The time has come for Levi to end the threat of the Director once and for all.
With the Academy missing, a pregnant fiancé, and a wedding to plan, Levi doesn't have time to waste in sorting out his enemies. Now the Empire and everyone else had best get out of his way, because he's not stopping until he reaches his happy ending.
Join Levi and his lovers in the final book of the Otherworld Academy series. This story contains material of a steamy nature, a massive wedding, a few dragon mommies, and a lot of anime-style action.
Began gaming at the age of 8 and explored a lot of different ways to play table top. When I got older, I experimented with MMOs and found a few I really liked. My first job was mowing lawns as a young teen, and I worked to use the money to pay for fantasy series like DragonLance, Dark Sun, and Forgotten Realms. As soon as I discovered LitRPG I knew I wanted to incorporate it into my writing.
Aside from taking care of my sons as a single father, writing is what I love to do most. I hope you all enjoy my work.
One problem I’ve noticed with this kind of book is that when the group gets above a few members, you either have to spend most of the book reintroducing them, or turn them into sketches with a few catchphrases and not much else. As this was the last book in the series, much of the remainder was given to wrapping up everyone’s individual story, and between that and the sex there’s not much on for a story. A rare stumble as the author is usually pretty good at fitting a nice adventure story around the harem stuff, that’s why I read them.
Great series, amazing voice actors is you do the audio book thing. There was a heavy exposure to other dimensions but little world building compared to what we have experienced. It was a decent “wrap up” but felt more like a season finally rather than a series finally. I hope that analogy made sense. . .
Spoilers . . . . .
It was a good final book but when you think about the teachers, students, and staff it’s sad.
Also the massive loose ends with the empire. Sure the emperor is dead but they still summon heroes, he had a bunch of kids, and that was only 1 ship’s worth of troops.
And the fact that Levi just keeps talking about ascension like it’s gonna happen tomorrow just feels really cheap. Like he’s so looking forward to that event that it feels like the next centuries don’t matter. It just feels like it’s hinting for another series or another book. Meanwhile, not finishing this one properly.
Again, great series, but this is definitely the worst book of it.
But I read that it was the series end, do I figured I could put up with one more. This has such a simplistic story that it is borderline insulting. Take away the plethora of adult scenes and all that is left is a basic plotline. A wrap up that seems more forced than organic. Frost is capable of writing a really good story, it is a shame this series never got that treatment.
This has been an incredible journey from the beginning to the end!!! I was so thrilled that truly evil opponents got what they deserved and that the most important character wasn't lost!! I can't wait to see what this author comes up with next!!!
The world building and story were lacking for me however, unlike some other haremlit books that I like, I really enjoyed that the harem didn't get completely out of hand and each character was interesting. Levi was by far one of my least favorite MC but his sense of humor definitely helped. 3.5 stars
A very thought provoking story/series. The characters are unique, very likeable, and fun to spend time with. Hopefully (as the author hinted) we will get a chance to spend more time with the characters in the future - that would be awesome.
I really enjoyed reading this book and series. It was fun and entertaining. The story and characters were incredibly interesting and engaging. This book and series are definitely worth checking out.
It's over. Let's start by saying that I enjoyed the harem members in this series as they were fairly developed and usually interesting, with Sylvie being a standout for me. On the other hand, I LOL every time that I see an illustration of the MC and am reminded of the author's design choices. Levi continues to be a moody bitch this volume, and he has a tantrum every time one of the ladies makes a decision without his oversight. For the most part the conclusions were satisfying, so I don't feel it was anticlimactic, but the final battles and their resolutions did feel a bit rushed.
