Ana Andrade Nasceu em Lisboa, em 1973, mas foi no Porto que se fez gente e ao Porto decidiu regressar, depois de 14 anos fora. É licenciada em Filosofia pela Universidade de Coimbra, doutoranda em Filosofia de Ação na Faculdade de Letras da Universidade do Porto e investigadora no MLAG – Mind, Language and Action Group (FLUP). É docente na Faculdade de Direito do Porto da Universidade Católica Portuguesa, onde leciona Argumentação e Retórica, é responsável pelo Laboratório de Escrita e dá formação nas áreas do Pensamento Crítico,Comunicação e Public Speaking.
