In the unseen realm of good and evil, a newly built fortress run by a diabolical demon overlord has arisen over an otherwise quiet suburban mall. When a mysterious underling who calls himself ‘the Selector’ appears there in the form of a 1970’s serial killer, his swaggering charm and wisecracking ways are a breath of fresh (if slightly sulphureous) air. He soon learns that a deadly plot is brewing in which human lives hang in the balance, and the Selector may have a role to play that no one has anticipated. This is a short story, NOT a novel.
