Alright now Talena! I'm loving this urban lane that you have carved for yourself. It suits you.
Miss Kehlani had a tough upbringing but fought her way out the gutta to become a successful criminal attorney. Her sister Mesha, and nephew Prince, were all she had, but she loved her little family. After winning a huge case by getting THE Elijah Porter off, she was on top of the world. If only her man Rashad was on the same page. Fed up with his disappearing acts, she chucks him the deuces.
Mr. Porter has been enamored with Kehlani, since laying eyes on her. He told himself when he got out of this jam, she would be his. Game on! I loved how Elijah was always straight up with Kehlani about his feelings, catered to her, and tried to keep the other parts of him hidden from her.
Kehlani knew this man would be dangerous for her heart, and possibly her life. But she was drawn to him and couldn't stay away. Then ish hits the fan! She is devastated upon learning of her sister's betrayal and pushes everyone away.
A chance run-in allows the couple to reconnect, but then tragedy strikes! Elijah is on the rampage, and Kehlani is supporting her man the best way she knows how.
Now ma'am, I knew when Gotti entered on page, it was gone be some ish! What can I say? I walked into this book reading to have a relaxing evening only to be put in shambles. The plots kept twisting, and that ending was WHAT?!?!?! I officially have beef with Talena. She gonna have to come see me after this!

Elijah was a man..! Whew, the way he went after Kehlani and applied pressure was everything. The level of betrayal and audacity had me ready to fight. I felt Elijah and Kehlani’s bond was sweet but it was definitely tested throughout, and the bomb at the end.. 😮running to book two!

Keh and Jah, though two totally different people on two different paths wonder if they should be together! He's in the streets and she’s an attorney, who represented him!
This book was good from start to finish. That ending though? That cliffhanger? I’m so glad I waited for the second book to be out before reading.
The plot twist? Everybody involved will not see heaven.

"Flaws and All" is a solid book. It has the right amount of lies, deceit, romance, and plot twists. Also, with a shocking ending, I cannot wait to read part 2!

I really enjoy the fresh out trope. They be ready to give their life to the first woman they meet immediately. I love the connection they built and how he was willing to check in on her even though they weren’t in the best place. That cliffhanger took me out. I really hope she doesn’t let that get in way of having the perfect love.

Talena Tillman step on up here and get this earful because you know you ain't right for snatching my edges the way you did! This book was pure perfection; she always kills it with the storylines but this one here… wheew chile!!!
I’m sitting here thinking about all that I have experienced while reading this book and all I can say is that I absolutely love Keh and Jah; they have become one of my favorite couples. They were so complex, and the plot had so much depth that it made them even more beautiful as a couple. Jah is definitely that dude and Keh matched his energy. They both had trials to face..literally but they stood strong and for the most part, faced them together.
Y’all know I pride myself on not giving spoilers, so I'll just say brace because my good sis is in her literary bag and there is a rollercoaster ahead 😆. I can't say it enough how much I loved this book and most of the characters but… even the shady ones understood the assignment. I'm impatiently waiting for more from Sauvage Heights because I know with how this book ended everything is about to hit the fan!

Elijah made it known he wasn’t talking no for a answer, Kehlani had no choice but to come up off that number 😂. The two fall fast & hard for each other, so much so that Kehlani felt she had to share the hardship reality that comes with dating her. To her surprise Elijah is cool with it. With the secret Kehlani’s ex & sister have been keeping from her floating around & eventually getting caught I predicted the end of Kehlani & Elijah would be from Kehlani inability to trust again & Elijah’s lifestyle. After some time apart Kehlani is certain Elijah is the man for her, but after tragedy shakes up his world Kehlani gets a surprise visit from her brother Gotti, who doesn’t hide the details of what he just put Elijah through & tells Kehlani she has to make a decision. Another one thank you!! I love this author she gives you every emotion when all you are expecting is romance. I was skeptical at first just became kehlani was a lawyer she would be annoying but not at all. All of the characters are very likable of course not Rashad and Mecca. The spiceeeeeee😮💨😮💨😮💨😮💨 I really enjoy how we got straight to the point in this book & the way I could just visualize everything is so great!!! I have never been able to create a scene in my mind like I did with this one! I’m nervy to start part 2!!!!!!🫣🫣🫣

I loved Keh & Jah’s story. I loved her it didn’t take her long to cross the line but what she did later did make me mad just a little bit cause why did Jah have to suffer?!

Imma gone head and let you know it’s a cliffhanger 😒. Jah and Keh were truly meant to be but I’m not sure if they can withstand Keh brother giving her an ultimatum. I hope Keh chooses her man. Keh sister already portrayed her by sleeping with her ex and having a baby. She deserves happiness. I hope we get to see it in the next book. This was a good book and I couldn’t put it down.

Will Isaiah survive? I hope so . omg I hope granny is okay I know she is going crazy over her grandson . I can't wait to read book two so many questions. I definitely didn’t see that cliffhanger coming. Wow, Kehlani is in a tough situation. In the meantime, the chemistry between Elijah and Kehlani seems forced. I don’t know why I’m not feeling them as a couple. It could be that he’s not coming across as polish as she is. He has money but his vocabulary seems underneath her. It could just be me, but they don’t match to me.

Now I know Talena was a good author but what did I just read? She had me all invested in these characters and the storyline from the first word on page one. Keh and Elijah are on two different paths and it’s questionable on whether they should intersect in love! He’s a true street deal that I wouldn’t put my bar card on the line for. But with heartache and betrayal who’s knows? The cliff hanger just added another hurdle! I enjoyed the playlist too💜

Now I’m all in my feelings about the ending. If Gotti don’t get the hell on. There will be no Jah and Keh slander, I really love him together and here come the devil being very busy. Mesha is a dirty heffa and so is Rashon, they need no more mentions 😂😂. Hoping for a pt. 2 soon.
