Received it as part of a Goodreads giveaway a few days ago and have only read the first chapter and it is enough to let me know that this is going to be an enjoyable read (and I am picky). Will update when I am done :)

LOVED this book. The author created a lovable and real protagonist in Helen and made me despise her loser of a fiancé, Daniel. The pregnancy, delivery and the joys and pains that come with having newborns was so accurate, it just made Helen more realistic to me. The plot was fresh and new, not your run of the mill love story with enough twists and turns to make it unpredictable. I enjoy novels with short chapters and the epilogue really enhanced the story. Going to select my next Amanda Martin novel right now!!!

Twins

I really enjoyed this book, a HEA, with lots of twists, turns, angst, drama and wonderful characters. I even enjoyed trying to figure out what a lot of the terms meant, as the English have quite a different vocabulary from the American I am used to. There are characters you will love, and some that you will enjoy hating. I will definitely be looking for more books by this author, as I think she is very talented.

Enjoyed the story. Helen engaged to be married found out she was pregnant, after sharing the news with her fiance he kicks her out. She meets Marcio while on a photo assignment. Marcio is still reeling from his fiance calling off the wedding while standing at the alter. Even though he has sworn off women Marcio finds himself attracted to Helen.

Wonderful story. I think I like the most about the story is how it talked about the woes of mother after having a baby. We all know that can be taboo sometimes but I like how the author touched on the issues of breast-feeding versus not breast-feeding and trying to be the supermom everybody wants you to be. Great story I think women should really read this one.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It had substance and depth to it; as well as being a cracking story. The characters were rounded, but not all of them were nice! Which was fabulous, because that felt more real.
I'm harbouring a hope there'll be another that carries the story on.

Simply loved this book. The characters were richly described and totally captured my heart. I cried and hoped and got angry...ran the gamut of emotions, along with the heroine of the story. Definitely a book worth reading.

It's been a long time since I've read a British romance, and I thought this was pretty well done. The characters had to deal with real issues, similar to those in a typical Maeve Binchy novel. The writing was good, and loaded with details of everyday life, which I enjoy for this type of book.

I tried reading this a while back and I was immediately put off by her relationship with her fiancee, because that feel like an abusive relationship, and nothing she does is good enough and he's ashamed of her and what even? like, why would you be with this guy, he is AWFUL.
At 4% I was like "sorry, can't stomach this. Not gonna do it".

I didn't give this book 5 stars because the story was a bit confusing at times. I'm sure a lot of my confusion is based on the location of the story and words used. There were also parts that I felt needed a little more explanation. Other than that this was a good read and very different from what I normally read.
