“You were the best thing that ever happened to me too. Our marriage was strong most of the time. I didn’t know I could love anyone as much as I loved you. Didn’t even think I was capable of that kind of love and happiness.”
- Maggie

“I have you. There’s nothing more I want or need.”

“Now that ring cost a fortune. So I expect something equally valuable right now in return as my Christmas gift. Go get it. I want it. If it’s not at least twelve pairs of new socks, you will be roundly punished until next Christmas.”

Short, sweet wonderful read...love Daniel and Anya (and Maggie too). This was a quirky, yet endearing take on Dickens' A Christmas Carol...in true Tiffany Reisz fashion!!

A must read after you've read Daniel Part Two. This is the most touching shirt story that I've ever read! Get the Kleenex ready before starting it. If you have read and enjoyed any of the Sinners Series, these free stories from Tiffany Reisz are a true gift to her fans! Don't over look these short stories!

A Christmas Maggie is the best title for this short story - as it is a look towards past Christmas and future Christmas, sharing the love with one who is gone, and getting the courage to move forward anyway.

I love the christmas gift that Daniel recieves!!!

UPDATE for the Sinners Readalong 2017

Daniel and Anya are spending their first christmas together. This is a kinky version of the Scrooge’s Christmas Carol that was beautiful, sexy and heartwarming.

“Someone upstairs decided you needed something for Christmas. Something that wouldn’t fit into a box. Not even one this size.” She held up the tiny box of Tiffany blue.

This novella always makes me cry. Daniel is one of my favorite secondary characters of the series and it’s always great to revisit him. ❤

Another free read on the author's website which follows up on Daniel, Part 2.

This continues the story of Daniel and Anya, and is told in the spirit of A Christmas Carol. What is wonderful about this story is we get to meet Maggie, and see the interaction between her and Daniel.

An even shorter read than Daniel Part 2, but well worth your time if you are a fan of Tiffany Reisz. I hope we hear more about Daniel and Anya in the future.

It was very sweet and really sad at times. Somewhat of a necessary evil for Daniel to finally move on. I'm happy how everything turned out.

I can barely write this review for the tears in my eyes. what a LOVELY piece of literature. Cements my love for all things Tiffany Reisz.

I've read all of her Christmas stories - gifts to her readers - or so I THOUGHT I had, but I found this one on a list in an email / newsletter from her tonight and am so glad I did.

Its positively beautiful.

I love Daniel, and will gladly take more shorts featuring him. This Tiffany Reisz version of "A Christmas Carol" nicely weaves together his love for all three of the major women in his story--his late wife, Maggie; Eleanor briefly; and now Anya--and makes it clear that him with Anya is the best ending for him.

Sorry I have saved these Christmas stories for last as they are usually sappy and on top of that Mrs. Reisz decided to bring back a dead person....Ugh, I just couldn’t finish it.

Christmas 2011

This is probably the most emotional short story I have ever read by Tiffany! I don't know if it's my hormones or not, but I just kept tearing up near the ending. It was sad tears and happy tears. I honestly could not control myself.

This short story is sort of a continuation from Seven Day Loan. It is the story of Daniel and Anya. They are living together and spending Christmas together as well. Daniel ends up hurting Anya's feelings Christmas Eve and while he tries to sleep it off, he gets a visit from his dead wife. It is a play on A Christmas Carol with the ghosts and seeing the past and future sort of thing. So, Maggie, his deceased wife shows him how life would have been if she didn't die, and how his life could be if he marries Anya.

I was so glad Tiffany wrote this story. I don't know why. There wasn't that much kink in it and I was totally okay with that. I loved it. It can be read for free on Tiffany's website!

This one was not quite what I expected. It was an adaptation on a classic in a way that is so absolutely Tiffany Reisz. It is very short and truly best enjoyed as the second part of Daniel Part Two. It is more of an epilogue to that short story than a standalone read. Maggie's character up till now has been spoken of by Daniel, but never given more dimension. This changes that and you are given more insight into her as a fully rounded person.

Dammit. What is with all these books making me cry? This story is a variation on the classic A Christmas Carol, with Daniel playing the part of Scrooge and his deceased wife Maggie playing the angel that show him versions of the past, present and future. It's a bit too sweet, but lovely at the same time. Thank you, Ms. Reisz.

Daniel is visited by the spirit of Maggie, his dead wife, and she shows him visions of alternate Christmases just like the ghosts of the Dickens tale.
He understands that his second chance with Anya is the best gift of all.

For some reason I only got to read this novella now and Daniel is still such a nice guy. I was really happy when he and Anya found each other. They both deserved a happy life, but better than anything they are a match made in heaven as we can see in this story. Loved the Christmas themed sex too.
