The concepts and pieces in here are easy to understand even without a teacher. I only got a few tunes into this as a child, and I’m so proud of myself to have mastered them now as an adult. I’m a little sad fewer of the examples in this book are put to lyrics – I had so much fun singing along to my own playing growing up – but it’s nice to see the music get more mature as it gets harder.
