She is an unabashed coffeeshopaholic. Good coffee, ambience and music in the perfect combination is all that is required to turn a mundane coffee shop into her 'office'. The appropriate coffee shop is chosen depending on the mood, the weather, the type and amount of work that needs to be done, and of course the craving of the day. All of her books have been written in numerous coffee shops all over the world.
A female autistic lead character, Genevieve Leonard, is brilliant. As in: her IQ is so high that she is considered a genius. Her character is thought out and gives an interesting view into an autistic brain and how she handles her everyday life. On top of that, she fights crime, meets very interesting people, and saves the world.
I liked these books so much that I bought and read the intire series (up till number 11 so far) in only 2,5 months!
Ingenioso, inesperado, el que lee se mete en la mente de esa discapacitada tan genial y valorable. Impactante y muy entretenidas tramas. Valiosos libros
So great to have a unique protagonist! In a genre that often tries to invent different villains it was exciting to read about a strong, atypical female hero.
