Sarah es una periodista de investigación excepcional pero cuando uno de los peces gordos chantajea a su hermana no duda en usarse para protegerla y de paso poner a Williams tras las rejas, cuando su plan casi está llegando a su fin se ve traslada a una tierra invernal donde casi es aniquilada por un animal gigantesco y es rescatada por 2 seres monumentales que la desean reclamar. Pero todo se complica cuando el tercer hermano de vínculo no la quiere ni ver, Sarah creyó que estaría bien ser rechazada por un ser demasiado guapo para ser humano pero en su interior algo despertó y solo la confunde más.
Ella no desea ser una Omega solo quiere volver a la tierra y salvar a su hermana.
Pero las cosas se vuelven peor cuando entra en calor y los hermanos descubren que la traición asecha en su ciudad.

La chica es raptada se negara a ser una Omega (situación que sería la correcta sino sería raro) y tres hermanos de vínculo. El enemigo es el mismo los Ulgix, la diferencia es que por amor a sus omegas estos 2 primeros clanes se unen para evitar la destrucción de su planeta y el de ellas.

This one was way better than the first one. I loved that there was resistance to the mate bond and that Eclipse was the voice of reason.
I’m still not convinced that the omega genre is for me as I find it so cringe but I’m too invested now and I plan to finish the series

Cela, n'engage que mon avis personnel, mais j'ai trouvé cette histoire particulière mauvaise et cousue de fils blancs. Impossible de m'attacher aux personnages. Hormis le smut très présent, il n'y a pas grand change. Bref, je suis très déçue et je n'irai pas plus loin assouvir ma curiosité.

Stolen by the Barbarian Warlords (Book 2, Stolen Planets) - Charmaine Ross
I was given an ARC copy of this story to provide an honest review.
Charmaine Ross is an Australian author who writes a lot of contemporary, science fiction and paranormal romance stories. She really enjoys spinning imaginative tales of connection between two souls no matter what worlds they come from.
Sarah is a journalist that works hard to uncover crooked politicians and many other crooked and dirty people in powerful positions. In fact, Sarah is in the middle of trying to copy some files from her sister’s boss's laptop to get the dirt on what he’s really been up to; and it’s at this moment a solar flare appears and unbelievably transports her to a frozen alien world.
She’s cold and freezing and taken by these three weirdly handsome blue skinned aliens with horns.
She soon realises these aliens are warlords and are apparently her fated alphas and she is what they call an omega, their omega. The three blue-skinned warlords would do anything to keep her safe, happy and well satisfied. They are so intent on having Sarah and claiming her that it scares her – well that is except for her third Alpha who has rejected her and fighting the bond which hurts her much more than she expected.
But this is not all they must contend with – the Uglix supposed allies of her warlord alphas – are secretly killing them and breeding them out. The only one able to stop them is Sarah and her alphas – so now she must contend with saving an alien race she knows nothing about while coming to terms with who and what she really is. But help soon comes from an entirely unexpected place.
“Stolen by the Barbarian Warlords” is a short science fiction / fantasy story with a good dose of spice. What I liked about this one is that not all the alphas immediately fawned over her and became a slave so to say to the bond and the hormones – one tried to fight at least as much as Sarah did - I quite liked that aspect. If it wasn’t for that it was almost a carbon copy of the first one - not saying I didn’t enjoy - I did but I am hoping for more variety in the next instalment of the series.

bueno bueno, tenemos el 2do libro terminado después de cuatro mil años jajaja (en mi defensa, se me atravesaron más libros jaja sorry)
bueno, la trama es la misma, obviamente. Tenemos a Sarah, una periodista de investigación muy buena en su trabajo que trata de ayudar a su hermana a desenmascarar a su jefe por fraude financiero, pero es succionada por una llamarada solar a través de una pantalla y llega al planeta de nuestros aliens azules.
Luego tenemos a los señores de la guerra azules, tres, que si tienen un poco más de tecnología, ellos se encargan de filtrar el agua en su mundo y bueno, ya sabemos la trama principal.
me gusta que a pesar de ser todo lo mismo (porque lo es!) la autora se da ideas de como hacerlo interesante y diferente al 1ro.
me duele que las humanas no puedan seguir con sus vidas humanas, más con Sarah, lo cual me deja con la duda de qué le pasó a su hermana, porque la estaban amenazando de muerte a ella y su sobrino y de repente PUM ya no nos interesa, son cosas del pasado y ya. Eso es algo que no me gusta mucho, pero bueno, por el bien de la trama nos llenan de sexo nudosi y sexy y se nos olvida JAJAJAJJAA
pero bueno, he de decir que las historias de omegaverse me encantan, así con todo. mientras todo sea consensuado y sin manipulación, me encanta.

Charmaine Ross is a new author for me, and I am loving her writing style as well as the story line in these books.
In stolen by the barbarian warlords this is the second book in the barbarian series these books could be read as a standalone but recommend reading then in order.
You get to meet Adele who finds herself on a new planet and in the hands of her new fated mates Eclipse, Polaris, Arcturus who fall hard for their new mate who will fight them to change her mind that are meant to be together for the greater good of their planet. this book has a storyline that keeps you hooked, and I really hope these books keep on coming as I am not ready for this series to end!

Sarah is an investigative journalist and in the middle of gathering information that will help out her sister, she's swept up when the solar flare happens and dropped into a frozen, foreign planet where two hot, blue alien men find her. Of course she freaks out (especially when she's riding a dragon back to safety) but is also weirdly comforted by the 7-ft tall aliens.
Similarly to book 1, she is taken back and given a translator and explained that she's an omega. Of course she denies it even though she begins to feel different. Her third mate feels the pull but is extremely resistant due to the deaths of his family from years ago (explained in book 1).
I liked seeing the tie between the two books. Obviously the next one will do the same.

This is book two in the Stolen Planet series and while I did enjoy it, it was very similar to the first book. Because of that, I struggled to get into it to start with, but I continued and am glad I did. I am hoping for something a little different in the future books in the series though.
I was very happy to see that not all the alpha characters fell under the mate bond straight away as well. The resistance to it gave the story a little more depth and ensured that there was some difference to the first book.

este libro ha sido mejor que el primero, pero he de decir que después de unos días no me acuerdo de mucho 🙂↕️
recuerdo que la chica está intentando salvar a su hermana de un corrupto de mierda y acaba en la nieve, vaya. de repente llegan dos señores de la nieve y la llevan con ellos, se dan cuenta que es su omega y el final ya nos lo sabemos. eclipse, le he adorado. y he adorado como todos trataban de protegerla. el tira y afloja, el darse cuenta que los lagartos son malos y que les están matando con el mercurio pero que el mercurio hace que ellos (los lagartos) vivan más, no se, todo maricarmen! ha estado guay y para ser el segundo libro de “why chose?” ni tan mal :)

This Alien warlord OV was a great read. Eclipse was one of my favorites. He listened to her from the very start. Was he a bit of a jerk about it? Yes? but I understood his hesitance, and logic behind trying to get her a way back home. The other guys finally came around and saw what he was trying to say and I loved their eye opening moment. I really like that the human Omegas interconnect. The worlds crossing over is a great addition. I really like the plot of the series, and its characters and developments. I can't wait to see the next human omega with her alien warlords. I'd recommend.

By the end, I enjoyed the first book...But I loved this one! The dynamics of the story felt much more balanced. Spicy scenes weren't over the top descripted, the progression of events felt more natural and better thought out.
The Alphas also presented as more complex and dimensional than the Alphas in book one.
Overall, just a much more enjoyable read which has most definitely reignited my interest in the progressing story.

I love Charmaine Ross's books, and "Stolen by the Barbarian Warlords" did not disappoint! This super hot alien omega verse romance has tons of angst, intrigue, world-building, and personal growth. Sarah was such an intriguing character, and I loved how Eclipse developed! I love how couples in the series are connected while still being independent stories. I'm excited for book 3!

Diferente do primeiro livro, essa história trouxe mais nuances para o dilema dos "aliens bárbaros". Gostei do Eclipse e de como ele se sensibilizou com a situação da Sarah e fez os amigos questionarem o tratamento que deram a ela. Espero que isso se repita nos próximos livros. E espero também que a guerra contra os Ulgix tome proporções mais amplas. Achei essa parte bem repetitiva.
