She and her husband live ten minutes from the house she grew up in with the two youngest of their five kids. Rounding out the family are their two dogs and two cats. For nine years, she was a nurse in the ICU and then transitioned to home health nursing five years ago. She is an avid reader of romance and had an idea for a book one weekend. With the help of some seriously awesome and amazing friends, and the support of her family, the Mountain Grove series was born.

There is so much to this book, the storytelling, the characters, the twists, and the fact that Keaton was not a likable character the first time we met him. A great way to start a new series.
We first meet Keaton in the Quattro series, and it is not necessary to read it first; he is a character that is not my favorite, but in the end, he is growing on me. But now that we know his full story? Well I will let you form your own opinion.
The story is a a fast paced ride, of cases to solve, who fits in where, and a love story. Both Keaton and and Henley have ugly stories, but both have the determination not to let them define them. Plenty of suspense, twists, emotional workouts, and romance, have this page turner setting up a new series that will feature more team members.

C.B. Noy is a masterful storyteller. Great suspenseful romance with action and a twist no one saw coming. Can't wait to read more in the series.

New to me author who I’ll now be devouring all her books.
I love it when I find a new author that I love. Well written FBI novel. Intrigue, well explained back story and characters you can relate to. Plus side individuals you can’t wait to hear about them too.
And no I couldn’t guess/work out who was the bad guy. I usually find there’s too many clues in a book.

So let's all draw straws for FBI agent Keaton, right now. That man is fine and the perfect combo of possessive, broody, and alpha-male deliciousness. I loved how he saw Henley struggling and told that girl to hold his poodle. The dynamic between them was the perfect push and pull. Keaton was willing to go to any length to protect and support Henley from the moment they met and once she was his? Ugh. Chef's kiss. The diabetic rep here was phenomenal. This author really captures the harsh reality of diabetes management and the ups and downs of the illness. I do so hope there's more of this power couple in the rest of the series. Fingers crossed for everyone to get their story told because I'm ready to dive back into this world asap!

I have loved each and every book CB Noy has written and Haunted is no different. It’s a stunning story that pulls you in with a vice like grip, with you as an all too willing captive, as you’re taken on a whirlwind rollercoaster ride that steals your breath and your heart.
I can’t wait to read the rest of the series, this masterpiece has set the bar for an absolutely phenomenal series. The supporting characters really adds something special to an already wonderful story and I can wait to read all their stories.
The MMC, Keaton is a total alpha, protective and has a strong moral compass, all of which succeed in making you weak in the knees. I love his take charge attitude as well as the camaraderie he has with his team.
Despite the pain and suffering he’s experienced in his childhood he has grown into a wonderful man. A man who carries the weight of something that was out of his control, but I think many of us can empathise with this. We carry guilt when something goes wrong, wondering if perhaps things would be different had we done something differently.
Henley is a strong and determined woman. Despite the pain and suffering from her past she is determined to stand on her own two feet, to make do and not take handouts. You can plainly see she doesn’t want to be a burden and again I think this is something we can relate to.
I loved watching their instant bond deepen, their chemistry bright enough to light the night sky. It was truly beautiful and heartwarming to watch.
I loved the who fun it type storyline. I kept thinking one thing and then found myself to be wrong. It was fantastic to try and figure the storyline out though.
CB Noy has once again given us a masterpiece to lose ourselves in. The depth and maelstrom of emotions just knock you on your backside. Truly beautiful.
If you can’t already tell, I can’t recommend this book highly enough.

Haunted (On The Hunt Book 1)by C.B. Noy, this is a bizarre tale of Cavin Keaton Renshaw air apparent to a demanding father who owns a multi-million dollar security company. At 17, he discovers a secret about his father that devastates his world. Now older, with a new name and family ,Keaton Clarke is a special agent with the FBI. One night, he comes across a young lady pasted out on the sidewalk. Thinking it is a drug overdose, he calls for help. Hensley has captivated his mind, and he desperately wants to find her. Hensley's life is complicated. She has endured much. When these two finally reconnect, the story really takes off. I love this author and the way she tells a story. Insta love is not for some people. However, this author added in some suspense,intrigue, heartache, and betrayal. There was so much to this story and a twist at the end that I definitely didn't see coming. I couldn't get enough of this story and of Keaton and Hensley. Both have their share of childhood baggage that has directly affected their adult life. Oh, so good. Yes, I really enjoyed this book. 4.5 stars for me.

Action-packed Start to a New Series!
C. B. Noy delivers another incredible and well-written book that captivates and enthralls the reader from the prologue to the epilogue. Haunted was pure perfection. It was a fast-paced, action/suspense-packed, story that will have you engaged and not want to put it down. There were twists and turns which had you on a roller coaster ride of emotions. The main characters had amazing chemistry from the beginning. I loved the witty banter between the main and secondary characters, as well as their unbreakable bond they had. Family doesn’t always have to be related by blood and these characters proved that at every turn. Another winner by this wonderful author.

Having recently discovered C.B. Noy I could not wait to read Haunted, the first book in her latest On The Hunt series. From the first chapter I was riveted to the story that the author wove.
Set in Huntington, West Virginia this series follows members of an FBI team and the people they fall for. This is Keaton and Heney’s story which was a good balance of romance and suspense.
From the moment Keaton set eyes on Henley he was drawn to her, but she disappears and despite his best efforts he cannot find her, until fate puts her in his path.
Both have different reasons for the walls that surround their hearts. When danger rears its head Keaton and his team will do everything to protect Henley. The banter between Keaton and his team adds an additional layer to the story but it was the love of chosen family, that really took this story to another level for me.

So. Freaking. Good!!! We met Keaton briefly in the Quattro series and I loved getting to know of his story and why he is the seemingly cold, alpha FBI agent he is. When he meets Henley, she is going through her own trauma and issues, but something about her draws him in and brings out his softer side.
It takes a while to find each other again and for Keaton the earn Henley’s trust, but it was perfect for them. All the while, there is a serial killer who is taunting Keaton and bringing up old ghosts from his past.
There are so many twists and turns, my head was spinning. Each time I thought I knew who the killer was and what was going to happen, something else happened and I was left guessing all over again! I didn’t see the final reveal coming at all and I ate it up!
I read this in one sitting and I loved every moment of joy, sadness, steam and surprise. I have loved everything that this author has written and while this one is a tad darker than previous books, it is just as great as all her other works!

This was a fun suspense read! Keaton & Henley's relationship moves super quick, while feeling solid. Keaton starts out thinking he'll never find his other half due to his past, but as soon as he meets his little bird, he knows she's special.
Henley doesn't fully trust easily, but feels the connection with Keaton, and does trust him quickly.
I love the progression of their relationship & also the way his team folds her into their family right away. Excellent banter with the whole crew! And when Henley meets Jade & pulls her into the family, too, I loved that!
Enjoyable suspense, the right pop of 🔥, & a fun found family made this a quick, fabulous read!!

And the way that the next book in the series is set up throughout this one without taking away from the main plot? Perfection! Definitely a must-read book for 2024!

When Keaton was a teenager he uncovered the truth about his father and shattered his world. This drove him to be an FBI agent, the only thing he has not successfully managed is wanting a relationship until he sees Henley. There is something about her that has Keaton rethinking his stance because the more he gets to know her the more he knows she is his end game. The only hurdle in his way is a serial killer they are hunting down that has the same killing pattern of his father. Can he figure it out in time before the killer sets his sites on Henley?
Terrific beginning to new series. I really enjoyed all the characters in the FBI and are curious if they will all get their own books. Page turning suspense kept me riveted.

This book is absolutely amazing. The storyline is engrossing, intense, and well-written while the characters are likable, relatable, and make you feel like you’re part of the gang while reading. Keaton and Henly have an electric connection from first meet and it continues to grow stronger as the story progresses. There are twists and turns that keep you engaged and a rollercoaster of emotions from beginning to end. This is a fast-paced read full of suspense, action, romance, wonderful team camaraderie, great character development, witty banter, chemistry, and unbreakable bonds. I cannot wait to read the rest of the teams’ stories.

This book is captivating. I was immediately drawn in by the characters and the way that C.B. Noy makes you feel like you're part of the family. Keaton has had a rough upbringing, discovering his dad is a serial killer. However, he turned that hurt into something good by becoming an FBI agent. When his past comes back to haunt him and he stumbles across one of the most beautiful girls he's ever seen, he has to work quickly to catch the copy cat and keep her safe. Henley is also dealing with problems of her own. As a diabetic, a struggling college student, and with a man determined to ruin her, Henley has to make difficult decisions to stay alive. Henley and Keaton are explosive together. Seriously, their chemistry is off the charts. Combined with Keaton's team and their friends, I couldn't get enough of this family. I would highly recommend reading this book, I can't wait for Shattered.

This author has quickly become one of my favorites. From the first couple of pages of this book you know the author is going to wow you and she delivers beautifully. When these two characters meet you know this will be a rollercoaster of a ride for both of them because of their baggage but you know the love story will be beautiful and for them it will be a HEA with some turbulence in between.

What a great way to start off a new series. This grabbed me from the first page, and I was so invested all the way till the end.
Keaton was so tormented by his past until he met Henley. The chemistry between these two characters sucked me right in.
The story had so many layers and the twist and turns it took kept me guessing till the very end. This was absolutely fantastic!

Keaton and Little Bird
Things you need to know... Keaton is haunted by his past even though he is a bad 🍑 FBI agent. Little Bird is a strong, independent woman who has had a tough go of it. The 2 of them must fight through their pasts to come together. This is an insta obsession story. As always, CB tells a story like no other. She sucks you in and leaves you wanting more.

Edge of My Seat Read
I loved, loved, loved this book! I read it in one sitting and the story continues to live on in me. I loved all the characters - main and secondary ones and I especially loved Keeton and Henley. This book is a touch darker than CB’s previous books, which made me love it all the more. If you haven’t read one of this author’s books, you MUST read one. Try this one out, I promise you that you will fall in love with her writing. This book was engulfing and I can’t wait to read the next in this new series. But really, all of her books are 5*+ reads.

This book is amazing. I could barely put it down to sleep. Henley and Keaton are on fire! First book of a new series and I can't wait for more. Great character development. Wonderful side characters. So well written. Not enough words to describe this intense suspense romance.

Wow, this book was so incredible from the very first page to the last. While I wondered about Keaton in the last series, this book makes me love him! I absolutely loved Henley and Keaton together. They have a strong connection! This book will keep you guessing until the very last page. I can’t recommend it enough. I can’t wait for more in this series.

Just when I think I’ve read my favorite book by CB Noy, she releases my new favorite book! Haunted is amazing and I couldn’t put it down! Henley and Keaton drag you in and take you for an action packed ride. I love how the characters have such depth in their history and how they learn to make the best with what life has given them. So excited for the next book in this series!
