book, Tommy, Angel and Jessi. All colorful but different in their own way and they work well together.
The character in this book work well together to form a great story line. The story has bumps in the road but not with the writing and characters but with how each person deals with the problems that come up.
This is a great start to the series and I must say that this book is for mature readers (+18) because of the sexual content written in this book.
This book had been sitting on my Kindle waiting for a free moment - so when I was offered the chance to review the new book in the series, I finally read it - WHAT A MISTAKE TO WAIT! I absolutely loved this book, and the new one. I was still up at 2am this morning, fighting sleep because I didn't want to stop reading.
This book is so beautifully written, so seamlessly tripping from one of the three leads to another, that I was soon totally enthralled by the events unfolding. I was strongly a Jessi supporter all the way through, and felt that this book delved into a lot of issues that I have considered when reading other such books, but that have not been addressed. The fact that we are dealing with three really sexual, swoon-worthy individuals who are explosive when together, makes for some moments where an ice bath would be the only cure.
I received this to review for a blog tour. I don't think I'd have bought this before I read it... It just didn't seem like my kinda book. It's the punk element that scared me as I'm not into that kinda music. Now I'm pumping my arm in the arm saying yeah for blog tours.
I loved this book. The characters Tommy, Angel and Jessi are certainly worth reading about. This is a good storyline that it had me gripped. The author did a great job of portraying how hard it is to 'come out'. I really wanted to bang heads together sometimes. The sex scenes were written well. All in all a great read for the broad-minded people:)
The blog tour is at Foxylutely BR today, Check out the full details and our giveaway for your chance to win your own copy of the book. http://foxylutely.blogspot.com/2014/0...

I love rocker romance, I love m/m romance but the one thing I am a little hesitant about is m/m/f romance. I can count on one hand the number of books where the author has got it right in order for me to enjoy it. Ms Galicki has now joined that list.
Tommy and Jessi are a loving married couple, but Jessi is an extraordinary wife in that she agrees to her husband fulfilling his attraction to men. So once a month they have a threesome with a random guy pick up (or bringing home the candy as Tommy calls it) to give Tommy what he needs. That is until they meet Angel.
Angel is the singer with Immortal Angel and when searching for a new lead guitarist he is drawn to the amazing skills of Tommy Blade (love that name!) but then when he sees him, he is instantly attracted and in so deep there is no escaping the fact this was meant to be. Angel is comfortable in his extremely sexy skin, he’s gay and has no hesitancy in being who he is. I loved him – especially when he was speaking in Spanish. Guapo!
Tommy on the other hand doesn’t like labels, he doesn’t see himself as bi-sexual let alone gay but he knows this ‘thing’ between him and Angel is special and is something neither of them can control. But he is adamant that his love for his wife is pure and true and will remain whatever happens.
Jessie was a bit of an enigma for me. She was so totally up for her husband to be with men, even watching and joining in. I couldn’t get my head around her not being a jealous wailing banshee with her husband having sexy time with another, let alone it being a man. There was no interaction with her and the men that was purely for Tommy. Until Angel came along, then the whole equilibrium of her world and marriage was at threat, but then she became good friends with Angel and she could see that both men needed each other in a way she could not ever come between.
The story at first was quite slow going and I found it hard to keep reading. But after getting a third way in the story picks up pace and it is only at this stage you understand what the author was trying to achieve for the reader and this was to build the background of how Tommy and Jessi came to be, how Angel and his band came together and how the relationship between the three of them was built from these initial foundations. It gave depth to the story and gave the reader a better insight in order to create a believable tripod story. I liked that the story was not all pretty and peachy, that there was angst filled episodes that had me grinding my teeth in frustration, especially with Tommy and his hesitancy. I also got annoyed with Angel at times and thought he came across as immature in some scenes, like the ones with Kendall -the crazy stalking tart! I loved that Jessi stood her ground with her though!
This was a great start to the series and I for one will be picking up a copy of the next book – Between a Rock and a Hard Place. Muy bien!
Everything that I usually complain about in M/M/F stories -gay men who spontaneously find themselves attracted to women because their lover has a female lover, women who turn gay men straight because they've got magical chickbits, men who treat sex with men exactly as if it's sex with women, etc.- is absent in this book. The Prince of Punk Rock is officially the first M/M/F book where I truly believed that the characters were true to form throughout. It doesn't glorify polyamory. It doesn't shy away from hard topics like could someone enjoy watching the person they love say they loved someone else? It steps up to bat and hits it out of the park on an emotional level.
There's love and tragedy mixed together in this piece.
Everyone loves Tommy. That's why it's so good to be the prince, I suppose. It takes him a while to come to terms with that. He's never been "out" as a bisexual man. He was a football player, a jock, a hard core rocker guy, and then he married the woman of his dreams who said "It's okay to be who you are with me." Jessi loved him unconditionally. She told him to bring home men to be in their bed with them. Let him have his fun while supporting him physically, emotionally, and literally being there the whole time to make it easy on him. Enter Angel Garcia who changed everything.
Tommy had never cared about all those men he brought home. They scratched an itch. Angel? He loves. He completely falls in love with this man and watching Jessi suffer with the struggle to let him love someone else while worrying that she's going to be completely pushed aside, left behind, cast out, well, it's hard, but it's truthful.
Angel is patient to a fault. I loved a lot of his reactions to things. He's sensitive without ever being effeminate. Angel is a man who happens to be gay. He's not a stereotype. His reactions to Jessi sexually were entirely too amusing to me. As a queer person, I completely empathized with him. I get it. It's not like BOOM! He's going to suddenly want to be with a woman. It's more of a question mark of 'Could I?' since it's someone he comes to care about.
This book is a hard read because of Jessi. She's the one on the outside looking in while music bonds Angel and Tommy together, while they fall in love, while Tommy comes to embrace his sexuality. Jessi falls in love with Angel as much as Angel falls in love with Tommy and Tommy falls in love with Angel but the only one who really, truly loves Jessi is Tommy. It's not a mutual relationship on all sides. Tommy and Angel are mutually loved. Jessi? She's still finding her way which is perfectly fantastic.
I want to see where they go from here with Immoral Angel. I want to see how the band's evolution causes the relationships between Angel, Tommy, and Jessi to evolve. I want to see how it all unfolds. Fantastic work! I'm glad to give it five stars for the unique view it gave to a poly relationship and the honesty of the writing throughout.
I received this book from the author for an honest review.
So my blog is focusing on MM FF MMF MFM and all the mixes in the middle this month (March 2014). I saw the promo for this book and thought WOW and it even would fit with our theme so I reached out to the author for a copy. I sat and read this book in not time at all. I couldn't put it down. These characters captured my heart and attnetion from the very first page.
Tommy is some kinda lucky man. He is married to Jessi. She knows he is bisexual and will do anything to make him happy. She allows him to bring men home and she watches and even participated with Tommy while the other male is playing with Tommy too...however no touching of Jessi is allowed....They have a happy marriage and the world is good. Tommy gets a message to meet this Angel guy for an opportunity in his up and coming band. Jesse and Tommy go and BOOM INSTANT chemistry. Angel and Tommy have this instant pull. Jessi even sees it and does some match making. I was thinking "man she is some kind of awesome to be OK with this and even encouraging it." The three start to have a happy relationship but you see Jessi have cracks....she is begining to wonder if Angel will take Tommy away. Along the way of the story, there is great band news, unhappy family revilations and alot of sex....snickers...but you prolly figured that right??!!
Angel is VERY gay and even when Jessi is trying to seduce him, he will not budge. I have to admit I felt the sting of the rejection like Jessi did and was a little bit sad that Tommy never picked up on it. He is intune with this wife but sometimes I felt Angel was more intune with her and their love was platonic.
I was devistaed in the story when you find out about the secret that Tommy adn Angel kept from Jessi. I too was so hurt that this woman who sacraficed everything willingly for the man she loved would keep things from her. I was proud of her for standing by his and Angels side to take care of the drama nbut hurt like she was. I also was very happy with her postion at the end of the story. I am happy to see Jessi taking care of Jessi. I read the blurb for book 2 and I have to admit my heart is hurting at the drama that will be taking place in book 2.....omg i dont know if i cant take it........
I will be honest here, I have no idea why I chose to read and review this book. I'm not really into punk rock, but I do like Rockers. M/M relationships aren't at the top of my list, but I do love a great love story so I can sometimes look past that. Given that I was provided and ARC as part of a blog tour, I didn't have the benefit of reviews to help influence my choice. I took a chance on an author I didn't know. No matter what the reason, I really am glad I chose to read it. I loved it. Whatever reservations I had, went right out the window by the end of the first chapter.
I could feel the love between Jessi and Tommy, they had a strong, loving marriage. They would do anything for each other. I just don't think I can put their relationship into words. Jenna really developed this part of the story well. Most authors have trouble setting this up so well with relationships with no issues, but Jenna was able to do it given Tommy's desires.
Jessi knew that her husband had a desire for men before she married him. She refused to get married until he worked out his feelings toward men. Together, they found a way to be happy and allow for Tommy to explore his need for men through a series of one night stands with strangers.
Then Angel came along.Angel was instantly attracted to Tommy, but he kept himself in check because he knew he was married and he refused to come between Jessi and Tommy.
Finally, after so much fantastic build up, I was relieved to see them all get together. I didn't care who was with whom, they just needed to be together. The way their relationship developed and grew throughout the book kept me reading until I couldn't keep my eyes open any longer. Angel and Jessi both had their insecure moments, who wouldn't when the man they love also loves someone else, but luckily, they are able to overcome it all.
There is a second book in the works, one I will be definitely be on the lookout for. I just want to know that the three of them have their happily ever after. Their love just put a smile on my face. It's love stories like this that make me love romance novels.
I was provided an ARC of this book as part of a blog tour in exchange for an honest review.
There may be some spoilers contained within. Read at your own risk.
This was possibly one of the worst books I've read in recent memory. The writing was middle school level at best. Everything was short, declarative sentences, repeating the same thoughts over and over before repeating the same cycle. It was a literary train wreck. I have no idea why I finished it. Sheer stubbornness, I guess. The plot and characters are so over the top and melodramatic that they make shows on the Disney channel look like Shakespeare. Gah! One of our "heroes", a punk rock vocal god, is so swish he makes RuPaul look like a leather daddy. Seriously, he can't even verbally stand up to a drunken, female fan who's harassing him constantly. Talk about non-confrontational! It was embarrassing. The book is labeled as m/m/f. Oh, no! Same "hero" declares with disgust near the beginning of the book that women are gross and he has no intention of ever going there. Just because he grudgingly sticks his wick in our heroine once does not an mmf book make! He even insults the female form with some pretty revolting descriptions that did not make me feel all warm and fuzzy. Hint to all people writing about gay men, don't have them get into bed with naked women if that makes them want to hurl! The other "hero" was bi and I probably had the most sympathy for him. He wanted both genders (hurray!) and got his future wife to agree to share their bed with the occasional dude before they got married. Honest, up front, I got no complaints. Of course he also acted like a jealous two year old when Hero #1 dared to flirt with another guy after waiting months for him to get a clue. The wife... she's touted as a paragon of steadfast love, endless creative talent, and selfless devotion to her spouse. She also drinks like a fish, crushes on swish hero #1, and spends much of the book trying to get the firmly gay guy to do her, when she's not being insecure about her marriage. Huh? My eyeballs got a real workout reading this due to the excessive rolling to the ceiling. Not recommended.
Jessie and Tommy Blade are married and in love. Tommy is bisexual and Jesse does her best to find ways he can express the other side of his sexuality so that he can be happy in their marriage. Tommy is an amazing guitar player who is discovered and recruited by Immortal Angel- a punk band headed up by lead singer Angel Garcia, who is gay and quickly enamored with Tommy. Tommy is intensely attracted to Angel as well, but doesn't want to do anything to jeopardize his relationship with Jessie. Angel and Tommy together are quickly bringing their band success as their talent and chemistry propels them forward. They just have to figure out the relationship stuff, which is proving to be complicated since there are a lot of intense feelings involved and none of them want to hurt the others.
I like that this book didn't gloss over how completely challenging it is to figure out how to make a complex relationship between a straight woman, a bisexual man, and a gay man work in a way that is open, honest, and healthy. While the sex part is easy enough for them to figure out (and is also really hot) the relationship part is harder. Making sure that everyone feels respected and no one gets jealous or feels left out is definitely challenging. I liked watching them support one another as they "came out" with their unconventional relationship, and as Tommy struggled to embrace his own bisexuality and publicly acknowledge it. It was interesting seeing the additional challenges that were presented as Jessie had to deal with falling in love with a gay man who could not be attracted to her the same way she could be attracted to him.
All of this is taking place in a world of music where an indie punk band is trying hard to make a real go at a career in music. The book ends at a place that can easily flow into the next book in the series. I will be looking forward to seeing how these characters continue to make a challenging yet rewarding relationship work and how they deal with their newfound successes.

While the overall gist of the story seems a bit far fetched, it’s still an enjoyable read with lots of steamy scenes, both M/M and M/F/M. It could use another run through by an editor (for typos) but it wasn’t at the level where I would say my reading was interrupted. The story flows well, and the authors attention to detail really brings the story to life. I loved the behind the scenes look into the world of an up and coming punk rock band, and all the emotional struggles that come along with it.
I have to admit I found myself to be quite frustrated with these characters.
Tommie was selfish, to put it plain and simple. It’s always all about him. His dreams, his feelings, his needs. It’s the Tommie show 24/7. What about Jessie?! While he’s off in la la land finding the 2nd love of his life it never dawns on him to consider how his wife is handling the new changes, or that may be he should try putting her first.
Jessie needs to focus on herself for once, and go after what she wants. Except when it comes to a gay man. If he’s not into chicks, he’s not into chicks. Nothing will change that. Her constant attempts at getting Angel interested in her were…pathetic, and actually made me embarrassed for her. She has a great take charge attitude and could easily go far, but her priorities are a bit askew.
Angel…I don’t like him. At all. I don’t like his attitude toward Jessie and I definitely didn’t like how before even finding out what type of relationship Jessie and Tommie had he was trying to finagle his way in. Not cool. I do however love his stage presence, his family, and his dedication to the band.
All in all I feel like The Prince of Punk Rock was a bit anticlimactic. Problems are resolved too quickly and easily, with minimal drama. I was expecting a big blow out, especially where Kendall was concerned. But it all just kinda fizzled. Having a little insight into the next book I’m curious to see what happens to this trio.

I was introduced to Jenna Galicki on social media and I was seeing the buzz for this book and it got me interested in reading it. I am not sorry I did either. Jenna can write her butt of and I'm telling you, my face was red a few times reading this story, there are some smoking hot bedroom scenes. Tommy and Jessi Blade seem to be soul mates in every way. But what happens when your soul mate is also bisexual? If you are Jessi Blade you do whatever needs to be done to keep your relationship strong. For them that meant picking up men and only keeping them around for one night. That worked well for the couple too. Until Tommy found a job working with the charismatic and very sexy Angel Garcia and his band Immortal Angel. The chemistry between the two men is apparent from the first time that they meet. Their mutual feelings for each other put Jessi in a difficult spot. She loves Tommy and wants to keep him happy and keep their relationship going strong. Jessi is a bad-ass woman. It was awesome to see a very strong female lead in a story, she knows what she wants for her life and Tommy's life and she is not afraid to grab the bull by the horns to get it done. As Immortal Angel is set to make it big time, the three of them have to make sure that the record label doesn't tell them how they should be living their lives. Tommy also need to tell his family that Angel is more than just the lead singer in the band. That scares him since they are pretty straight laced and will not take the news that well. There are SO many good story points in The Prince Of Punk Rock and the characters all have emotional issues to deal with and Jenna handles all of them great. If I had any advice to offer for any forth coming books in this series it would be to scale back the bedroom scenes just a little and give me more of the characters and their relationships. I look forward to reading the next book.
I really enjoyed reading this book I stayed up all night reading it. This was my first time reading this author and I am looking forward to the next book. This book made me think what would I do if I was Jessi. Tommy Blade is on the brink of stardom. When Angel Garcia of Immortal Angel needs a lead guitarist, it seems a natural fit to bring Tommy Blade on board. Instantly, there is an instant attraction between Tommy and Angel. Tommy is an all American type, from a close family, who has kept his "lifestyle" secret from them. He adores his wife but the connection he feels with Angel is undeniable. Angel is out and proud. A no holds barred type who leaves it all on the stage after every performance. He will not compromise with his music or with his heart. Jessi loves her husband so much that she is willing to allow Tommy to be who he is regardless of that it is not the norm in most marriages. At first Tommy fights his attraction to Angel but it is soon apparent that this is not just passing fancy. The feelings here are deep and real. The attraction smolders. Jessi and Angel form a truce because of their mutual love for Tommy. Here is where I had the problem when Jessi said that she loved Angel and Tommy got mad he didn't think of how Jessi felt when Angel told him in front of her. I loved Jessi's spunk, her willingness to go out on a limb. An old foe comes out of the past to wreck havoc with the group's future. I also felt that Jesi should have been honest with her feelings more and what Angel's true feelings about the whole sharing thing. I can't wait to read the next book.
This book is a 4.5 for me! I love Rock n Roll stories....it is one of my favorite genres of romance. Galicki has got a great start to a series here although I see rough roads ahead for her characters.
Tommy is a Rock God with a guitar, unfortunately his band mates aren't as good as he is. Tommy's wife Jessi is a fashionista and would love nothing more than to start her own line but Tommy's music comes first. Tommy and Jessi have a great marriage, so good in fact that Jessi doesn't mind when Tommy brings other men to their bed.....for himself. Yes Tommy is bi-sexual and Jessi's only rule... she needs to be included.
Angel is the lead singer of a group that just lost their lead guitarist so he's looking for a replacement....oh and Angel is gay. He notices Tommy's music first....then he gets a look at him and has to have him in both his band and his bed. Tommy is instantly drawn to Angel but he is loyal to Jessi, they've only ever had one night stands with other guys but Tommy wants more from Angel. Angel is not sure how he will fit into the lives of this married couple and even his mom tells him to watch himself.
As the relationship between the three goes on you can see the love Jessi and Tommy have for each other and they are both willing to extend that love to Angel. Here's where it gets a little dicey....although Angel is pushed into a little experimentation with Jessi he doesn't feel the same connection with her that she does for him. And he really wants Tommy to himself.
While the three get through some large issues in this book I can only see a rough sea ahead. I can't wait for the next book but I think I will be throwing my kindle once I read it!!

3.5 Stars
When Angel Garcia is in need of a guitarist for his punk band he turns to youtube to listen to people playing. He prefers to listen more than see them play. When he listens to Tommy Blades video he knows what a fantastic guitarist he is, when he sees the video he know without a doubt he needs him in Immortal Angel.
Tommy Blade is completely in love with his wife Jessi but once a month they share their bed with random men. When Angel Garcia asks him to interview for the lead guitarist spot he is not sure his hard rock background will fit in with the punk music Angel's band plays. Tommy is taken with Angel from the moment he meets him and agrees to play with Immortal Angel. Jessi notices instantly that Tommy is infatuated with Angel. Can their marriage survive the obvious attraction Angel and Tommy share? Can the band survive the sexy chemistry?
The chemistry between Angel and Tommy is hot and heavy. Angel is so patient and loving with Tommy as he comes to terms with the fact that he is bisexual. Jessi has a place within the relationship and with the band. Her character annoyed me at times, the need to have Angel be sexually attracted to her was getting on my nerves. I would find myself skimming at parts involving her whining. Other than that I really did enjoy the story, oh but I would have punched Kendall long before that drama played out!
The Prince of Punk Rock is hot! So are the other two people in their relationship.
How strong is your relationship? What could you accept from the person you love? Another person? A different lifestyle?
Jessi and Tommy Blade live a very unusual and happy life. Tommy is in a band that hasn’t hit huge success, so when his wife gets a chance to get him an audition with Angel’s band, she jumps on it.
Knowing her husband’s taste in men, and noticing the attraction between Tommy and Angel, she plays her hand a bit at matchmaking. See, Tommy and Jessie have brought men home before, their rule? Hands off of Jessi.
What about when Jessi starts crushing on Angel too? He is gay, not bi, and he isn’t interested in changing that. Even for Jessi. How would your family take it if they knew about a lifestyle that doesn’t fit the normal type? In this story they have three families to contend with.
Personally I don’t know how a relationship like this would ever be able to work. I guess those sharing lessons never really stuck with me. But this is an intriguing read though, to watch this story play out with all the obstacles and problems they face. If you’d like to broaden your reading horizons or even just your genre, this is a good read for you. So go grab a copy and find out what Tommy, Jessi and Angel go through and how they handle it together!
First let me say this- I received an ARC of "The Prince of Punk Rock" from the amazing author Jenna Galicki; in exchange for my honest opinion. This is my opinion of her book, and I also want to tell her and all of you that I am so sorry for not writing this review much sooner. As you continue to read the following you will find out. Jessi is Tommy's manager and wife; they have a great marriage. Tommy is a Rock an Roll musician. But they are keeping a secrete from everyone. They will not let anyone get to close to them as they are afraid that someone will find out. What would you do to keep your man happy?? To keep your marriage?? Tommy is bi-sexual. Normally that doesn't bother Jessi- it just means a quick one night stand for him. However- he is now working on stage with a hunk of a man by the of Angel. Tommy has fallen head over heals in love with but he also loves his wife Jessi. Can the three of them become a unit (a family) ?? Does Tommy and Jessi stay married or does she lose him to Angel for good?? This book is totally a HOT HOT HOT BOOK !!!! HAS ALOT OF WELL DEVIFINED SEX SCENES IN IT!!! Jenna my girl you have totally out done yourself in this book. Since I am unable to write more please follow me on my blog to see what else I have to say. The character are Tommy, Jessi & Angel very detailed. The scenes are so clear you are there. I give this book a 10 rating

This book took a while to gain momentum, but once it did - I was fully invested! Tommy & Jessi Blade are a hard-edge, no-holds-barred, married couple, that are looking to make a name for themselves in the Rock-n-Roll life. I absolutely LOVE Jessi - she's strong, she's sweet, and she's the manager of indie-guitar god Tommy. While married, their relationship isn't one of "normal" convention..Tommy is bisexual and they indulge his sexuality together. (very sexy) Immortal Angel is currently in the market for a guitar player, and Angel Garcia has his sights set on Tommy Blade! When Tommy shows up for an "interview/jam session" with the band - neither man is prepared for what they see! This story took a while to develop, but when it finally came to - what a ride it was!!! The characters are well developed, they're like-able, and I could empathize with each of them. The love between Jessi & Tommy just stole my breath - Jessi is just so strong willed, and selfless, and passionate, their love is just refreshing. I must say that I've never read m/m/f menage (usually m/f/m), but this story wasn't about sex - it was about self-less love and acceptance.
The prince of punk rock is book #1 in the Radical Rock Stars Series and the first book I have read by this author. I was gifted a copy of the book to read for Gemma Reads Too much.
I love a good Rock star book they tend to be debaucherous men who you always know are gonna hit the spot on the sex front.
This book was defiantly different!!
I’ve read several threesome and polygamist stories but none of them ever had the m/m twist. Those stories have always centred around the woman and hell that’s pretty hot.
This book has popped my m/m book cherry and if I’m honest the sex for me was a bit meh.
Now I’m not saying that the sex isn’t hot and sexy because it is.
My problem is that the sex is all about the asshole!!!
The sex is all about Tommy and Angel and poor Jessi is tolerated!!!
The m/m thing doesn’t bother me; it just also doesn’t do anything for me either.
Personally the dynamic of this book is just a bit weird, to each their own if it makes you happy but truthfully is this threesomes happy??
Both Angel and Jessi would be happy if the other weren’t around
I had absolutely no idea how much I would enjoy this story. I was never a huge fan of rock stars - I am now. I never took much interest in M/M relationships - I will definitely not skip this type of story line again - Ever!! Fantastic characters for sure. Jessie has known about her husbands interest in men since they have been married. But she didn't care. She has loved Tommy, all of him. He was just going to have to trust her love. She would indulge in her husbands enjoyment of "candy". It used to be just a one night stand to cure Tommy's cravings, but that was until Tommy met Angel. It is entirely possible that everyone's world was about to be turned upside down. Angel tempted Tommy, teased, chemistry was electric between the two of them. Can the lead singer and the guitar player find the missing link for themselves without crushing what Tommy loves and hold dear to himself?
The story takes your imagination to the next level! Alyson is brilliant and writes an outstanding story...I am looking forward to the second book in the series!!! Thank you for opening my mind to some serious passion!
I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.
This book is plays out just like in the synopsis. The Prince of Punk is one smoking hot rock and roll fantasy where the boy gets everything he ever wanted - a hot wife, a hot boyfriend and a hot band playing sold out venues. It’s not as easy living the life…especially when you share your bed with your wife and your gay lover. Emotions run high as the trio attempts to balance their lives in the bedroom, their families’ scrutiny and navigating the paparazzi. The Prince of Punk was my guilty pleasure book of the week. I read this book in one sitting… since I couldn’t look away…it was like a sexy train wreck. At times it was a little over the top/silly/wanted to smack the heroine. I have to say I am looking forward to the next book in this series to see how this story plays out.
The Prince of Punk Rock is a good read. I was a little nervous to read this story. The reviews I read where, either they really liked it or they didn't. I guess it all depends on what you like to read. In the beginning of the book it does say, "The book is for adult audiences only. It contains material which may be considered offensive by some readers." There are male/male scenes and male/male/female scenes in this story. If that is not your cup of tea then this book is not for you.
Tommy and Jessi are a married couple. Tommy also likes men. Jessi is sympathetic to Tommy's needs. She has no problem sharing him with one night stands. That changes when Angel comes into the picture. Angel is different. Tommy and Angel love each other. The three end up living together. The whole dynamic of their relationship is interesting to read. I loved Tommy, Angel, and Jessi. I can't help but worry that one of them is in for a broken heart. We'll have to wait and see when their story continues in Between a Rock and a Hard Place.
