Found Mage is a dual POV fantasy romance with sexual content suitable for readers 18+. All books in the Creloras series can be read as a standalone, but they are ordered chronologically.
Kyrial is forced to leave her life behind upon discovering she can use magic—an offense punishable by execution in her country of Crenden. Starting anew, she makes a life for herself as Lia. Her days are spent wandering the countryside, where she happens upon a prince from the neighboring country of Hiras and his two friends.
Prince Remir Nepheln is immediately taken with Lia and, over the years, finds he is unable to imagine a future that doesn't include her. Until he discovers that she has become involved with his enemy and is responsible for the deaths of dozens of his soldiers.
Remir vows to make Lia pay for her betrayal. After all, she was his first. His to conquer. His to kill.
I write fantasy romance stories with easy world building, a helping of spice, and strong FMCs who discover their own worth and save themselves. If you’re a fan of banter and character driven stories, check out some of my work.
When I’m not writing, you can find me playing video games, sketching, driving around aimlessly, or reading an unhealthy amount of romance novels.

I really enjoyed this one, but I do enjoy all of her books soooo. My favorite things about them are the modern dialogue within a fantasy world. My brain doesn’t have to brain too hard while reading them and the banter is always SO SO good!! I obviously love Lia/Kyrial and Rem, but I adore the side characters as well, they kept me laughing throughout the book.
If you’ve read Kathryn’s other series, I will say this one is a little darker than those, so be sure to check the TW!
I’m going to say this loudly for those in the back ‘READ THIS BOOK! Drop whatever you’re doing, skip over the books piled on your TBR list and jump into Kathryn Moore’s new novel ‘Found Mage’ !!!
There’s a reason Kathryn Moore is my new favorite author, she doesn’t disappoint! ‘Found Mage’ is her second novel and reading it you would think it’s her 20th!
‘Found Mage’ introduces us to Kyrial who has left all she knows behind upon discovering she can use magic which sadly is punishable by death in her kingdom. While trying to start a new life under the name ‘Lia’, she stumbles upon Prince Remir who becomes entranced with her. But of course there’s a war coming which will test just how much they really know about each other.
I loved the chemistry between Kyrial and Remir, with the spice being 🥵🔥 I’m not ashamed to say there were a few scenes that I read more than once! The scene in the cell 😮 the tent 😍 AND the castle 🥵 had my heart pounding for more than a few reasons!
Had me hooked at the first ‘Good Girl’ ! 😉
Kathryn Moore draws you in and makes you really feel for the characters. I really liked the time jumps where you got more of a back story to Kyrial/Remir relationship and how they alway seems to find their way back to each other.
‘Miss me?’ 😍
‘I’m over here, getting d*cked down on the regular by a big, handsome Hiram man. An experience you two could also be enjoying if you’d stop being so damn stupid.’ 😂😂
‘I’m done pretending that you’re anything but mine. Completely. Wholly. Mine.’ 🥺
I was so excited for this release! I didn’t waste anytime devouring this book and you shouldn’t either! And don’t forget to check out ‘Under the White Oak’ book as well! Both are 🔥🔥

Thanks so much for the Acknowledgement @k.moore.smut 🥺 Us bookworms gotta stick together!
This book was addicting! Every single time I got to a point where I thought things were going smooth-BAM the author said not a chance lol!! It was entertaining and so enjoyable 💜!
Found Mage had epic banter, magic and adventure. It had insta love, that turned to enemies that turned to lovers. There was spice and a FMC that can save herself 🙌🙌!! How refreshing, am I right or am I right!!
I loved the way things flowed in this book, but also went against the grain at the same time. It was almost like a dichotomy of a typical romantasy, while still having new angles and a refreshing storyline & characters… speaking of characters- I loved them all. However, Lucien is my fave 😜😜!! Even the side characters had great depth & I thought they brought a lot to the table.
The FMC really goes through some growth and ends up being so confident in the end, which I am always👏here👏for👏!!

5 ⭐️’s for this one!! And the spice is 🤌🤌🔥🌶️🌶️
Thank you so much to the author for my copy and for the acknowledgement 🥹😊!! P.S. now I’m in the mood for dried apricots The author provides not only a map, but also a PRONUNCIATION GUIDE 🤌🤌 and I love that for us readers!!!!
Thanks so much to Kathryn Moore for the opportunity to read and review this book!
Found Mage is a standalone fantasy romance. Nine years ago, Remir meets an unexpected stranger in the forest. Lia is on the run after discovering she has magic in a realm where possessing magic is dangerous. Through the years, their love grows but is destined to break. Now, Remir vows to have his revenge against Lia, no matter how much he still loves her.
This book was a fantastic read! I loved Lia - she was such a strong character and I enjoyed her story. Remir was a great character too! I enjoyed his PoV and he was a great match for Lia. I’m such a junkie for the “friends to lovers to enemies to reluctant allies” trope and this book did that beautifully! I personally would have liked a bit more of the groveling phase as it felt just a smidge rushed, but that’s a “me” issue and not a book issue.
Overall this was a fantastic 4 star read for me! I loved the characters and the story! This book did have some darker themes so definitely check triggers if you’re sensitive. This book had some delicious spice throughout the story, so overall three flames for spice
If you’re a fan of fantasy romance with strong women, possessive men, great world building and fun banter, then absolutely pick this one up!
Found Mage gave me everything: magic, mayhem, a prince with revenge issues, and a crazy chicken (hey Doretta!) with no chill. Kyrial (aka Lia) and Remir’s slow-burn romance had me screaming at my book — years of tension, banter, betrayal, and "touch her and die" energy? Sign me up. 🔥
Add in hidden identities, forced proximity, and side characters who deserve their own spin-offs (Elias and Luce, I’m looking at you), and you’ve got a fantasy romance that hits every craving. Kathryn Moore, I will be needing more immediately.
