That’s all Case Theren wanted, but when he begins to see odd creatures, invisible to everyone else, his whole world turns on his head. Next comes a mischevious spirit fox that takes an interest in him, invading his life and making his already strained sanity that much more fragile. And then, sinister spirits starts popping up and trying it eat him, body and soul. Pleading insanity seems like the right move but soon Case realises its more than just seeing spirits, he had a well of energy, like magic, that he can use to fight back. But the rot in his new home town runs deep and what little power and ability he may have might not be enough to survive.
