The Writer, who became an Engineer, who became an Investment Banker, who became a Fertility Spokesperson, who became…a Writer. That has been the journey of A. T. Nwokedi, aka The Fertile Chick. A self confessed hopeless romantic, when she is not creating new characters, she devotes her time to creating memories with her husband and their three children.
Adesuwa had me blushing and smiling to myself . I enjoy Naija-based rom-coms. Appreciated the craftsmanship, writing and hilarity within the stories as well.
This is the first book by this author that I'm reading and I'm impressed enough to want to read more of her books. This collection of short stories explores different scenarios of love and encourages giving it a chance (or maybe many chances 😅). It is sure going to entertain you.
ooooo la la🤭 I kept blushing throughout while reading this book, if u love love then read this book, I loved how Adesuwa intertwined the hustling and bustling of Lagos into the story it made it feel real as if it was happening nextdoor and her diction us impeccable wooooo boyyyyy I loved the story that I wished it never end. After much thinking I have decided my favorite is sweet seduction then the matchmakers match.
I loved this collection. Each story had a different flavour. Sweet Seduction made me cry again even after three years. But I think Unfinished Melodies has to be my favourite!
I totally enjoyed this book. It was fast paced, well written and the romance hit just right🤭 My favorite story is Madam Kiki🫠 the matchmaker getting her own man😍😂 it was so beautiful to read.
