New Age and Roman Mythology clash in the hot, sweaty Cupid and Psyche retelling. This short and sweet Novella is jam-packed with dirty adventures and funny mishaps. Chances are high; if this arrow hits you, you'll fall in love with Cupid as hard and fast as Psyche did!
First, let me say Kris did a great job with explaining this novella, the Roman gods, and who they are. There’s a glossary of words used, along with the gods, and the meaning behind the prophecy.
Secondly, Cupid is not a cute baby cherub. He is a naughty only uses a hole once god that I kept picturing as Thor. But, he has to save a mortal that’s been bewitched because of a monster that’s supposed to steal her away.
Cupid ends up saving the beautiful Psyche, and decides he’s going to keep her, and use her, and breaking all of his rules. Did I mention there’s spitting? And he’s unable to be satiated.
Psyche ends up missing and Cupid is searching everywhere for her. Does he find her? Does she feel the same? Did she escape? Did she end up in the clutches of the monster?
