Lilian Monroe lives in a luxurious jungle treehouse surrounded by lush greenery, with an army of scantily-clad men with rippling abdominal muscles ready to attend to her every need.

No, wait. That's not true.

Lilian Monroe spends her days dangling her feet into her pool, while a scantily-clad pool boy with rippling abdominal muscles feeds her chocolate-covered strawberries and massages her back.

Okay, okay. You got me. That's not true, either. Let's try again.

Lilian Monroe lives at home with her two children, three dogs, and twelve chickens. Her husband likes to work shirtless in the back yard. His sweaty, gleaming abdominal muscles ripple with every movement and he—

I'm sorry. I have to stop. Fine, I'll admit it. That one isn't true either.

How about this: Lilian Monroe loves thinking about men with rippling abdominal muscles serving her hand and foot, and she wants you to think about them too! She is an avid reader, writer, and lover of all things romance.

She loves everything from bad boys to billionaires. Her books are packed with sizzling-hot heat, action, suspense, and everything from second chances to single dads. She hates cheating and loves a good happily ever after (and rippling abs).

Now and again, I try and mix my reading and clear some books that have been sitting on my devices for at least a few years, one of them was Doctor "O" by Lilian Monroe. After chatting with her, since the time I grabbed it - the book has been re-edited and re-released with this new cover. This was one of those reads where you don't have to think much about, it's an easy read. The main female in this book Valerie aka Val Brooks finds it hard to achieve the level of completing an orgasm. She has never quite been able to have one. Deciding nothing is working and things must be wrong with her, she heads to a new Doctor. This Doctor is a Hottie and some sparks fly between Val and Doctor Clay O'Neil. As the pair get to know each other, Val realizes that Clay is her other half as he is the only one who can help her reach the level of amazingness and orgasms, that not even a vibrator could reach. Things go great until Val learns that Clay was the guy who ghosted her best friend Emma. Can Clay prove to Val that Emma was just a random one-night stand and that he has genuine feelings of love and wants more with her? Will Val have to choose between her best friend Emma and Clay- the one she loves? Find out in this sexy steamy romance read "Doctor O" by Lilian Monroe.

I mean...this book opens with the hero pounding his cock into another woman on his kitchen counter. Spoiler! This woman is the heroine's best friend who becomes obsessed with hot kitchen cock and gets all pouty when the one-night stand doesn't call her.

Enter the weak-willed heroine who has never taken a trip to O-Town--not even by herself. She goes to the doctor who--shocker--is super hot. She leaves and they don't see each other for another week. Then BOOM they have timid, boring, lackluster sex. Again and again. Then, she runs when she finds out he's pounded her bestie. He comes crawling back. Heroine folds like an O-junkie, but then she runs again that same f**king day when the hero's ex speaks lies. Heroine doesn't give the hero a chance to explain, she shuts him out, he moves away but he can't live without the heroine and her multiple Os.

Gawt, the book was as annoying as hell. Not only was this book poorly written (shallow and tepid) it wasn't edited. There are errors all over the f**king place. It needs content edits for sentence structure and repetitive word usage, and grammar edits for the lack of commas and proper quotation marks.

Ugh. No thanks.

⚠️⚠️⚠️Major Spoiler Alert⚠️⚠️⚠️
I don’t review a lot of the books I read.. but this one? I want to say something about this.
So about the story, in the synopsis it’s pretty clear that the H is player and the h has a trouble with her orgasm. I was excited to see their story really! But when I read for like 4 or 5 chapter I’m getting something that triggers me.. I can pretty much predict what happened between H and h’s best friend (while in this story h’s best friend actually a good friend of h)
I was sooo panicked and try to read all the reviews that shows me that I was wrong, I say to myself that maybe I should just read it but I can’t.
So, I skip to the chapter that reveal the truth and I was right! H did slept with h’s best friend and even though it was before H met h but I personally don’t fine with it. I know it was not Emma’s fault and she also like victim here but that just makes me mad cause it makes h look bad here for like dating the guy that her best friend like and broke her best friend heart. I guess that I don’t like a relationship between h’s best friend and H (relationship couple to be exact) in books I read.
It was one star for me but decided to give it 2 stars because of how H (Clay) is changing from player to madly in love with h (Valerie) and I’m not gonna lie that I loveee the groveling part.
I’m starting to like this Author and I will try to see any good books from her. Maybe this one is just my bad luck. My first book of Lilian is Knocked up by the CEO and it was so good until it makes me not think twice to read this one. Hope the next book will be good. Wish me luck! And sorry for my english 😜

Valerie and Clay start off trying to avoid the mounting attraction they have for each other- but circumstances throw them together outside the doctor-patient setting and fighting the mounting attraction between them is becoming too much to bare. Dr. Clay O'Neil has a reputation for being a playboy who has no interest in keeping a woman around for more than a night or a couple of hours; she has trust issues and insecurities in dire need of repair mixing these two things together along with impending secrets how do they think this will work?
This was an interesting read, the blurb was what drew me to this book and was excited to dig into this fantasy type themed read.
I think this book started off well, with wittiness, and a strong presence, giving way to what I thought was a good indication of what the characters would be like, I felt like everything shifted into a different tone. Honestly, it confused me; I did not stop reading though. I wanted to see how the relationship between the two of them would play out.
Overall, I liked this storyline, thought it was witty- had a hot sensual feels with some intensity that was awesome. Fast paced with some good detail I was able to read this book all in one sitting - with an epilogue that wrapped up things nicely.
This is a first time read for me by this author; I am interested to read more from Lilian Monroe in the future
I read an exclusive advanced readers copy of this book

Almost dnfd at best friend reveal, pushed through the almost dnf'd again a few pages later at ex encounter. So what if Clay used to be a stripper? Also, two misunderstandings in one day?? First one was understandable... ish... but the stripper thing and Valerie not willing to listen to any explanation made me want to slap Valerie in the back of her head.

Skimmed through most parts of the book. Eye-rolled at the apartment viewing scene--the second time they met. She was so mad at him for being unprofessional during an apartment viewing. But she forgot she was mad because he was hot and she saw his cock. And then they kiss and then they have sex and then, *spoiler alert* she gets her first O in all of her 29 years on earth. Because magic fingers.

This is a steamy, entertaining and enjoyable story. Clay is a player, he never spends more than one night with a woman, never wants to. But when Valerie walks into his office he's immediately strongly attracted to her, but he can't and won't go there. He is soon obsessing over her, and once he has her he can't let her go. Val is a sweet and likable woman. She becomes intensely attracted to Clay when they first meet, but his past keeps coming back to haunt him. This story is charming and and the characters are fascinating.

Ick factor

I'd like to erase this in one from my brain. There's way too much of an "ick" factor that, first, he was a total player-- his thoughts, prior to meeting her, were all about the great sex he'd had the night before, how being tired was worth it, and how great it was to have so many women to choose from, he never had to have a repeat. But suddenly, he meets still another beautiful woman--who intrigues him because of her "problem", and he's a changed man. Only come to find out, he'd not only slept with her friend, he'd told her the same things---which of course he didn't mean, but he really truly meant them when he said them to her. Way too much ick.

Sweet!

I received an exclusive Arc to review this book. I thought it was really sweet! It was a pretty typical love story. Guy is a hot as hell player and sleeps around until he meets his true love and falls head over heals in love with her and can't think of anyone else. I really enjoyed the plot her being a big time real estate agent in NYC and him being a Dr. wouldn't actually mind a book about her best friend meeting her true love. Maybe it could be his best friend. Now I need to go check if that is actually already a book. :)

Doctor 'O' is a quick humorous read. I loved the story and how Valerie decided to confide in the Doctor about a problem she has. Valerie has never had an orgasm. Doctor 'O'/Clay has always been a playboy never spending more than one night with a woman. Will Valerie be the one woman that converts the sexy hot Doctor into a one woman man? I enjoyed reading this humorous story with the perfect amount of heat. This was my first book by this author and I'm excited to read more books by Lilian Monroe. I voluntarily reviewed an Exclusive ARC of this book.

tbh, the premise is good. it's very interesting, actually, about a doctor and a female who can't orgasm. but then, it became so complicated .

i find the plot so so, the sex scene is alright. it's quite hot, but i was skimming this book as i'm not hooked by the story. it's the typical love at first sight which I've grown weary of. however, if you enjoy love at first sight theme, you will like this. the ML is quite sweet before the sleeping around part.

it's a good short reading. gonna continue to the second book.

Valerie is a woman who has never been able to have an orgasm, no matter how hard she's tried. Clay is a player with no interest in being anything else other than working his way into a cardiac position. He is intrigued by her when she comes to him as a new patient and they are very attracted to each other. And boy does he show her she doesn't have a problem! After she's no longer his patient, of course. This is a pretty good a very hot story.

Doctor O. to the rescue!
Who knew the correct prescription for Val's problem was the doctor himself.
Val thinks there must be something physically wrong with her because she's never been able to orgasm. Thankfully, the good doctor is willing to help her find a cure. From there on out it's a sex fest that is easily addicting for both of them.

A sexy romp that ends up stealing their hearts (& mine).

Valerie has an issue. She can’t orgasm... at all. Deciding to pull up her big girl panties, she decides to go to the doctor it turns out her Doctor Clay, is hot as can be!

He feels an attraction so decides to pass her to another doctor but doesn’t plan on seeing her again. Things don’t go according to plan though which is lucky as he can’t get her out of his head. Being as closed off as he is though is bound to lead to some problems

This book just wasn't great. I should have known, the cover is extreme, & the plot was super weak - next to no plot, but then even the smut wasn't good. For me a lack of plot can be made up by incredible smutty scenes, but this didn't hit either mark for me. Also, she can’t climax and all of a sudden she does when he simply touches her - I wanted him to actually work for it, especially as she can't do it herself. I didn't even like their characters, so all round for me this was a pass.

Valerie has never had an orgasm, not even self service. Worried there could be something medically wrong she goes to see a doctor, enter Doctor O, sex god. No patient doctor rules were breached as he did transfer her to another doctor and steamy scenes ensue along with budding feelings. The last half of the book was quite angsty, but they did eventually get their HEA. A nice easy read, probably not one i would pick up for a re read but i did still enjoy it

Epic

Romance on the surface.
Had many moments of surprises and feel good romance situations.
I just felt like I barely cared about them making a match. Really think I was rooting for her friend to match the DOctor, or maybe a trio love match.
Gave it four because detached, reading from a far it was good. Know many will love it. Sexual moments were great.

Nope. This book is annoying. It had a lot of potential and falls flat…especially when it starts with the H with another woman who you figure out pretty quick who it is. A lot of internal dialogue and I just didn’t find the romance believable.

Cute and entertaining love story of a doctor and realtor in NYC. I was a bit annoyed by the third act break up, just seemed a little childish given the two professions and age of the characters.

If you like a more dramatic romance then this is for you. For me, it stressed me out and I had to put the book down and walk away several times.
