Wow, another really bad one by this author.
Spoilers galore... you have been warned!
It was ridiculous how far the female lead's and male lead's heads were stuck up their genitalia. I swear that was what they used for at least 90% of their thinking.
And then there was this (note this is their first time together):
“I want to fuck you, but I’m not taking advantage of you while you are wasted,”
Two minutes later:
“I really wish you weren’t stoned,” I grumble and sit up.
“Man, you have a nice cock,” she says, reaching for it.
“Maybe it’s not so bad your defenses are down. I grin, climbing up her body. Then I slide my cock between her plump breasts. “Press them hard around my cock, yes, like that. Good girl. Oh fuck, yes.”
And then he proceeded to titty fuck her, got her to suck his dick and then fucked her. And, it is noted in the next scene, he also fucked her ass. How was that not taking advantage of her while she was both drunk and stoned?
And this:
“Well then, you must be in love with her,” he decided.
“I’m not in love with her. I just want to fuck her. Daily. Twice. I want her in my bed so I can have brilliant sex whenever I want. That’s not love.”
“Yeah, I think it is,” Atlas said.
What the heck kinda messaging is that? Wanting to fuck someone six ways to sunday does not equal love. It equals lust. Grow up!
And, just like in the last book, the two lead were irresponsible when it came to practicing safe sex; there was no discussion so he finds out she is not on the pill after he doesn't use a condom. These are two educated twenty-four year old adults and the female lead knows he had been sleeping around all over the place so, at the least, a condom should have been mandatory.
And, just like the last book, the female lead ended up with a 'surprise pregnancy'. That's not romantic or sexy.
And when he found out, instead of talking to her, confessing his feelings and reassuring her she had his full support no matter what she decides, he fucked her. Again, not romantic or sexy.
And then this:
“And keep your money. My daughter was never going to pay for it. I was trying to teach her to stick with something but looks like she’s done that. Just in a different way.” Dad watches me. “You will be a mother until your last breath, Payton. That’s a forever commitment.”
How has the female lead learned to stick with something? She couldn't even prioritize her job over her sex life for two weeks, she hasn't even experienced an actual full time relationship with the male lead and she's only just found out she was pregnant? She could have the baby, decide she doesn't want to be tied down so young and run off to Tibet for all he knows.
This is third book I have tried by this author, the second one where the female lead was drunk the first time she and the male lead were intimate, the second one where the male lead leaves the female lead alone and heartbroken for days while he decides if she is worth a commitment and gets his shit together, and the third one where they are irresponsible about safe sex and contains a 'surprise pregnancy' that is presented as a wonderful happening.
None of that is romantic or hot or fun to read.
I do not recommend this book and I do not recommend this author.

Used up story with extra spice! The writing style is good, the story is fast paced and not boring, the characters are likable, I did not hate Knox even though he was being a jerk. I sympathized with Payton and wished her well. Overall nice story to kill time.

basically a girl who didn’t want to go to law school swaps her major (while explaining this in an extremely confusing way every time) her dad is mad, then she gets a job. her dad tells her she must stay at the job for 2 years (she acts like this is oh so hard) or she has to pay back the entirety of her education. (she acts like this is oh so hard) and boom guess what she fails the first time, her father then tells her to find a new job and then restart because apparently because being fired was a better circumstance. then at the said new job she starts lusting after who she’s working with. and boom guess what he’s like “oh i don’t date, i can’t do repeats” and all that jazz. and guess what even though him getting the ceo title and the possibility of her being in hundreds of thousands of dollars in student loans was not reason enough to stay away they cave (wow shocker). he continues to give me whiplash by saying “i want you, i need you, oh baby oh baby” then back to “well payton your a stupid girl and i could never date you” (i had to add the dramatics) LIKE WHATTT PLEASE YOU ARE GIVING ME WHIPLASH!!! then as they are finishing up on the construction the guy hoists her up onto the runway and touches her ass and he walks up in that bitch and is like “come with me rn” and once they go to his office guess what he’s all like “did you fuck him, ur mine😡😡😡” like wooowwwww because you have totally communicated that with the whole “i can’t date you, i don’t do repeats” etc. and shocked the girl who hates her walks in and is grinning ear to ear like the damn cheshire cat. her boss walks in and is like “yeah you trollop your fired” she then has to tell her dad who is like “well now you have gyatt to pay back all that money” and then she’s just so whiny. JUST OH MY GOD YOU KNEW THIS WAS EXACTLY WHAT WOULD HAPPEN. so just the fact that she was victimizing herself pissed me off. OHH and the best part just guess…. she gets pregnant…. then dude comes in sees the test and is like “oh i love you you are mine” blah blah blah blah like oh my god shut up i hate you. then they go to her parents and tell them, her dad freaks out (rightfully so because they had literally only known each other for maybe a little over a month at most) and her mom is just like “their in luvveeeee. just please don’t encourage them…

This is the first book in The Montgomery Billionaires series. They are standalone stories, but we are introduced to all of the Montgomery's in book one. This is Knox and Payton's story.
Knox Montgomery is the eldest son and heir to Ward Enterprises. He has been dreaming and working towards taking over as CEO when his father retires, several years from now. Problem is, his father is retiring sooner and does not think he is ready to take on the responsibility. His womanizing ways and young age have placed doubt in his father's mind and now he has to prove he can change, mature and be ready for the job. One problem, the beautiful new PR consultant is going to challenge his ability to keep it professional.
Payton Mills is a PR consultant and has worked hard to get where she is. She has an ivy league education and against her lawyer parents' wishes has taken a different career path. She has a hard time sticking to one job for any length of time, so her father has placed an ultimatum on her, keep this job for three years or you will be paying back half of your loans. She doesn't have that kind of money, so she needs to do everything in her power to keep this job. Her first assignment with this PR firm is to work closely with one of the sexiest men she has ever met. Now she has to do everything in her power to deny her feelings and keep it strictly professional.
I read this book in one day! These two characters try and resist each other every chance they can.
Their jobs are so important that they can't allow themselves one second to give in to their feelings.
For the first time Knox starts to have real feelings for a woman and he does not know what to do with it, so he acts like a jerk (hence my lower rating for this story). Payton holds her own and keeps him at bay as long as she can, but once the door opens, she is all in.
This is a story of discovering what is important in life. This is a good story with good characters, plenty of sexy time and a good ending. I will say I had a hard time really liking Knox. As sexy as he was made out to be, his actions took away from that a little for me. Payton deserved better, it was not her fault that he could not stop his womanizing, and his father called him out on it. Overall, I enjoyed the story as a whole. Knox and Payton are steamy, and their forbidden love turned forever is wonderful to read. Overall ⭐⭐⭐

When I read the note at the front of the book to readers asking them to give the main male character a chance, I cringed. I’ve read a few books by this author. Most of the main male characters leave a lot to be desired. So do the female main characters. Having a note at the start of the book foreshadows that the guy might not have any redeeming qualities is not a good sign. And he didn’t.
The two main characters aren’t responsible. They both have an instant attraction to each other. They’re trying to prove to others they can be adults and commit to something more than their selfish desires. The main make character cant keep from having sex with women. As he puts it he “f’s them and leaves them.” The start of the book shows you how horrible toward women he is.
The female main character is supposed to grow up and get a job. To commit to something for two years or pay her student loans back to her parents. She moans about it being hard too much. She wasn’t likeable.
They fail.
They spend a lot of time thinking about their sexual attraction to each other. It gets repetitive and annoying.
The first time they do something sexual is in a limo where he orders her to masturbate in front of him, but it’s okay cause they didn’t touch. The first time they have sex the female lead character is drunk and stoned. He takes full advantage of her. Later in another scene she’s telling him no and he pushes her to have sex in a public location because he has to have her. It doesn’t matter that his actions would have serious consequences for her. Then he waits two weeks while getting his life in order and sorted to go find her.
I’ve read a few books by this author and they are all too similar to each other. The characters to me feel and sound the same from one to the other.
Theres a lot of crude language, cussing and swearing. None of it has to be there.
The internal monologue gets repetitive and annoying.
The flash back in time when the characters are thinking back to events earlier aren’t clear and confusing.

To say I was ecstatic that this book came out early is an understatement. Instead of starting the book today, I’m finishing it! It was everything and yet I still found myself going back and forth with this being a 4 and a 5, only to wind up giving it a 5. I think the reason I kept going back and forth between those two ratings is because of stubbornness on behalf of Knox and Payton, plus the way Payton was acting around him. I loved her enthusiasm for falling in love and allowing herself to finally go for it with him, but the way she was with him felt almost too eager. Basing this on Knox’s personality, I think her immediately wanting to get serious with him probably set him off a bit and he wanted to back off because he was scared. I think with a man like Knox, he needed more time to realize how much Payton meant to him and they needed the distance but Payton was so far gone with her emotions for him that she became over sensitive and in her feelings. I think in this case I was worried for her because it just wound up pushing Knox away more in the beginning though he definitely wasn’t denying how he felt about her. This is where the 4 came in. Once Knox realized that he felt the same way about her, and realized what his motivation was about his career and where it stemmed from, he could finally feel worthy and good enough for his father and good for Payton. This just proved that underneath that cocky demeanor and confidence, he still felt less than and like he didn’t deserve nice things for himself in an emotional way, plus he was afraid of being vulnerable and putting his heart on the line. I loved both parts of Knox because it showed he wasn’t invincible and had his own insecurities that he didn’t show. The connection between him and Payton not only stemmed from their chemistry, but also from that need to be accepted and loved for who they were and not appearances.

I got this book on a Stuff Your Kindle Day website. Never heard of the author and I liked the cover and blurb. It wasn’t a bad read, but not good either.
The spice was spicing! Loved it a lot! I can’t say much more because it was pretty hot🥵
The plot? It was decent. It followed through to the end. It picked up too fast there at the end. Like we went from being pregnant to getting engaged in six weeks after they said that wasn’t going to be the plan. I also didn’t like where you got to a part of the story and it either went back in time to a few days before or it went to a whole other day and there wasn’t something there to break that part up. Like usually most authors will put a picture or something to break passages up in a chapter. Didn’t get that and that is a big pet peeve of mine😫
Also, Knox was only worried about sex most of the time. It even overshadowed his want for becoming CEO. It was a constant. That’s lust, not love. While I get he stopped sleeping with other women, but he only wanted to sleep with Payton. There was nothing from him saying he was in love with the way she carried herself, the way she giggled, the way she worked hard, etc. It was always something about her cleavage, the way she looked in clothes, how she looked fuckable, etc.
All in all, it was an okay read. I would not recommend it at all. But it doesn’t deserve a DNF.

Payton is a PR consultant, it wasn’t her first choice in career, her parents both being lawyers wanted her too as well. Payton however had other plans. Payton’s father only wants the best for his daughter and wants her to stay with a career, so he gives her an ultimation, she stays at a job for two years or she had to pay back the college loans. Which Payton agrees to, she didn’t factor in meeting Knox though.
Knox likes to play the field, which unfortunately includes clients, and his father has noticed. With Knox’s father retiring, he lets Knox know he has to apply for the CEO position like everyone else and he needs to stop with the sleeping around.
Knox wants the position and agrees to change, no more sleeping with anyone associated with the company in anyway, then he sees Payton. They thought they were careful, they thought no one knew. Until they get caught.
Payton loses her job and now will have to pay back every college fee. Knox knows his chances of being the CEO are even less now, but he also knows he’s ruined things with Payton.
The problem is Knox realises he doesn’t care about anything but Payton, but now with what went on she won’t talk to him and now he’ll do anything to win her back.
Knox likes to play the field, which unfortunately includes clients, and his father has noticed. With Knox’s father retiring, he lets Knox know he has to apply for the CEO position like everyone else and he needs to stop with the sleeping around.

I have always love Ms Banks books! They make you feel hot,sexy and you just want to be in their shoes at least the Montgomery stories.Knox was a bad boy true and true and always took what he wanted regardless who it was until Paxton and he did try to buckle down and not get too close to her but he was losing his cool.Paxton just wanted to hold down a job and make her father proud but she was falling for Knox and it was getting harder and harder but but all things change.But of course when things fall apart and they get caught and she gets hurt by him and her life changes again and now she has to tell her parents what happen.Paxton doesn't want anything to do with Knox and after awhile he realizes all he wants her in his life and he isn't taking no for a answer and they get work out their doubts but Paxton is hiding a secret but it doesn't take him long to find out and it turns out a happy secret!

Finished Dirty Seduction within 24 hrs because I basically didn’t want to put it down! This is the first book in a new series by Juliette Banks about the Montgomerys who we met in the ending of the Dufort series. I enjoyed this book so much and if it’s any indication of things to come then I’m downright excited to read the rest! 🤗 Knox and Payton have instant chemistry from the start and as they are young, they have less control over reigning in their desire for each other. Knox is hot and pure alpha male! Payton is bubbly, lovable and a little spoilt. Together, they are fire 🔥 Although they take a while to learn what is truly important to them, they eventually come around to understanding what they really want, which was each other, forever! 🥰

Dirty Seduction by Juliette Banks was another one that had been in my TBR for a bit. I have read plenty of books by Juliette before and knew this would be good.
Knox and Payton were fabulous and did not disappoint. He is at a crossroads in his life and she needs her new job. Did I mention that fraternization between clients is an immediate firing for her and rocks his life plans…or does it?! The tension between these two is palpable to the reader and all the delightful side characters introduced.
One thing I love is that Knox deeply loves his family and that comes across the page from the beginning.
I’m so glad I chose to pick this one off the shelf and fall into the Montgomery world for a bit. I highly recommend picking up any of Juliette’s books.

Dirty Seduction was fun to read and a great introduction to the Montgomery household. The siblings' banters were witty and the bond between Wade and his sons is one I would like to see more in the upcoming books. The chemistry between Knox and Payton was so beguiling, insatiable and hot that I often found myself smitten by this gorgeous couple.

Knox and Payton are seriously out of the frying pain into the fire hot. With so much at stake in their forbidden tryst, you’ll be scratching your head going why take the chance but the heat and chemistry between these 2 cannot be denied. Hearts and flowers is not what they share but the intensity of it all is so worth the read. There are a couple of heart wrenching moments that may have you tearing up but their happy ending cancels out the heartbreak. Juliette should design roller coaster because her books truly always take you for a ride.

Wow! What a way to start a series!!
Knox and Peyton are two very HAWT characters and they go together beautifully!! My goodness!! I absolutely adore them together and I ESPECIALLY appreciate that the man did not take oodles of time to make sure that he really LOVED Peyton. A week is about THE MOST time it should have to be mulled over. I loved everything about this story!!! It was brilliantly written, exceptionally romantic, and had good feels all throughout. I would give it a billion stars - - if I could. LOVE, LOVE, LOVED this awesome story!

Worth the wait!
Oh my! Razzle dazzle glamour, lots of sizzle and complex drama situations with well developed characters and an amazing love story with another to die for thick headed male who falls hard and almost realized it too late. It kept me up reading late into the night because I couldn’t put it down! I was actually talking to Knox and Payton at times and had to know if things would work out…

Wow another amazing story by Juliette!!
I totally loved watching this relationship unfold . And watching them be able to overcome the hurdles in their way!
While it's in the same world as the Duforts I really felt like this was new, fresh. Different than the Duforts but similar enough to feel "like home".
I cannot wait to see the next chapter in this family's life!!

I knew Know wouldn’t disappoint
I devour pretty much all of Juliette’s books and this one isn’t different. I read it in 3 hours. Knox is the epitome of the playboy but he falls in love with pretty much a stunning girl next door. I laughed out loud a few times. It’s an amazing palette cleanser.
Love every minute and highly recommend it!

Phewww I could barely put the book down. It was like an incinerator burning up the pages with the chemistry between Knox and Payton. The untouchable forbidden fruit comes to mind. Knox had to have a mindset change about priorities before they could have happiness. I had a huge lol moment with the stoned episode.

Only reasons I picked up this book were because it was free, I knew there would be smut, the guy- Knox- is as billionaire, and the women’s name is Payton! Yes, of course, I imagined I was her. The story is actually really good. I did think Knox was a bad guy and arrogant a little too much… I could see myself purchasing the other books in this series.

This was a great story! I love when you know someone and they walk into a room and immediately know that they have to have that person and only that person! This becomes a welcome and unwelcome feeling but in the end it truly works out and you both get each other!!
