After being convicted of a murder she didn't commit, Alita Asmora is exiled and left to die on the hostile world of Xanadis, a place filled with carnivorous plants, ruthless criminals, hostile natives, and bloodthirsty man-eating monsters. She has little hope of surviving in this new and deadly world, but in the midst of fighting for her life she's suddenly saved by an alien native who wants nothing to do with her... or so he thought.
It’s such a good survival romance that deserves to be published outside of galanta!! PLEASE!! I literally cannot wait 30 fucking hours just to read one chapter, and I don’t want to buy a subscription for the app since this is like that only good book on there the rest are Wattpad books. I want to buy the book
4.6 ⭐️’s. I really enjoyed this sci-fi romance. I’m not a romance enthusiast so the fact that I was really in to this one is a pretty big deal. Can’t wait to start book 2.
I genuinely went into this booking thinking it would be very mediocre, and sure the writing isn’t too great. But I’m always willing to look past that if I like the story. and I really did like the story, although it did seem to be a rather abrupt ending. I liked the potential this book had though. I just feel like there was a lot of missing pieces, but whatever, sometimes you like a book that everyone else would think is terrible, and this is just one of those books for me.
Picked this up on a whim while browsing Galatea. Really enjoyed it for what it was--an Avatar style sci-fi romance with medium spice. Quick read. Pleasantly surprised by the chemistry between the leads, and I especially enjoyed the first half of the book as they learned about each other's species and quirks.
Such a good futuristic yet primitive survival love story with a heart of gold alien. I listened to this book on Galatea and was really pleased with the quality of the writing, the audio production, and the characters (including the Draven!) And we don’t know until the last possible moment if they get their HEA.
I believe this one may only be available on Galatea, which is why I’m giving it a 4 ⭐️ It was a lot better than I expected it to be. There were things I didn’t care for, but I enjoyed the characters and world building a lot. Glad I read it.
I love the story!! Just takes forever to get the chapters unlocked. Author, before you officially publish, please edit more for the word sulk. It is so overused and doesn’t always fit with what’s going on, like when it’s a brief feeling of being sad, unappreciated, uncertain, etc.
I very much enjoyed the book and the way the author told each characters story along with it. I’m huge on the details aspect and loved all the juicy bits explained as well. Would highly recommend.
The book was really good except for the fact that it's on Galatea only. Usually, these sorts of reading apps only have books poorly written with a lot of grammar errors, but that's not the case with Galtea. I don't like that the app only has an annual subscription, I'd be much more likely to subscribe if they had a monthly subscription, instead I'm buying points in order to have full access to the book so I don't have to wait for each chapter. It starts out with waiting 6 hrs, but the wait lengthens the more chapters you read until it's over 30 hrs long near the final chapters. The book itself was pretty good, and after starting a few other books on Galatea, the Last to Fall triology is really the only ones I actually want to read. The other stories just aren't as interesting, and I did try a variety of others, not just sci-fi stories, to see if an annual subscription would be worth it, but they just aren't as good. So I give it 3 stars due to its lack of availability, which means I most likely won't be reading a 2nd time. If it was something I could read again and again, then I'd give it 4 stars with 5 stars being very rare for me to give out only to my absolute, all-time favorite books.
Stumbled upon this book from an add while playing a game on my phone. The Sci Fi element pulled me in.
Unfortunately, this book is only available on Galatea. Quite unfortunate. I am not done reading the book yet because Galatea likes to make this fast reader wait 22 hours (so far) just to read another chapter.
I have ZERO desire to purchase a subscription to Galatea as the app only has poorly written books on subjects I have ZERO interest in. The Last to Fall book and what appears to be two other books in the Last to Fall line are the only books that pique my interest.
I have been an editor for a different author before and so far, Last to Fall is is quite good. Though waiting over a day just to read one chapter is, at best, VERY annoying. I sincerely hope B. Shock gets the Last to Fall line published so avid readers like myself and others on here can buy them and read them whenever we want.
B. Shock, you can self publish them on Amazon. That is what the author I did editing for did.
Last To Fall is the first book in the series. This is a great Sci fi romance. The heroine Alita is a wrongly convicted female who gets sent to a penal planet. Alita is completely unprepared for the issues she comes upon. Than you have the hero is a native of the planet, and is a cross between a human, demon, and the alien from aliens. He has a little bit over everything that is put together right.
Last to Fall is the first ever book I read on Galatea that was completely well written, has a clear storyline direction, character progression, and so originally imaginative compared to the many other crappy books I read before. It took me a long time to find but it’s refreshing to find this gem on Galatea. Thank you so much.
I really liked this book - think it need to be properly published It paced so well but waiting 6 HOURS for the next chapter each time?! Icl I did spend some money to get the next chapters quicker 😔😔.
I am starting to be a big fan of Fantasy Romance. Alita and Azriel...the least likely couple but I'm digging it. Hopefully, there will be a Book 2 since I can't get enough. This is one of those books that you keep reading only because you want to know what happens next. I love getting pulled into books like this.
