Good read did not expect the endin however it left unanswered questions. Stay tuned 4 more

Lisa and Donell have been an item for years. She even waited for him while he was incarcerated for 6 of the 8 years they were together but his absence gave his best friend Chino the all clear to make a move on his woman. "Things just happened" according to Lisa, but neither she nor Chino were ready to let Donell know what went down behind his back. Lisa's guilt slowly ate away at her and after an unforseen tragedy strikes and Chino's disloyalty puts a target on his head, Lisa made a decision but her choices ended in a deadly result.
There was an issue with editing in this book that a little proofreading could have taken care of, but overall, this book held my attention from start to finish. It was like watching an action movie. Although I knew the characters next move, there were still plenty of heart pounding moments. I will admit, after the ending I was wondering how in the world there could be another book in this series, so it will be interesting to see what this author comes up with to bring this story back to life.

All I can say is wow!!! Blunt kept me wanting to know more when it came to this book. Lisa was naïve to some things and wrong for falling for Chino. But I guess you really can't expect her to wait while her man was locked up for 6 years. But the best friend though? Chino seriously needs some help and needs to think things through. It took some friends on both sides being hurt or even killed for them to want to do right. I'm glad Lisa finally saw that the Dr. was a good man and married him. Just found out there's a part 2 and I can't wait to see what this once cheatin' woman is going to do now that her lover/baby daddy isn't dead.

This was a really good read. I have to say at one point I wasn't feeling Chino he made some very bad choices that put a lot of people in danger. As far as Lisa goes she didn't know who she wanted to be with, Donell, Chino or Chris, she started getting on my nerves. I can't wait to read book 2 to find out what happens next. Don't pass this series up you won't be disappointed.

This was my first read by Blunt, but it won't be my last. This book was the bomb.com. I t started off lukewarm, but then it heated up. This love triangle started with Lisa and Chino liking each other while Donnell was locked up. Now they can't seem to stop liking each other, but times are hard and Chino does the wrong thing. I wish Lisa the best towards her marriage. I can't wait for part 2.

This book get a five star cause it had my interest to the end of the book. I didn't like bthe fact that Chino use kids as killers in a grown man war. Lisa is a trip fucking boyfriend best friend now she had a baby now question who really is the daddy of baby boy is it her ex boyfriend or his best friend. Blunt keep up the good work,

Wow!
I have to admit, I wasn't feeling it in the beginning but it sure picked up. I only put it down to sleep. I got drawn into it and could imagine the characters in my mind. This turned out to be a really good book. I didn't see where it was going but I liked where it went.

this was fire great from the time I started reading it til finishing it. great book great author. hoping there I'd a second part. Wow! oh let me say the title might suggest that it is as mushy book but don't be fooled. the whole story was way different then what I thought it would be.

Is Chino still alive?! There's so much going on in this book. I still can't figure out why Lisa sees in Chino? What does Darnell see in Lisa? What does Dr. Brennan see in Lisa? It looks like Lisa is going to be the down fall of these men.... Lawd have mercy!

I didn't like what happened to Chino. I enjoyed the book, getting ready to read part 2. I thought Lisa was not loyal at all. She was too naive.
