I was excited for the grittier Mister's in this series. Antonne did not disappoint! He was still in the streets heavy, but he was also a sought-after sommelier, with dreams of purchasing a winery one day. He was feared and not to be played with, but on the other hand he was a loyal friend, who cared deeply for people. The back and forth between he and Haley was driving me crazy! Just get together already. I understood Antonne's hesitancy, especially with all that had gone down already; but you study long you study wrong! You better get ya girl, before someone else does.
Haley was a woman about her business and enjoyed her friend group. However, she wanted Antonne something serious, and couldn't understand why he wouldn't give them a shot. Year after year, she would put herself out there, and nothing. Just when she was about to give up hope, he's ready to give it a go.
Now Miss Crimson had shady tendencies right from the start, and I hoped that Antonne would pick up on something before she showed her hand. Ma'am, that revelation about Haley liked to take my damn breath away! 👀 🤯What??? How did she get that past everyone? Not sweet lil Haley? Antonne was pissed, and rightfully so, but after a talk with his dad, glad he allowed his anger to subside. Once they were together, we saw how sweet and romantic Antonne could be. He almost let his love slip away.

I wasn’t expecting this book to be 5 stars but I loved it nonetheless. Unfortunately with classes and studying it’s been taking me a while to read.

Mr. Sommelier is book eight in the Mister Series and I can say with certainty, he is nothing like others. The book is a friend’s to lovers story with a twist. There is years of built up tension, countless moments of flirting, and the ending of dead in relationships. When Antonne and Haley took things to the next level it was so obvious they were each other’s person and there would be no turning back.
B. Love surprised me with this story because I wanted to know how the title would tie in with a character such as Antonne. He was truly a jack of all trades and I respected him. As the story progressed, I learned that Antonne is a protector first, but he has other interests and goals that he wants to achieve. He was described as “a gentle gansta, romantic and sweet, but rough around the edges.” — that’s what we love!! Not only that, he has feelings for Haley that he will not act on because of his lifestyle and I thought that was admirable.. to a certain extent. Haley is more of a “free spirit” but she is the perfect partner and best friend to Antonne. I loved how she was gentle with him but also stood up for herself and what she wanted from him.
I felt their relationship moved at a faster pace, but I had to remind myself that they had years of friendships and a solid foundation prior to becoming one. It was really sweet to see things unfold. There was a couple of plot twists that I wasn’t expecting but Antonne worked swiftly to mitigate anything that jeopardized the relationship. The proposal was the sweetest, I cannot wait for the next one!

Loved it
I loved the friendship and chemistry between Antonne and Haley. I wasn’t sure who Haley was going to end up with because I liked Aiyden and Antonne. Her secret surprised me. I wasn’t expecting Crimson to do what she did and she should have known better, but she learned the hard way.
I can’t wait to read Asylum’s book, and the next book in the Mister series.

I wish the secret came sooner
The cat and mouse with Antonne and Haley took most of the story. We all knew they would get together, I just wish she had not Hot Girled with his friend. Really Haley! And for some reason I did not feel their chemistry. The storyline had some dry spells and then others I just wanted more. Haley was nervy and Antonne had me checking my watch to see what time he was on with Haley. I think the secret would have elevated the story more if we had a chance experience the twist a few chapters earlier. Overall it's a 4.0 stars read.

LOVED IT
Haley and Antonne. The perfect blend of friendship, protector, and lover. I loved their story because nothing was forced between them. No matter the timing, their union was guaranteed to be accepted by their inner circle. Antonne was the guy we would love to have. He was a beast in the streets but a gentle giant when home. Haley definitely had the pleasure of getting that gentle nurturing side of him. What I wasn't expecting was the bombshell secret Haley was keeping. But she proved whether she was preparing meals or laying dudes down she would always have Antonne's back. I can see them being the perfect team. Crimson got exactly what she deserved. Looking forward to reading Asylum's book.

My least favorite so far
While I adored Antonne it took entirely too long for him and Haley to get together it dragged on too long making me want to skip pages. Then she completely ruined any like I had for her by sleeping with one of the bros. I mean how trifling can you be. It’s bad enough they both were her brothers friends but they themselves were friends talk about grimy and hoeish. I don’t care how how much of a free spirit you are some lines just don’t get crossed. She became totally blah to me after that and so did the friend knowing his boy was feeling her. I don’t even think I wanna read his story when it comes out. Once they stopped the games the and I got past my dislike for Haley the story picked up somewhat. I do want to read Asylums book tho.

She took a bullet for this man! This was some real Mr. and Mrs. Smith type of love.
I stayed up til 2 am reading this book because I could NOT put it down. This WHOLE series has had me in a choke hold. It took me a minute to get back to it, but I'm so glad to be back in Memphis with my favorite misters and misses.
Antonne and Haley have been friends for over 5+ years. They have the same friend group. Are always at all the family functions together. Ton took a tragic loss that Haley knows nothing about. Because of that, Antonne is afraid to pursue Haley. Not wanting to lose her the same way he did his ex. Serial dater Haley thinks Ton is just being flirtatious and doesn't actually want Haley the way she wants him. Right when she's ready to give up sending hints his way. After having a heart to heart with his boys. Antonne decides he's ready to live the life he wants and that includes having Haley in his life as well. So, he slowly retires from the streets. In the midst of trying to do so. His former bosses wife staged some crazy shit that prolongs his dealings with his lifestyle. Eventually it all comes to a head and not only does Tonne have to come out and reveal some things to Haley. Haley hits him with the BIGGEST secret that shocks him SO bad he almost decides to no longer pursue her. After his Dad talks some sense into him. He realizes regardless of what he knows about her now, he can not live without her.
This was such a good read!! I could go on and on and on with this story line. What I love in just a little under 200 pages. This story was so action packed. ALSO!! The "Spicy" scenes were a TEN OUTTA TEN BABY!
On to the book #9!! I've been dying to get Supreme's back story! So glad to finally be here. <3

Every time I read a book from this series I’m thinking there’s no ways ,B.Love, can top this🤨 well I was wrong 😂 Mr.Sommelier was so darn good and has every component of what I consider a good Hood romance ,with a touch of grit, danger, crime ,suspense and surprise, surprise,surprise ! ☺️ Not to mention what takes place at the end if the epilogue 😂❤️❤️❤️

whew Chile
FINALLY!! lol I been waiting for this book for awhile now since they been dancing around each other in the other Mister books. This one was adventurous, even tho I wish a touch more but it was so good. It was fun, entertaining, and a great book. All the side characters we got updates on and already love and know so it was great to further love all the friendships and relationships. These two, they definitely frustrate you, it’s a slow burn between the two. Absolutely worth every bit of ready with a couple little plot twists that u may or may not see coming. One I saw for sure the other not so much. Per usual B didn’t disappoint and I CANNOT WAIT for Supreme’s story. Bout to go read Asylum before she drops Supreme since that’s the spin off of this book.

I loved Haley and Antonne. I honestly loved the fact they were friends first before they were lovers. I love how intentional they both were in being there for one another. The only thing I hated was that Haley slept with Ayiden. Out of everyone she could of been with a friend of Antonne and in they friend group I felt was a little tasteless. I had to take a few stars for that and the fact that Haley kept such a monumental secret from Antonne. I think it was bs especially after he was upfront with her and pouring out his guts would of been the time to open up her fucking mouth and speak. I think it was some bs and that she downplayed talking about well no one knows. That's not how you move with your soulmate and your locked in.

Antonne is bae!
Antonne was the man and I respected his hesitancy with moving forward with Haley due to his lifestyle. He just wanted to protect her. However, he was giving mixed signals and had to acknowledge that. At the same time, I side eyed Haley twice in this one. The whole situation with Aiyden was questionable. She could have chosen anyone other than someone they were both close too. I even side eyed Aiyden for allowing it to get that far if his primary reasoning for approaching was to get Antonne to step up. Both were shady for that. The other secret was big, but I low key figured she had something illegal going on.

Unsure about twist at the end
I enjoyed book 8 of the Mister series and would’ve rated it 4 stars. But for the twist at the end. It’s a little (heck, maybe not just a little) incredulous. I admit I’m not one for street violence / yakuza / triad / MC / bratva / mafia plot lines. This one was more tame on the crime elements, and more focused on the relationship of the main characters - and I enjoyed it. The characters were well-developed, interesting. They had mature attitudes and great chemistry. The sex scenes were good. But the plot twist was unnecessary. I still enjoyed it.

OUTSTANDING!!!!!!
I waited until I read all 8 series’s of Mister to leave my review. All I can is B. Love you’re the Goat with your story lines and writing. Reading this series makes you learn love languages that are incredibly powerful and insightful. It aids in understanding both species of people and teaches you how to develop your own love language and life. I loved each series and the love developed in each character; you are the epitome of writing and taught me so much about my own life struggles in my love life. 5 stars in this series is not enough.

Absolutely loved it!
This well written friends to lovers story was exciting and flowed well. Mister Sommelier, Antonne, was definitely a rough around the edges romantic protector. He and Haley remained friends for five years, with each of them wanting to be more than friends with each other. I was shocked to find out about the protector in Haley, but their likes and differences made them perfect for each other. Crimson got just what she deserved. Although Asylum isn’t a Mister, I’m looking forward to reading about him.

Antonne and Haley have liked one another for five years. Haley is spoiled and always used to getting her way. She was bratty and annoying at times and with neither one of them admitting their feelings, came assumptions. Antonne had really great and hurtful reasons for why he decided to it to pursue Haley but his heart was making it difficult. As much as I loved Haley and Antonne story, this ending for Asylum made my heart fall in my stomach!!!...Why would his wife just leave him like that or not just leave him hints she wad in trouble!!!... I was hoping to hear more about Supreme,so I hope he has something in the making!!!...Overall, this was a good book and I was so happy to see The 2 Stinks get their love story because they dance around each other for a long time!!!...

Mister Sommelier
The title throws you off but with good intentions. Antonne is a protector as well as a gangster. He is also a man who knows and appreciates the finer things in life. I love how vulnerable he is with his friends and family. He loves Haley to no end, and she loves him just as fiercely. This is the first book of the Mister series that I've read. I will be reading the others.

Conflicted By Cheriè Charcuterie
Hmmmm, I’m a little disappointed with “Mister Sommelier (The Mister Serial - Book 8). This book was only a better read thanks to Antonne. He earned my respect, by now allowing business, pleasure and family to commingle. Thereafter, I had reservations about both Crimson & Haley. Maybe, this assessment is premature or it’s the revelation of the relationship …🤨😲😡 I’m conflicted by Ms. Cheriè Charcuterie.

Oh My Goodness I loved this. 💞💞💞Loved Antonne and Haley. There are a lot of surprises in. Love the touch of mystery and suspense. If you have not read the Mister series you have truly missed out. This story touch on betrayal, what you see isn't always the truth. The ones closes to you sometimes is not who they seem to be🤔🤔🤔🤔. Kudos to the author👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 keep writing and I will keep reading💫💫💫

OMG!!!
Even though it took them five years to finally get together their friendship was strong enough to withstand anything that would come to them. For the betrayal Crimson got exactly what she deserved, just because she couldn't get what she wanted she came up with strategies to get what she wanted but when her last scheme backfired Antonne was finally able to get away from that life and.live the dream he was meant to with his wife, best friend, ride to die, protector Haley.

Amazing
I've read all the books in the Mister Series. All of them have been amazing. The close but group of friends and their woman have turned a community family that is a awesome. I look forward to many more. I've also read a few other books outside of this series. Looking forward to more. Though the street life is a scary world. The love these men and women have for each other is beautiful. Making changes to better themselves and protect as b other is what real love is.

Mister Sommelier (The Mister Series Book 8)
Whew, wheeeeee! This was a slow burn leading up to a few characters that belonged on the outside looking in when it came to Antonne's work life. Characters like Christina, Crimson, and Hank, to name a few. Haley was a little unsettled in her free spirited, independent way, but things were wrapped up better for her towards the middle of the story. Yes, the ending was syrupy sweet...😋. Yummers!

The best Mister’s ever
I absolutely love this Mister series. All of them were write beautifully. Antonne with his I gotta be the best protector out there couldn’t even protect his own heart. There were times in the book that had me scratching my head and having to read back for clarification but all in all this was a really good read. A bit sad that Asylum was introduced in this book but out before this book, or did I read out of order? Good read good read.

I really enjoyed this book from beginning to end and I was happy that Haley and Antonne got their happily ever after. These two were the perfect partners in every way and completed each other. I loved the way they loved each other and finally admitted to their feelings for each other. I’m looking forward to reading about Asylum next.
