If you’re a fan of second chance romance, dealing with cheating exes, and encountering rough Alpha rich men with rude attitudes. This book is for you.
The book wasn’t bad, I just didn’t get the giddy feeling I get when I feel the love and chemistry between characters. Plus when Honey and CoCo was mixed up a couple times it threw me off.
This story line was okay but it just didn’t give me the wow and I hate when books leave off on a cliffhanger. I mean this book could’ve been finished in one. It could’ve all been in this one book.
Marcia was trash and I thought that from the moment I met her. She gave sneaky energy through the pages and I was tired of her.
The way I wanted to throw my phone at the ending!!😩I need part two! 😭
Okay, let me stop being dramatic- who am I kidding, I am a dramatic reader and this book checked off all my boxes - drama, fast paced, plot twists, a grumpy man in Law, a swoon worthy book bae in Streets, and audacity x 100! I can’t wait for the rest because the ending has me shook and someone has some explaining to do! Marcia & Wick need to go, as well!
This was a NTM author. I read several reviews about this book and I HAD to read it for myself! The hype of this book is warranted!! Taniece did an amazing job capturing the life of each character as their lives unfolded! Law is definitely giving BDE! His chemistry with Honey was not only surprising, but very interesting! Coco and Streets have that organic connection that’s easier to understand. I thoroughly enjoyed the different POV’s and the transitions between each scene. Not only was this story fast paced, but it also had a fascinating plot & storyline! Part 1 was the intro, now I’m anxious to read part 2.
If you’re skeptical about this book… don’t be! Believe the hype!! It’s DEFINITELY everything the readers are raving about!! ⭐️🌟⭐️🌟⭐️
Honey started off grading my nerves, then she acted like she was being forced to be with the man. At first she hated him calling him monsters. Ok but then how you flip the switch and start acting desperate for the man. I just can't, I can't stand a desperate woman or trying to make a man be with you that's not into you. Chasing a man is not cute. I just couldn't finish. I should have stop reading after she made the real disrespectful comment about his mama. But I gave it a chance and kept reading, but I give up.
This book had me on the edge of my seat from the first page because I knew it was going to good. From scandalous friends who's backstabbing without batting an eye, arranged marriage, folks coming back from the dead. Definitely is enough drama that'll keep you wondering what was going to happen next. Honey, Coco, and Dash are three siblings that learned the hard way of the meaning "Everybody is not your friend." Being the children of the Govern had many jealous of them. As humble as they were. It didn't stop the snakes from hissing. Dash was Wick best friend but Wick wasn't a friend to Dash. Wick was forever scheming and Dash going along with it kept them in trouble. Especially Dash being that his father had to always clean up his mess. One mess was out of his father hand when Dash and Wick stole from the Blanco's. It put their family in danger. It also caused his sister Honey to step up and agree to an arranged marriage with Law Blanco. Dash had no clue his so called best friend Wick had hidden animosity towards the Blanco's. Wick had another plan but Dash refuse to partake in it because he didn't want the Blanco's coming after him and his family again. I wish Dash wouldn't have met up with Wick. I already knew what was going to happen. Honey didn't realize what she got herself into when she agreed to marry Law. Law was standoffish and had rules but Honey don't follow rules. She found out why Law had commitment issues. It was funny watching the two of them together because Honey is defiant. If Law pushed. She pushed back. Law didn't want to admit it but he was falling for Honey. Somehow she bring him peace. I felt bad for Honey, Coco and their parents after what happened to Dash. But Law knew exactly who was behind it. Honey and Coco thought Marcia was their best friend but once Marcia realized Honey was engaged to marry Law. Her shady ways was coming out. I shook my head at Marcia when she showed up with Law and Streets father. Marcia ain't nothing but a gold digging, trifling, hoe. When Law told his father about Marcia. He also had to reveal why he felt his father need to leave her alone. That's when Honey learned Marcia was a jealous snake. Streets and Coco are good together. Both are laid back and mild mannered. Nothing like their siblings. Streets wasted no time staking his claim on Coco. The way this ended. Wick still haven't learned and for some reason. I believe Marcia was apart of his plan to try and take Honey. Wick thought going after Honey was going to be easy until them tables turned. The person who stepped out the shadows at Honey and Law wedding. Shocked the both of them. Especially Law.
Babyyyy! Ms. Taniece did NOT come to play! Who would have thought that all the princes of the Blanco Empire needed was unconditional genuine love? You really can't help who you love and when you come across the one, you just know! As cold and calculated as Law was, Honey is truly his soulmate. Yes, it started out as an arrangement but everything turned out for the better. Dash literally let Wick be the death of him. Even though he knew Wick was going down a dirty path, the benefit of a doubt is what got him. I don't know why he just didn't go to Law. Streets knew what he wanted and went all in. He don't play about his Coco and I love that for them both. Mama Ada don't mess around! She truly is the glue to that family, small but mighty! Marcia gatta be a fool. Even though she was messing around with Law first, when she knew what was up, that was her cue to let it go. Her gold digging ways took her to Papa Blanco and that was shot all the way down. She who wants all gets NONE! Justice is served for Dash and all hell broke loose cuz sweetieeeeeee... where did their supposed to be dead mother come from! Geesussssss kriseeeeee! Part 2 me baby cuz I can't breatheeee! Great read
This was a really great read! Had me hooked from the beginning to the end. Whew that ending I was not expecting at all.
I loved Honey she was a little firecracker. I loved the chemistry between her and Law once he loosened up with her. I’m mad he was taking her phone and locking her in the room as if she was his child or prisoner. Although I think forcing someone into marriage over a stolen car that was returned was a bit far fetched. I still loved the idea of an arranged marriage. Coco and Streets had such an organic connection maybe because they weren’t forced to marry either way I like them together. I didn’t like the way he asked to marry her and being that they weren’t forced it was too early to be proposing but hey the heart wants what the heart wants. I also wish he had waited so they would have a different wedding day.
Overall an amazing read and I can’t wait to dive into book two. This is a completed series so make sure yall check it out. 👏🏾 🔥 🖊️ 📚
Authoress Taniece really ended the book like that 🤔. I’m so glad I don’t have to wait cause Lots knows I hate cliffhanger🤷🏽♀️. I knew Marcia was up to something but damn. If with friends like this who needs enemies was a person, that heaux would be it. I feel like she ain’t going no where with her delusional azz I loved Streets and CoCo chemistry. Those two couldn’t deny their feelings if they tried. Hopefully she’ll stop running from him. Law worked my motherfudgesicklestix nerves treating Honey like she was his child🙄😡. She gave him a run for his money, and made him realize she’s more like him. These two finally settle into getting to know each other and then BOOM a Bomb is dropped and the book ends. P.S. I wanted Wick to suffer for what he did, his death was too easy, but I’m proud of Honey😁🙌🏽
Taniece never disappoints I absolutely enjoyed this book..
Now that cliffhanger just literally blew my mind because I definitely did not see that coming. Honey and Law both were forced together unconventionally but I feel that they are what the other needs. Coco and Streets are such a cute couple and I am enjoying their unique love story, they compliment each other so well. I hated to see how things turned out for Dash especially after he tried doing the right thing in the end. Dash found out the hard way that friends can be your worst enemy. Honey played no games about getting justice for Dash and I was glad karma was served. I can’t wait until part 2 drops because things have thrown me for a loop.
Okay, so I read a lot, arranged marriage is one of my favorite tropes, so maybe because I’ve read more intense arrange marriage books that this one is just boring. Honey is Naive, and weak. Girl your bff sleeping with your finance, whoop her, it don’t matter that you ain’t want him, she just showed you she grimy. Honey, really stomped off like a teenager being sent to her room 🙄 then Law telling her Wick killed Dash and she questions it because he showed up at the funeral. Girl commonsense, to throw you off! That line really heightened my annoyance with her. I downloaded this because of booktok, the reviews failed me again. 3 starts because CoCo and Streets was cute

This book was such a good read I liked the characters and I loved the fact that it wasn't typical quick blink and they are in love. HONEY and Coco were so much better off without that so called friend of theirs. I really love street for coco he gives off don't play with me vibes but he also doesn't try to act like he can't be affectionate with her. Now honey Chile those two are too much alike fr they have that magnetic pull to each other and they tried to fight It for a good amount of time but you could tell they would work well together. I can't wait for boom two because I need to know the deal with their mother.
First of all, I CAN NOT wait for Part 2. The author was smart in not putting Part 1 on this book because I was in my feelings when I got to the end and it said “To be continued.” But who have thought Honey would break the toughness of Law!? Streets and CoCo were feeling one another since day 1 so I’m not surprised by their union. The ending with Law and Streets mom possibly being alive…Whew hurry up with Part 2 please I want to see how it all plays out with the Blancos. Oh and Wick deserved tithe heel to his neck for how he betrayed his Bestfriend Dash!
Taniece I know you didn't do us like that...Yoo is their mom really alive? Did she fake her own death?...So who actually killed Wick hating tail? Lord just when the sister were accepting their truly in love with the brother's and wanna start living for love....drama and bullets start happening🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️...Oh lord how is momma Ada gonna feel about her long last daughter in law popping up out the grave😬😬...I hope Marcia stay away with her hating and gold digging self, i knew she wasn't loyal from the beginning...Im excited to see what next to come!! Great beginning of a wonderful jaw dropping series👏🏾👏🏾
Okay so let just say Law rubbed the wrong way his whole demeanor in the beginning was uncalled for. I didn’t warm up to him until later on in story. With at being said Streets was a different story he came in with his BDE all over him. My heart broke for Dash, he really was trying to do right by his family. You just can’t trust anybody and Marcia slimy tail proves my point. She too came off wrong from the jump. You always spot the jealous, ratchet gold digger types miles away. Man the cliffhanger though. If that’s who we all think it is where in heck has she been and Law is not going to take that too well either. Hope book 📕 2 is not too far behind this one.
It was an okay read. Some things just weren’t connecting for me. Like how did you start “falling” for a man you’re contracted to marry when he forces you to live in his home, takes away your phone and freedom, comes and gets you from your vacation and is emotionally unavailable. Sorry, one date and holding me while I’m grieving ain’t enough. I started off liking Honey because she was selfless in trying to save her sister but somewhere along the way I became indifferent. Streets is probably the most likable character. Marcia was an ain’t sh*t jealous so called friend. Not sure if I’ll read part two.

I'm not sure if I'm liking this book or not, I don't like how weak Honey seems to be when it comes down to Law. Honey seems to be strong and carefree person in the beginning but now she seems to be weak and allow Law to talk to her any kind of way he wants. Also How she mad at her best friend and not him! I also feel like there are pieces missing as well. I'm trying my best to continue to read this series but I'm not feeling it100% so far. I guess I'm used to the other authors books where the main women stand up for themselves. idk I'm just not really into this story, I will try my best to hang in here and hope part2 and part3 gets better.
How this ending went I need part 2 asap. I love how Law is trying cause Honey made him change for her... the real love story is Streetz an Coco... he was so sweet to her an romantic... even though Dash was a mess up he didnt need to die Wick was a hothead an jealous thats a bad combination for a so called best friend... Marcia is going to be a probelm i bet she is another supposedly best friend but jealous of Honey an Coco... Law is the man i wonder how this bout to play out with they mom not dead.
I’m left with my mouth wide open like I just know this book didn’t just end with this cliffhanger like this. Like what in the entire world is going on now. Who’s this mystery person. All I can tell a person before they start to read be prepared to have your socks knocked off. These characters in this book is something else. Each character part flowed so good and easily. Everything was perfect from beginning to end. I hate this book wasn’t a standalone because I don’t do that waiting game for long. I just hope we want have to wait to long for book 2
Law was something else hunny 😒 I wanted to reach in and slap him upside the head . He was treating her like he was her daddy or guardian smh ! I get trauma can make you act a certain way but he was extremely disrespectful 😩! But one thing I can say about honey is she gone do whatever she wants to do Periodt Pooh ! I love street and coco together 🥰! Mama Ada is my favorite person baby she just as sweet but will turn tf up if need be 🤣🤣 granny don’t play ! I hate the book ended 😩 I’m so thirsty for book 2 I need to know what happens next immediately 😮💨
I loved this book!!!…There were so many moving parts and a lot going!!!… Grandma was not a joke and she was definitely prepared to see this union through because she want that great grandbaby!!!… I love the relationship btwn the sisters and glad they were standing strong on their desire to stay celibate and did it together!!!… Marcia was a mess, can’t have the son, well I will take the daddy!!!… Broke my heart the Wick did Dash and I was glad he got what he had coming!!!… Momma’s home and it looks like there is going to be some tables shaking!!!…
Somebody got some explaining to to do. Where mama been? Wick got exactly what he deserved. He was never Dash's friend and I hate Dash even went to meet up with him. I'm glad Law opening up with Honey but after this new revelation ain't no telling how he gonna be acting. Marcia ain't no friend either and I hope Honey stays away from her. I love Coco and Streets together. I'm glad they took their own leap of faith.💙💙
I so need the rest. Honey and Cocoa are living a dream. Honey life was turned upside down but she stuck around and it’s turning out to be not so bad. Law has barrier around his heart that’s breaking by the day. But where there’s lightning a storm follows. Cocoa has a calm about her and Streets found that out. Law got the shock of his life and I can’t wait to see what unfolds in pt.2
This book was too good I can't believe wick had the nerve to pop up at the wedding like he was about to be in charge of things I think not and ma is back wow it's about to get crazy I knew she was going to fall for law he was trying to act all hard knowing he was going to fall to but come on Marcia like how low was that of you and you called yourself a friend she should've told them what was going on from the beginning she's sad
This book is sooo good. Law set the stage when forced to marry someone as aire to the cartel. Coco and Honey the twins of the governor are inseparable. However tragedy strikes every where but all in the midst of Law and his brother Street falling for the twins. This book is so good I’m looking forward to book 1 to find out what is going to happen with best friend Marsha
I loved this book all the way down to how the twins got with the two brothers. I am sorry that honey lost her best friend to being deceitful. I wish dash would not have gotten killed that way he could have been there to see how happy his sisters were. I can't wait to read part two. I loved the way mama Ada and the girls got alone. Who would have thought that law and streets mom would be alive.
Dragging it- I can’t stand when a love story involves too many characters like this one. The romance is pretty much watered down due to all of these ridiculous sub-plots. I also, hate the virgin trope! Coco and Streets deserved their own book but, I digress. It wasn’t bad but, I will not be investing in the sequel. I usually skip books published by Cole Hart because i there always done in multiple installments.
Awesome book.....I love the characters...Law ...Honey ...Streets ....Coco...just brilliantly written....I am so glad part 2 is ready to read.....I think if I had to wait it would drive me crazy......
Awesome read ....I love the characters...Law and Honey along with Streets and Coco...they are matched just right...Law is hardcore ...Honey can handle him tho...Streets is a little softer like Coco...love that part 2 is already ready to read.....
This series is gonna be lit. My twins caught love. But honey caught hell at first and came out good so far. But her best friend was a peace of s**t and was so jealous hearted. My boys don't play about their ladies. U did good on yet another book and I'm looking forward to reading more of them. Sitting here patting my feet while sipping on Pepsi and while eating popcorn while waiting on the next book to read
