THE THIRD WITCH

Rate this book
Most of Rachael's family has gone home. Unfortunately, they left Aunt Myrtle behind. It doesn't take her long to hook up with two like-minded cronies, a local witch Moondance, and their talented kleptomaniac neighbor Dora. Between the three, can mayhem be far behind? That's rhetorical. Of course it can't. They have a great time portraying MacBeth's three witches. The play is being staged at COST, a local church of dubious pedigree, but outstanding character. Between unexplained "accidents", unauthorized wine brewing, loss of pie privileges at the Pie Goddesses cafe, and stories from the past that seem to be continuing into the present, Rachael is at her wit's end trying to handle things. Once again, she renews her belief that lucky can be better than smart.
