**ARC provided by author in exchange for an honest review**

Again Jennifer Foor has given us a wonderful story. This book was Joey's side of the story from Replace Me ( Book 2 ) I was so glad that we got his side of the story, because I remember quite a few times while reading Replace Me wondering what Joey was thinking or feeling in certain spots. Well this book definitely answered all of my questions. This was another great addition to this series.

Now I have to be honest….I loved Joey when we met him in Replace Me, but I will say that I wasn't to fond of him in the beginning of Restore Me. I know what you're thinking he is the same character, but when we got his side of the story you find out things that I wasn't to thrilled with, but never fear by the end I was back in love with Joey.

If you have read Replace Me then I strongly suggest you read Restore Me also. Yes it is the same story, but Jennifer was able to add enough extra stuff that it made the book still feel fresh and new to me. If you are a Jenn Foor Fan then you don't want to miss this book/series.

5 Amazing Brilliant Stars!!

Do not read if you are yet to read Replace Me.

You know when you read a really good story and it’s from the female POV and after you have finished, you wish that you could hear what the guy (who you have usually fallen in love with) in the book was thinking and feeling, well how excited do you think we were when we heard Jenn4 was writing Joey's novella?

We are all still swooning over him (and fighting over him) after Replace Me so we were jumping for joy!!!

We couldn't wait for his POV after everything he had been through with Lacey and once again Jenn did not disappoint.

Lacey could never understand the impact that she had over my actions. She'd restored a part of me that had been locked away. My heart.

Joey is a player he has the reputation as a ladies man. He has it sorted, a weekly schedule of girls he can toss between the sheets or other places (lol) and walk away with no strings attached. He also likes to keep a souvenir from each of his conquests, shall we say. It's the perfect set up for him and some of the girls. Joey doesn't do relationships and frankly doesn’t want one. His mother told him never to give his heart to a girl; she would only break it……

Moving in to his own place next door to his cousin Ford he meets Sky's best friend Lacey. Another girl he can add to his schedule, although Lacey isn't falling for his charms that normally has the ladies swooning over him. He thinks if he can just sleep with her once he can get her out of his system.

But Lacey gets under his skin and is about to turn his life upside down...

Lacey has made Joey second guess his way of life, he wants a piece of Lacey and once he gets it he begins to deal with an internal struggle, something he has never had to do with before. He's starting to develop feelings for her; he doesn't know what to do with how he is feeling, so he keeps Lacey at arm’s length.

Joey is fighting a losing battle with himself, the feelings he has for Lacey are real, he has never opened his soul or given his heart to another women. Although he has let Lacey in, he can't tell her how he really feels with fears he has looming.

When Lacey breaks his heart he decides to accept a job offer in Italy, Lacey has now made it clear that she doesn't want him anymore so he puts his career first.

Whilst working in Italy he has a women throwing herself at him, Joey isn't over Lacey and can't think of being with any another women. This woman is relentless and she wants Joey and is pulling out the big guns to sleep with him. Should he sleep with her for the sake of his job and to try to get over Lacey?

When Lacey appears on his doorstep in Italy Joey thinks he can finally start something real but finding a way to be together and finish off his work in Italy isn't easy. They love each other fiercely but love isn't enough, and Lacey runs home scared and cuts Joey out of her life. After a long struggle with his emotions, Joey doesn't give up and finally opens up and tells Lacey exactly how he feels but living in a different country makes having the girl you want hard. Lacey breaking Joey's heart is the only time I (Kristy) disliked Lacey.

"I'm going to fuck up at some point, because I've got no idea how to be in relationship"

"You're doing great"

"I'm so in love with you"

Restore Me gave us an insight into who other characters in the book were and we got an look into what went on in their lives.

Being inside Joey's head and reading what he was feeling was awesome, to see what it was like for him to change his way of life because of one woman. We saw him dealing and coming to terms with the fact that he wanted more, learning how to express his feelings and learning loss, heartbreak and love. To say we fell in love with Joey all over again is a slight understatement. We couldn't get enough and didn't want to put this book down.

Our own personal thoughts

Kristy - I loved Joey in Replace Me. Sometimes books written again from the males POV are hard to connect with, it feels like you are reading the exact same book. Restore Me did not feel that way, I felt like I was reading a completely different book, I had some insight to who the characters were. I loved being inside Joey's head and reading what he was feeling. Seeing what it was like for him to change his way of life with women, dealing and coming to terms with the fact that he wanted more, learning how to express his feelings and learning loss, heartbreak and love. I fell in love with Joey all over again. I couldn't get enough and didn't want to put this book down once I started.

Catherine - I loved Joey in Replace Me and in this book, finding out his thoughts and feelings and the emotional fight he had with himself made me want to have his babies!!!!
I loved this book, maybe more than Replace Me?!?! Maybe it's cause it's from the guys POV, I don't know but what I do know is that I can't wait for more from this series! Jenn rocks!

Kayla - I fell in love with Joey in Replace Me, yes he seemed cocky and so sure of himself but I always thought deep down there had to be something we were not getting from him. He was scared to have a relationship, to fall in love. He had seen how it had affected so many of his family members. When he opened up to Lacey and did manage to tell her how he felt he didn't hold back.

Emma – Joey Joey Joey I was routing for him In Replace Me but reading his thoughts and feelings in this book I fell in love even more. A player who never wanted to settle down we read about it all the time but this felt different to me, I loved how in this book he was really fighting with himself over and over but once he gave in omg was it electric.

Think it’s safe to say that we can't wait to get our hands on Remember Me.

Wow - Joey wasn't what I expected! In Replace Me we met Joey, but we never knew what he was thinking. Restore Me tells us the same story of Lacey and Joey, but only from Joey's perspective. For being a supposed player he wasn't what I expected. Lacey had a bigger influence on his life than he was willing to admit for a long time, but as one of my favorite passages says, was she worth it? And now a bit about the story...

Joey is hard a work for his mom (his second job) when he first sees her. She is HOT! But she is with his cousin Ford's cousin Shayne. What he wouldn't give to add her to his schedule. She'd fit in nice between Porsche and Candace! Then after his mom convinces him it is time to get a place of his own he comes face to face with her and she is free of Shayne. Now just to get her - he uses his cocky ways to get close to her, but to his surprise she is worming her way into his heart. What will he do when she breaks it! And why can't he seem to perform with other women now ... what has she done to him!

Favorite passages:
- It was one of my NAN rules.
 No strings.
 Always protected.
 No feelings...ever!
- My mother took out the last bag of trash and came in to say she was leaving. “Before you go, I think it’s a good idea to tell your cousin you’re movin’ in. I’m real proud of you, son.” I hugged her. “Thanks. What happens if I have a bad dream?” I pretended to act like a child.
- The game had already been thrown out the window. I was diving into uncharted territory with a woman that made me feel things I didn’t want to feel.
- He had no idea how spot on he was. “No woman will be gettin’ in my head.”
- I just didn’t know if I was willing to change my life for a piece of ass, no matter how good it was.
- You make me feel alive and like nobody ever has before...
- In that little amount of time, she’d shown me what it was like to want to be with someone and then taken it all away.

If you read Replace Me then you know Joey. We get his POV and now get to hear all his thoughts. Loved this!

Joey first sees Lacey while working at his Moms diner. They don't ever actually speak, but Joey takes notice of the cute blonde that smells like candy right away. She is on a date with Shayne at that time so Joey figures he doesn't need to bother with introducing himself.

Joey is used to getting women. He is definitely a play boy. While going back and forth between Porsche, and Candace he still can't get Lacey out of his head. He doesn't do relationships. He's not used to thinking about the same woman all the time. His emotions are all over the place and we see from his POV how all this plays out.

After getting his own place Joey crosses paths with Lacey once again but this time there is no Shayne. That gives Joey the go ahead to try and swoon Lacey.

Lacey isn't like the usual girls Joey dates. She doesn't give into his charm right away, and Joey isn't sure how to handle rejection. He's used to having ladies coming out of the wood work! At the drop of a hat the ladies come to Joey!

Restore me of course brings the heat! Get out a fan because you will need it! I love revisiting these two again through Joey's eyes. There will be times you will be yelling at him, and wonder can one woman really change his play boy ways?! Or will Lacey just be another notch on Joey's bed post? You will have to read to find out.

I give Restore Me 5 GIANT stars!! Love everything Jennifer Foor writes! You will fall in love with these characters all over again.

I'm am so damn happy to have Joey's point of view, "sh**, you let me know when you want to experience what a real man can do to you. I don't need to wear a pair of lifeguard shorts to get pu**y, that's for sure." Joey always makes sure to clear things up, "I don't eff, who**es. I eff beautiful women cause they ask me to eff them. Keep playing hard to get. I love the challenge." He is a crude one that's for sure, "woman, I can have whatever I want, because I don't stop until it's mine. Most people don't have a set of these to push them along." I took a hand full of my balls and shocked the sh** out of her." I loved being inside his mind it's much more dirties than Lacey's, "it satisfied me to no end that she'd let me eff her without protection."

0% Finally back with original for a bit :) I'm really nervous to start this as I wasn't really a big fan of the second book especially of Lacey and Joey :/ maybe joeys POV will help?? Either way my reading time is very very limited for the next few months I have so many deadlines as its my final year :( hopefully I'll enjoy this but I'm really unsure :/

4% Women were put on this planet to mate with us men. Their bodies were created to entice and satiate us. I was grateful and eager to sample whenever the offer was made. Of course, I'd become picky, selecting the finest for my little circle of "friends". These selected women knew what they were there for and they knew when the fun was over that I'd get up and leave
Yh I'm not liking Joey.... I hope he becomes more likeable - he was okay in the last book I liked him in the end but he's coming across as abit of a dick here atm!

28% I knew I had to say something; to do something to show that I wasn’t the asshole that everyone thought I was. I wanted her to see me as someone that cared. I leaned over and kissed her on the shoulder
Joeys definitely acting like an asshole... I hoped that maybe joeys POV would make me love him n lacey but so far I'm still not really fussed about them :/ hopefully ill connect soon - hopefully Joey will also become more lovable coz if I remember I was starting to like him at the end of the last book :)

30% I could feel the chemistry between us and every time her lips touched mine, I wanted her more. It wasn’t just about rubbing one off either. I wanted to experience what this girl was like. Still, I knew I had to be careful with her. “Once you cross this line, there ain’t no goin’ back, Lace. When I get you naked and take you to my bed, it’s my rules, so you need to decide if that’s somethin’ you want. I’ve played this cat and mouse game with you, just waitin’ for you to admit that there’s somethin’ between us. I can wait longer, if I need to.” I kissed her and walked away for a second, letting my words sink in
Okay I'm starting to see the Joey I liked from the last book :) hopefully he stays around - it might make the book 3 stars coz I'm thinking about 2 stars so far :)

31% As they spoke, I found myself feeling something that I’d never experienced before. I was jealous and that could only happen if I liked this chick a lot more than I should have
Gotta admit I'm surprised that it's taken Joey this long to realise that he likes Lacey more than he normally likes a girl :) but I like the image of him all of sudden being aware that he's in a situation he hasn't been in before :)

35% I hated what happened to me when it involved Lacey, but just feeling her tongue brushing against mine, kept me wanting more from her. She wasn’t like Candace or any of the other women that I had arrangements with. The fragile woman was different and I needed to have my head straight before I started having real feelings for her
Definitely liking Joey more now :)

38% My heart was beating fast, because I knew she was reeling me in. For the first time, I’d let her take control of this game we were playing. If I didn’t get my shit together, Lacey would have me by the balls. I swallowed the hard knot in my throat thinking about it
Oh poor Joey haha this is so far out of his norm :)

48% I could see how bad she was shaking as I got closer. I placed my hand on her shoulders and began massaging them. “Sorry
That was a dick more Joey! I know you didn't mean it and you've apologised but still dick move! Also don't like that you've gone here in the first place :/

50% Lacey was fragile and unlike earlier with Candace, I needed to be more sensitive
I like the difference between the two women! He has more of a mind to Lacey and her feelings which I really like :)

53% I backed up and shook my head, feeling quite embarrassed over my sudden predicament. “Fuck!
Okay I have toad it I fucking love that! Haha poor Joey though hahah

58% Her tongue applied pressure to the vein in the back, making me grab the sheets and close my eyes
I love how Lacey can affect Joey :D

59% How was I going to be able to keep her around if I didn’t know the first thing about being in a relationship. All of my years of sexual experimentation had left me without the simple knowledge to hold on to this beautiful woman and I hated myself for it. My mother had been right all along. Now I was knee deep up shit’s creek and didn’t know my ass from my face. This was going to hurt
Oh Joey! I'm really liking him atm but my heart already hurts for him coz I know what's coming :(

66% The worst part about it was that it wasn’t just the sex, or how beautiful she was without clothes. I missed her company, especially at night
For the first time I actually believe it's more then sex between Joey and Lacey :) that was one of the things I struggled with most in the first book :)

68% I wasted no time getting out of there
Hmmmmm I dno how i feel about that? :/

72% I had it bad and the truth sank in, I knew I was going to have to make some changes. My family and friends were right all along. From the first moment I touched her, I think I knew she was something special. We started talking on the phone, at least once a day. It was good hearing her voice before I called it a night, although my sleeps were restless and the bed seemed extra large
I'm glad we're finding out this sort of stuff I don't remember knowing that before - it helps me connect with them to know they're not just having sex all the time :)

73% One thing I knew for sure was that I wanted this with her. I was ready to call a woman my girlfriend and as soon as she came in and got comfortable, I was going to tell her. While still holding her from our welcome kiss, she started trying to back away. “We need to talk about something
OMG this is so much worse knowing what Joey was planning... :'(

81% I’d never, in my entire life, gotten so emotional. My eyes were burning and I knew then that what I was feeling was real
Oh poor Joey :(

87% To reassure that we were on the same page, I sat down on the couch next to Lacey after dressing for work. She’d calmed down a little and I felt like we were on the same page without having to explain it. “I’ll be back in time to take you out for dinner. Promise me, you’ll still be here.” She nodded. “Yeah.” When I walked out of my apartment I felt confidant that things were going to fall into place. I could play out our future in my head and it made me happy. Lacey would show me how to be the man she needed and I was prepared to change for her and for us
oh no :( These two never fully communicate and its hurting my heart seeing what Joey was thinking knowing what happens next :(

89% Feeling more alone than ever in my life, I cried. I stood in the shower and cried like a pussy because she was gone and I felt sorry for myself. I couldn’t see a simple solution. Feeling rejected was the worst. I’d been thinking that I was the best she’d ever had. She’d even stated it in her note, but obviously that wasn’t true. She was giving me up, probably because I wasn’t good enough for her
Oh Joey!! :'( :'(

93% I came all this way to chase this girl. You see, I don’t chase women, but this one slipped away from me. She thought she was doin’ the right thing, I suppose. She didn’t get that I would have done anything to keep her with me. She didn’t understand that my future was nothin’ without her in it
Aww Joey!! :D

99% I’m tellin’ you the truth, Lace.” She looked right at me. “I believe you
Aww yay :)

100% I definitely liked this more than the last - i preferred joey and lacey here :) i still wasn't a big fan of the sex scenes here (never thought id day that!) I dno if its how their written or what :/ either way better than the last :D 3.5 stars rounded down to 3 :)

A four star read.
I was gifted a copy in exchange for an honest review.
In this full companion novel to Replace Me we get to learn Joeys secrets and find out how he feels about Lacey and falling in love with her.
Must be read in order to fully understand this book.
Repair Me Book 1
Replace Me Book 2

This book is told all in Joeys POV.
We find out why he is the way he is when it comes to women and we get to find out how he really felt the first time he met Lacey.
I really enjoyed the fact that this was not a retelling of Replace Me even though after he meets Lacey a few interactions that they had in Replace Me is told from his side.
We get to meet the woman Lacey saw him with when she ran to Italy to try to bring him back home. That woman by the way is nothing but a b***h. You will see why when you read this book.
One thing I noticed so far in this series is that all of the men who are cousins in some ways are trying to put they sleeping around days behind them and really settle down with just one girl. Jennifer is an awesome writer and I'm really enjoy reading her books.

You want to read a great male POV - Don't miss this ! If you met Joey Billings in Replace Me ( book 2 in the Kin series) you got to see a glimpse of him. In Restore Me (book 2.5 not a novella a full novel) you get all of him. You don't just get the story from Replace me told in his POV you get his back story. Joey is so full of himself but see what make him tick and why he tries to keep Lacey a casual thing. As you read the book you will learn what he was going through when was with Lacey. When I was reading this I felt a bit put off by his arrogance and like he used women as a self defense mechanism to not allow himself love. In the end I loved seeing him and his wiliness to accept love in his life

Love, love, love Joey. Honest to a fault, dedicated to his family and passionate. He has a group of women that he has arrangements with- no strings just fun. And it works…until it doesn’t. What happens when the NAN rules don’t cut it?

I love male POV. So much fun to be in their heads. Reading as he falls for Lacey- against all of his plans- is fun. And at times heartbreaking! He has a hard time and funnily sounds like a girl sometimes. His family is awesome and his brother Jamey is going to get in to trouble!

While I wanted to shake both Joey and Lacey sometimes their story was incredible. And once Joey realizes what is going on he is all in. Now to get Lacey on board! Another wonderful story in the Kin series!

This story was just a repeat of Replace Me. BUT that was not a bad thing. In Replace Me we only saw Shayne & Lacey but Joey was a huge part of that book so it was really nice being in his head. It painted a whole new picture of him. Not quite what I had pictured, but still really good. There were so many times when I was wondering what was going on and it was fun being able to finally see it. I also loved that it took us a bit further into their future. Again this book just kind of leaves you with no real set in stone outcomes it is more left up to your imagination. Plus I know we will see everyone in the books to come so that is nice. If you read Replace Me then you MUST read this book it just enhances the story. I enjoyed it.

Joey, oh Joey, loved him in the other book and I didn't think I would enjoy him more, well I was wrong. Beibg able to see his POV and watch as his feelings for Lacey mess up his man whore lifestyle, first he didn't realize, but before long he did and he liked the changes and couldn't go back, even though he tried.

A coupke of the sex scenes were so much hotter from Joey's POV, including the chocolate sauce in the kitchen.....OMG, hot hot hot! Although the story is the same this book is not a rewrite, it is definitely worth a read.

I love Jennifer Foor's books especially the Mitchell Family Series. I also enjoyed the first two Kin Series books, however Restore Me was not what I was hoping. From beginning to end I did not like Joey at all. He is a man-whore from beginning to end. I did like him at times in Replace Me but reading his POV in Restore Me made me cringed at his thoughts and reasoning's to justify his being a total man-whore and not wanting to be in a committed relationship.

I will read more of Jennifer's books that's a must!!!

Good story. I think Joey should have told Lacey about Gia.

Yes they weren't together, he would want to know if she had been about to hook up with some guy tho.
I'm glad he told her about Candace, Sam and the last girl.

Honesty is a must in relationships.

I'm glad Lacey never went back to Shayne. He wasn't right for her at all.

I feel a little bad for Ashley cuz of how much Shayne's family hates her, she did it to herself though.

You can't threaten people and try to tie them down to you by faking who the father of your child is.

Joey disappointed me. I didn't mind the scheduled girls but I didn't like the double standard. Lacey came clean and admitted that she slept with Shayne yet Joey kept silent about Candace and Samantha. When he knew Lacey wanted full disclosure after getting burned by all of Shayne's lies. Then he has the nerve to get angry. Joey can do it but she can't? No fucking way!

The final straw though was when we found out Joey's intentions with the boss's wife in Italy. Disgusting! Okay I'm officially done with this series.

I didn't really know how to rate this because I already gave replace me 3 stars and the only reason it got 3 instead of 1 is because of Joey. so this got a 3. it sucked that joeys pov was a different book. replace me should have been joeys pov and laceys pov.it would have made more sense. shayne is already getting another full story. I have to take a break from this story. I will read on once I read a couple of other books. these characters are seriously getting on my nerves. ford and sky were awesome. joey not as awesome but still up there. everyone else...annoying.

When you go to read this story(and you will want to) don't make the same mistake I did. I thought that since I already knew the story I could read the first the first few chapters and then maybe skim some. WRONG. Joey had so many thoughts in his head, I had to know them all. Then there were those "no don't do it moments". Joey is still not my favorite book boyfriend, but I've come to understand him a bit better.

I am always a little bit hesitant to read a book from the other main characters POV because they can be either really good, or really bad. Jennifer Foor does a great job of giving you Joey's history with women and how he became the way he was. It was a good read and the story flowed really well. If you liked the other books in this series, you will like this one.

I enjoyed the story especially because i loved Joey, Although I found myself confused at times, only because it has been a while since reading the 1st part. It was more that I felt I forgot and needed more clarification. Some things needed more detail. I like when Jenn goes back and forth with POV better, she does it so well.

I love Joey! And I liked reading from his perspective... Usually I avoid these types of books because I've already read the basic story previously but there were scenes in this book (for example when he's in Italy) that gives us an insight into how he's thinking a feeling. Defo liked this book better :)
