He calls me baby. His perfect little girl. His princess.
Moving back to the town I’d grown up in was the last thing I wanted to do. But after having my heart broken by my ex, I had to go somewhere, and the job was too good to pass up. My first night visiting the local club, I met a man who ties my tongue — and heart — into knots.
Adam Stone tells me that my little side is precious. That my submission is beautiful. He makes me feel protected, loved, and desirable.
He’s also my highschool best friend’s father.
With him I can let my little side come out. I am safe. I am his princess. But I can’t let him be my Daddy. Not if it means losing everything. Is the promise of what could be worth risking it all?
Elle Sparrow has had stories roaming in her mind for years. When the COVID-19 Pandemic caused states and counties to issue stay-at-home orders, resulting in her being laid off from work as a paralegal, she seized the opportunity to tell you the story that is The Omega Trilogy. Her books take a look into a world and a community that she has been a part of for over a decade, bringing personal experiences, along with research, into her craft.
When she isn't writing, Elle spends her time with her loving family, as well as working full-time as a paralegal, once the stay-at-home orders were lifted and she could return to the office, that is.
With the love and support from her family and friends, and many more stories in her mind that are begging to be told, she has no plans to stop writing, now that the creative goddess inside of her has been awakened!
Ok so honestly not my trope at all, it feels just a little ick but that’s just the trope itself, as for the book it was a short (under 200) but actually really good- silver fox who is former bffs dad- oh yeah it went there! Super spicy and really spicy MMC.
I don’t mind an age gap or submissive daddy trope, but this one just didn’t do it for me. The teddy bear, coloring and reading children’s books, wearing kid onesies, the pet names that were used for everything, and the constant use of the words “Jeepers” just didn’t do it for me at all. The only good thing about this was it was a quick read. 🙃
PLOT: Willow is moving back home. She meets the hero in a club and sparks fly. He becomes her daddy, and she is his little girl.
THOUGHTS: I loved this! I adore DDlg books and this one really hit the spot. The spice is phenomenal. I can't wait to see what Elle Sparrow writes next! I recommend this book if you like valentine's romances, BDSM, and DDlg! <3
right so overall it's 3 stars but the sexy bits of this book were 5/5 like elite delicious yummy. not to always be a ddlg ass bitch but i ate this UPPPPP like im a "Daddy" girl thru and thru so yupppppppp loved it! but some of the terminology made me cringe hard as HELL and this is coming from someone who has practiced the lifestyle in this book for 10+ years now.. maybe that's just me tho..
Im not really into the "Daddy" thing, but I'm doing a reading challenge and I needed the 'X' so I thought what the hell. Um...this was beyond creepy. The scenes were just, ick. You want her to play with dolls and talk like a 4 year old but you want to f*ck her? Maybe I'm reading too much into it. Amazon wouldn't let me leave 0 stars so I gave it 1. Nothing against the author, just....not for me.
Willow (h), a BBW little, returns to her hometown, Providence, Rhode Island, seeking solace after a heartbreak. A chance encounter at a local BDSM club introduces her to Adam (H), a Daddy Dom, sparking a passionate connection. The twist? Adam is her high school best friend's father. Willow and Adam's story delves into self-acceptance, communication, and the challenges of taboo romance. Willow and Adam share an intense chemistry, including BDSM scenes, age regression, and somnophilia, and their relationship unfolds amidst the complexities of their unconventional connection. Hot and steamy age gap, DDlg BDSM romance, navigating themes of family, friendship, and love.
Please look at TWs🫶 just in case it’s not your type of thing
This is my first time reading DDlg and it’s definitely something I can’t say I’m into…but I enjoyed the story and love the whole protectiveness the MMC had 🫶 I would have loveddd reading from MMC pov sometimes!
I really didn’t like the “best friend” idk the whole time it just felt like she was painfully annoying and constantly demanding :/
Favorite Quote: “I’m glad to hear it, princess, but you are mine,” 🫣
Definitely recommend if you love ~ DDlg (Daddy Dom/little girl) ~ BDSM ~ Best Friends Dad👀
(I was given an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review!)
Do I understand the relationship dynamic in this book? No, no I do not. Do I need to understand the relationship in this book? Nope, you do you honey. Whatever toast your bagel. Do I love the supportive, consenting relationship depicted in this book? Hell yes, pop off MMC, consent King. Do I wish other words were used when describing some of the female anatomy and spicy acts (IYKYK)? 100% yes.
A lot of thoughts on this one. I needed a palate cleanser after spending a LOT of time in the high Sierras with a bunch of snowed in pioneers who had other… appetites (you know I had to). I had a list of Valentine’s themed romances I never got to and this was one of them. It was there (with a tasteful cover… these cartoon covers on kink books aren’t my favorite) because I’ve known people in DDlg relationships but have never really asked or known them well enough to ask. And sure, I am fully aware that romance novels are not BDSM textbooks, but I know good rep when I see it.
I had thought DDlg meant something a bit different than how this book depicted it. I think I’m half right. In some dynamics it’s not the subject of a filthy novella. But in others that’s kind of the point. So here we are, taking daddy/little girl role playing a bit farther than I was comfortable with but the romance was also super cute? And heartwarming? And I was rooting for them the whole time?
One thing I loved so much is that neither of the main characters came from a traumatic background that “explained” their desires. They were just into it. I also like a plus-sized FMC role that isn’t all about her weight. It feels so much more true to life and true to this couple. And the BDSM club scenes were well depicted and nicely crafted.
The thing that tripped me up is how problematic it all felt EVEN THOUGH I KNOW my attitude and instinctual kink-shaming are potentially the real problem. I found some of the REALLY deep-into-role-playing scenes tough to get through. But that’s something I love about books. I can stretch my POV on humanity by reading sensitive and sincere rep and suspend my judgment a little.
Will I pick up another DDlg book? No. Was this one still nicely done and sweet? Absolutely.
Willow and Adam did not play when it came to feelings of the heart. I thought that the book was very steamy and so much fun to read. I enjoyed the romance of the two main characters through their intimacies. The seduction scenes were very intense, but in a good way. Willow and Adam story was exciting and very sensual. The writer is very talented. The writer captured my attention to so many fun parts of the book. The writing is great and the book is terrific. I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.
I knew there was age play in this before I started this book. I have ready books with age play before and been fine but “cunny”, “cummies” and “clitty”????? Please bsffr rn
So far: TW - bullying (past, recounted), anxiety, death of a parent (past, mentioned), sexual harassment (ex to FMC), fat shaming and self deprecating talk
2.5 stars. Ya learn something everyday 😂. Not a trope I’m into, but I get it. The storyline itself was simple, but effective. The language used is part of the trope, but it was a little (pun not intended) cringe for me (jeepers, cunny…). To each their own though, not here to yuck someone’s yum - glad there’s something out there for everyone.
The dynamics are not what I usually go for, except bdsm and age gap. I give 4 stars anyways because I really loved the relationship and connection between the two MCs, and I appreciated a lot how, giving consent and communicating, are both treated as very important topics
I don’t like the way she treated his daughter. Made me simply not like the book. She had such pick me tendencies and the Debby Ryan hair tuck did it for me
I wish I could rate it 0 stars because that’s what it deserves. The kink is readable but the fmc was so unbearable
One of the best DdLg stories I have read thus far. Perfect amount of spicy and cuteness. I loved how accurate it was to the lifestyle as well. A must read for anyone in the ddlg community.
I really enjoyed how short and quick this book was to read. I was drawn into this book within the first two chapters. I thought the plot was okay, it was really simple. Willow moves back home, met her hero at a club and sparks fly. I thought the chemistry of Adam and Willow felt natural. They felt like two magnets that were being pulled toward each other. The spice was phenomenal! I like a submissive daddy or age gap trope. Some parts of this book including the daddy/little girl kink made me uncomfortable. The constant use of “jeepers” was really annoying to me. I recommend this book if you like bdsm or Valentine romances!
Wtf did I just read. No shade to anyone who likes this kind of kink but it’s definitely not for me. Darn you A to Z challenge!!! I just needed a short X book to help finish out the year. ☹️
I don’t even want to get into details. I obviously missed what the book was about. I thought it was a dom/sub relationship with an older man who was her best friends dad. But I didn’t realize it was a daddy kink.
If that’s your thing then it’s not terrible. But it just felt all a little pedi….
I actually really liked this book except for three major aspects.
1.) Even though the kink was enjoyable I hated some of the sayings being used like “clitty” and “cunny” and also the FMC said “Jeepers” a lot which was really cringe. 2.) The friendship in this book was hard to read. Willow (the FMC clearly didn’t wanna be friends with Alyssa but Alyssa never got the hints and just kept demanding that they were still besties. And Willow tbh kept having such mixed feelings about her. On one hand she’d monologue about how much Alyssa meant to her and how she wanted to rekindle their friendship but then any time they’d talk Willow you blatantly be like “We aren’t friends anymore” Then at the climax of the book when they do become friends again only Alyssa has to apologize for being a bitch even tho Willow was pretty shit to her the entire time. It was very toxic tbh 3.) Lastly Willow started irritating me with not just being honest about her feelings which was clearly the authors attempt at stretching the book out. This book could have been 50 pages shorter if Willow just TALKED. (Mind you the book was only 184 pages) Also side note, during the climax Adam (the MMC) started punching the walls and yelling and even though it technically wasn’t towards her but the guy who assaulted her, it still made me really uncomfortable. Like huge red flag.
Bonus: I understand the kink element makes things much more intimate between people but lets bffr they are out here saying “I love you so deeply and only want you” after 3 weeks *disappointed sigh*
Xoxo Daddy was different. I’ve read many BDSM books before, but never one fully focused on Little life. Once I got use to the kink genre, I was able to read it for what it was worth. A happy “little” love story! Glad to have this new experience!
XOXO, Daddy is the first Novella I have read in a long time--I was drawn in just by the first few chapters and unable to put it down. I would have finished it in one day, but I had to entertain and prep for my Son's birthday party. If you love Daddy Dom/Age Gap and DDLG romances--this will be the book for you to devour. I will admit this was my first ddlg romance--I am disappointed that I never dwelled into them before because this story was perfect as an introduction. Everything felt natural; the relationship between Willow and Adam was hot! I was feeling the emotions of Willow and related to everything she was going through; she was so realistic that you felt drawn to her situations and feelings, which made the plot more personal.
Willow returns home to Providence when getting a job offer she cannot refuse--excited to start over again with her mother nearby, only she is upset to leave her close friends behind. When visiting Club Obsidian, she runs into a man while checking out the Littles Room, only to realize that the guy is her high school best friend's dad.
The possessive protective side of Adam is both hot and sweet--you can see the chemistry between him and Willow just from the first interaction. They felt like magnets with how much they pulled one another; Adam knew what Willow was thinking by her facial expression and tone--he knew her better than she expected. The scenes they did together never needed explanation; comfortability and trust showed they never needed to voice what they wanted or needed to instruct because of how in tune they were.
I never have read Elle Sparrow's books before; this was my first introduction, and I was not disappointed. She has a way of drawing you in from the very first page and with realistic characters. Though BDSM and fetishes were used in the book, nothing about it was filler or just there for smut value--it had a way to lure you in and appreciate the content it was used for.
In addition, XOXO, Daddy is a brilliant and steamy Novella with some exploration of BDSM, Self Love, Taking Risks, and Friendships that explore being open even with the risks of opening yourself up. The characters were relatable and intriguing, never leaving you bored. The dynamic between Willow and Adam was written beautifully.
Please read the trigger warnings before proceeding because the story does have sexual content that might make some uncomfortable--Willow is into Regressive Play. If that is not your thing, you should not proceed any further.
XOXO, Daddy is a DDlg (Daddy Dom little girl) age gap romance. This is my first time reading a DDlg book and am not well versed on this scene.
The book centers around Willow Ashford and Adam Stone. Willow, a BBW, has returned home to Providence, RI after receiving an amazing job opportunity - Director of Marketing. Her career is going well, and she has a great relationship with her mother, but her love life is currently lacking.
Willow is a little, and in order to find her community, she tours Club Obsidian, a local BDSM club. It is there that she meets Adam, a man who takes her breath away. Perhaps he could be her Daddy? Or perhaps not given that he just so happens to be her high school best friend's father. Willow tries to stay away, but the two have intense chemistry together and when Adam lets her know that he wants her too, sparks fly.
There is a lot going on in this little book. Their shared proclivity is just what we see first. In addition to trying to find the right person for her, Willow also struggles with her own self-image as a person of size, and she fears having her sexual preferences known. There is also the age difference, and her connection to this man who watched her grow up. It seems like she struggles with open and honest communication and is more likely to avoid a situation than work through it... even when she knows that's not the right choice.
I loved Willow's relationship with her mother. And her mother had some excellent words of wisdom including:
"Big problems are just a group of small problems you haven't broken down into achievable tasks yet."
This is a spicy one, folks! I would encourage you to try to enjoy the ride, but if it isn't to your taste, just remember not to yuck someone else's yum. While the author's note is very clear that this book is not intended to be a source of education, I still felt like it opened my eyes to something new, and I thank her for that. I look forward to checking out more of her work.
“XOXO, Daddy” by Elle Sparrow is a captivating and extra-spicy tale that I would have finished in one sitting if it hadn’t been for that pesky thing called sleep. It is a must-read for fans of Daddy Dom and age play romance, as well as anyone looking for a story that is both emotionally satisfying and sexually charged.
Willow is a BBW little who has returned to her hometown, Providence, RI, after receiving a job offer she couldn’t turn down. She runs into a Daddy Dom at a BDSM club – who turns out to be her high school best friend’s father, Adam – and sparks fly.
The chemistry between Willow and Adam is palpable, and their relationship evolves quickly throughout the story.
Sparrow’s writing style is engaging and immersive, drawing the reader into the story from the very first page. The pacing is spot-on, with just the right balance of tension, romance, and character development. The author also represents the fetish aspects of the story masterfully, making it an integral part of the narrative instead of simply a means of adding spice to the story.
The only thing that I think could have made this story better would have been to see the story from Adam’s eyes with an alternating POV.
Overall, "XOXO, Daddy" is a heartwarming and sensual contemporary BDSM romance that explores themes of self-acceptance, communication, family, and friendship while also providing a satisfying and super steamy love story. The characters are well-developed, the writing is engaging, and the fetish aspect is handled with care and sensitivity.
Be sure to read and heed the trigger warnings provided as the story contains sexual contact between the characters while Willow is regressed. If this isn’t your thing, you may want to skip this one.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
🌹With Valentine's Day just around the corner, XOXO, Daddy has a beautiful combination of story and BDSM. ⚠️Like all adult romance novels, check the trigger warnings.⚠️ I could not put this book down. I was hooked from the start and just loved the dynamic of Adam and Willow. How he made her feel so safe to just let go and feel free to be who she was. I found it beautiful, from the moment they met and talked about milkshakes, before she realized it was her high school best friends father. As hard as she tried to not let anything happen, sometimes fate has other plans, and this book really proves that. When Adam and Willow first begin interacting and her negative body image started getting in the way and Adam answered with, "That is the last warning you are going to get, little lady. No more self-deprecating talk. Period. Do I make myself clear." I instantly spoke out loud, 'YES DADDY!' because like ... 🥴🥵 I was so glad my partner was focused on his game because I instantly started blushing and just kept reading. 💟The books that get you blushing and feeling all giggly, are the BEST!! This book is one of those and its a definite must read of 2024!!!💟

Willow returns to her hometown after getting her heart broken by her ex. A job offer comes up that she can't refuse and of she goes back to her hometown. Everything is up in the air for her at the moment and getting back into a routine she had at her old place weighs on her mind. And to top it off she has a few horrible days at work. She also needs to find a new b*sm club. After finding time to go she can't bring herself to step in the room her nerves are getting the better off her. That's when she's introduced to Adam who's sexy voice rings out behind her. When she plucks up the courage to look she can't take her eyes off the silver fox he's stunning. She wonders if he's a daddy Dom and he also looks familiar, that's when it clicks she know him !! It's her highschool best friends father!
"I'm glad to hear sweetheart, but you are mine."
Willow can't help the way Adam makes her feel, he takes her breathe away. She thinks he can be her daddy! But maybe not due to him being the best friends father. The only thing she can do is stay away but even that proves difficult due to the strong connection and chemistry they share. Sparks fly between the two off them when Adam tells her he wants her and that's she's his.
Alot goes on in this story. The character building was great, but seeing willow struggle was heartbreaking specially with her body image. It was a rollercoaster that's for sure, it's steamy and heartwarming, with scenes off self acceptance, family, friends, love, communication and more..I really enjoyed it..
Rating: 3.25/5 (rounded to 4/5) Trope: Daddy dom/ little girl BDSM Age gap
Plot: Willow moves back to her hometown to be closer to her mom, and ends up finding her best friends dad in a club. She plays a little girl throughout the book, and he becomes her daddy
Thoughts: The premise of the book is cute, I usually like daddy dom books, but I dont think this trope, or just the way it was written was for me. This is the first book I’ve read where she literally acts as a little girl all the time and he is the daddy at all times. I am probably not well versed in this trope, which is not the authors fault. Ive read daddy trope books before but this one was just not for me. She still wrote really well and the spices scenes were…. Hella spicey. I just dont understand why there were little kids in the club as well, in the “little’s” room, if anyone could explain that, that would be great. I have a feeling I just didn’t understand fully when i read that scene. I give this a 4/5 because 1) not the authors fault that as i read this, i determined it is not for me 2). The story was well put together and did have a plot and spicy scenes i enjoyed 3) this book is perfect for someone who loves daddy dom/little girl books like this that are detailed.
Safety: Virgin/ Celebate: none Cheating/sharing: none Triggers: see trigger warning, basically bdsm related. HEA: yes, daddy provides a special Valentine’s Day for his princess.
Whoooo dawgie…I’m speechless, which probably isn’t the best for someone to write a review hahaha. I give this book 3.5 out of 5 stars and too many chili peppers to count.
I honestly didn’t know what I was getting in to, and the book left me with all kinds of feels I still don’t know how to explain 🫣 This is a BDSM book with a kink I’ve never heard of and, not gonna lie, I was really turned off at first. BUT Elle has such a way with words that it isn’t even about the actual kink, but the way it makes Willow (the FMC) feel and WHY she reverts to that headspace.
Willow moves back to her hometown of Providence after snagging a job as the head of a marketing department for a pharmaceutical company. She is bombarded with a lot of memories from her childhood and how she was treated - she’s a BBW so people are nasty - and she decides to check out her local BDSM scene to get herself comfortable. Y’all, let me tell you…I was NOT READY. I was not ready to discover her kink, I was not ready for Adam (a yummy yummy silver fox) and I was not ready for the drama. But.Was.Hooked!
This was a quick novella and, usually, I feel like novellas leave me wanting and are written messily; but this was written SO WELL! I would 100% recommend going into this read with an open mind and trying to understand the FMC and MCs reasonings behind why they’re interested in this specific BDSM area…and be prepared to be educated 😆
