The gritty tales of New York’s five families returns for its fifth installment.

Heavy is the head that wears the crown, and Caesar King feels weighted to the ground. The Five Families are in complete disarray, and Caesar realizes too late that stepping down was the wrong thing to do. It’s up to him to make the puzzle whole again. But when another war comes to their doorsteps and a past mistake comes back for blood, death rips through the boroughs like a tornado. In the end, there might not be any pieces left to put back together.

Ok so this one wasn’t as exciting as the others but it was a quick & easy read. The build up wasn’t there for me but since I started with the other four books, I felt compelled to complete it.

A swan song to the series, or is it. This latest installment of the five families of new York has really showed me a lot. This book was full of surprises and I was flabbergasted. This series has been all that and such a joy to read. I was able to flew right through it and could not put it down until I was completely finished. And by the time I got to said ending, I was completely shocked and floored. I was not expecting that.

This series leveled up with each installment, with numerous twist & turns, with the final installment being the greatest ride of all. Each installment was hard to put down and at the end, I couldn't wait for the next. Now I'm left anxiously awaiting a new installment or a television series!
