Tyler James loves Addison Parker. He has made mistakes, but his love is always constant. He wants to be with her, but through lies and misunderstandings it doesn’t seem possible anymore. When a single moment changes his future, will he be able to come back and pick up the pieces of their relationship, or did he finally break all of her faith in him?

Leigh Ann Lunsford is stay at home mom turned author. She writes Romance/New Adult and loves her happily ever after in all books and movies. She lives with her husband, son, and four dogs in Fleming Island, Florida. When she isn’t writing or reading you can find her stuck in front of really bad reality shows or watching Sons of Anarchy. Leigh Ann has a filthy mouth and a huge amount of sarcasm that knows no end. She hopes to give the voices in her head an outlet with many more novels to come.
*** Author review *** This was harder to write than the first book. I wanted to give this couple justice and be able to show their love. The depth of it and while not always pure, it was true love. There are no two people who love each other more.... This one is more of "cliffhanger" than book one, Not Enough, but all can be read as standalone and the cliffhanger is for the next book or next set of characters. Tyler will frustrate you and then make you cheer for him to get his girl. Addison is in a different place than she was in Not Enough and we see almost a bitter side to her, but it is her pain talking
I received this book from the Author in exchange for an honest review!
I am so ecstatic about this series that I had to re-read Colby and Brielle's story (to get my "Brielle-tude" on) before diving into Tyler and Addison's story. There is never a dull moment in the Parker's Family. "Not Leaving" will take you to places that was so unexpected. It will cover some years prior to both of the books up to 2018.
Without giving too much away, I would describe this book a bit more suspenseful with lots of secrets that will keep you in the dark, some that will haunt you, and some come to light. I really enjoyed how the author let us get in some of the other characters POV as well which you will meet through out the book.
Yes, it does end in a cliffhanger but it will definitely be worth the wait for Cambree's story!
"I am so thankful for all our trials and tribulations, because they make moments like this so much sweeter." ~~ Addison
"I just want one promise from you, that you will always love your daddy, even when he screws up. I am not perfect, my little angels, but you are my perfection." ~~ Tyler with his twin girls
"Sometimes we have to fall before we soar. It just takes some of us more tries to get our wings that others. Just don't overthink the situation. Things will fall in place." ~~ Tyler
Review of Not Leaving (Book 2 in The Parker Siblings Series)
by Leigh Ann Lunsford
A couple strained, a family broken.
Addison Parker had it all, but that all fell apart. Her life isn't how she thought it would be. She was left alone and pregnant, by her only lover, her fiance. Now, she is living a lie and hurting inside.
With a phone call and a secret revealed, Tyler is back to claim what is his. His girl's... All three of them.
"This is my family, and I will fight for it with my last breath."- Tyler
Two words broke everything apart, but Tyler will do whatever it takes to win Addison back, and have his family whole. He needs his Lil' Bit
Addison and Tyler will have to make their self vulnerable to each other. Say things they never wanted to say and fight to get it all back together.
"You will always be my compass in the world, because where ever you are is my home. I won't ever get lost as long as I have your support."- Tyler
Can two people who made mistakes fix the wrong and get their happily ever after. Or is one too many mistakes have Addison saying, "I'm done"?
"It has always been you. I don't know why, or how. I just know it's always you."- Addison
Not Leaving is a story of fighting for what you believe in and holding strong. Addison did what any woman would of done to protect her girls. She's hurt and broken, and the one person to put her back together is Tyler. Tyler screwed up, but he is there to fix it and he will not leave, again. They are trying to build their relationship back up and find trust. Can they make it better than it ever was? Addison is strong, level headed, but deep down she is suffering and wanting her family back together. Tyler is relentless in his pursue of getting his girls. This story was full of moments that will make you scream, smile, say "AWW", and have you cringe. Not only do we read about Addison and Tyler, but we get peeks into the other siblings we grew to love in the first book. The plot thickens and we are left saying, "NO! WTF!" Bravo Leigh Ann, you gave me a sleepless night of thinking what was going to happen next. I give this book 5 stars!!!
I had to get this review out of my head straight away whilst i am still dying from the ending. I just finished this book about 20 minutes ago, I am so in love with this series its crazy! I thought i loved the first book but adored this book the same if not more.
Leigh Ann Lunsford you tremendously talented woman YOU!!
Not Leaving by Leigh Ann Lunsford is the second novel in the PARKER SIBLINGS series.
This is Addison and Tyler’s story.
Addison and Tyler have been in love with one an other since her first day at her new school when she moved to Tennessee. For Tyler it was love at first sight and claimed her as his immediately. Addison did not mind this hot and sweet boy lay his claim on her, she felt the instant connection they had and fell in love with him straight away.
Going through her grandparents deaths and raising her younger siblings he has always been her rock and been there whenever she needed him, After a single moment changes both their futures Tyler leaves her when she needs him the most in her life. Addison is devastated and isn’t the same Addy Parker for a long time.
Tyler loves Addison and will never love anyone in his life but her. Yes he has a funny way of showing it but he has his reasons. You find out why he is the way his, why he has his insecurities and the reasons he believes leaving is the best remedy. Through all the lies, betrayal and misunderstandings he is determined to win the love of this life back, to prove to her that he is done leaving her and is NOT LEAVING his 3 girls and their big CRAZYASS family.
Addison Parker is a strong, beautiful and sassy mouthed character. You see a softer vulnerable side to her in this book that you didn’t see in book 1 and I think it is amazing. I wanted to reach in and hug her sometimes. She is one of the more genuine characters (besides Brielle) that i have read about in a while. She has her insecurities and reasons for keeping her secrets from Tyler but you would to if you knew what she went through.
Tyler James is a hot, hopeless romantic with insecurities and the most determination I have read about in a character. Yes he has made mistakes but he is trying his damnedest to make up for them for his 3 girls. He definitely proves to me that he is worthy of the love of Addison and should be apart of his girls lives.
I think Addison and Tyler’s relationship is awe-inspiring, to have gone through the past they have and work through it all and still love each the same if not more than they did when they first met is just WOW. Even though they have been together for a long time, than apart for a while they are still crazy passionate about each other like when they were teenagers. Some scenes between them are so emotionally real and tear jerking. They have real problems which makes this book so relate-able to the real world.
All the Parker siblings, Colby and a few new characters are in the story with their own chapter POV. I think it’s so brilliant the way Leigh Ann does this is her story’s. It shows more of the story and shows the different thoughts from each character, its like you get 9 stories in 1.
It has the most beautifully written words i have EVER read in a book. (Leigh Ann i might have to hire you to write something gorgeous for my wedding hehehe). I cried ALOT but laughed even more, nothing beats those Parker’s sense of humor and their smart-ass sassy saucy mouths.
When i finished i literally screamed WTF NOOOOO. . . why would you end it there? like that?. OMG im in such a book hangover state of mind just thinking about the characters and what they are up to now. I am waiting very very impatiently for the third book NOT HIDING which is released on May 6th.
Leigh Ann you are a spectacular Author. Your words are perfect, impeccable, amazing, brilliant and just WOWZERS!
Not Leaving essentially picks up where Not Enough's epilogue ended. Addison recently gave birth to twin girls, and has brought Mitch, the hot cop from Daytona back with her. Tyler, her old boyfriend storms in, announces that he knows she lied, found out she had the babies and he knows he is the father. She tells him she didn't lie, that when he asked her to "fix" her pregnancy and she told him he didn't have to worry about it anymore, she meant it. These are her children and he has no part in their lives.
"Tyler, I will tell you this one damn time. These kids are mine. You made your choice, which forced me to make mine. You are not on the birth certificate because there wasn't a line to list sperm donor, only daddy, and you are not that. You can take your hands off my daughter now. You will not destroy them like you did me."
To catch you up to the present, after ten years of a relationship, once Tyler found out Addy was pregnant, that was the kiss of death for them. They were engaged, but he did what he always does-he ran out on her. She told him that he didn't have to worry about it any more and he never contacted her after that. Not to check up on her, not to see her-nada!
Addy, with the help of her friend Mitch, did it all alone. And now she is back home from Florida and is determine that Tyler has no place in their lives. She gives him the impression that she is involved with Mitch romantically (not true). Tyler just about flips his lid. He tells her he knows he screwed up, but he is going to take responsibility for his little girls and for her. He knows he has lots to make up for. His has major parenting issues and a potential "Who's Your Daddy" scare made him realize, he had no interest in being a father. He swears this has changed.
"I am not going anywhere. I may have been a dick, but that doesn't change the fact you lied to me. So, take tonight to come up with a solution that has me in the equation. I am not going anywhere and if you try and fight me about this, make no mistake I will fight back. I will be by tomorrow, and please have your boy toy gone."
Brielle, Addy's sister and her husband Colby, (Tylerâ's cousin) are just as pissed at Tyler. They let him have it with both barrels. But over and over, Tyler tries to tell them he will show them with his actions, not his words, how sincere he is.
Meanwhile, Mitch backs away and moves to his own place. His brother Max is here with him now and there are some strange things going on with these two cops. Something that involves the whole Parker family.
There is a lot of back and forth between Addy and Tyler-she is afraid to trust her heart, he needs a second chance. At times, I did feel the story moved a little slowly and was a bit repetitive with these two. But once Cambree and Dustin, Addy and Brielle's siblings, and Mitch and Max's involvement was thrown in the mix, the story moved along nicely, Seems Cambree and Max were involved, but had a bad break up. Mitch is involved with his own love interest now-Kalyleigh. He is tracking Brent, the Parkers' father's political aid. This guy is bad to the bone and is the reason the Parkers' grandparents got custody of the family in the first place. Dustin, who is now going to be a senior in high school, is bound and determined to live with his parents and is bringing a whole heap of trouble into everyone's life. Cambree is starting college and is in more danger than she realizes.
Addy and Tyler finally get their act together, after some angsty moments. I am looking forward to Not Hiding..this one will be Cambree and Max's story.
"Just remember, Addy, I wasn't always that way. Sometimes we have to fall before we soar. It just takes some of us more tries to get our wings than others."
The last thing I need is penetration from him…to my heart or vagina. (Seriously loved everything about this line) Okay, note to self, no more Moscato when dealing with Tyler, because that wine glass mixed with Tyler’s passion is like an insta-flame to my panties. She thought I hung the moon, and I loved her putting me on that pedestal. Problem is I crashed down from that bitch, and I don’t know if redemption is in sight. We are a mess…a free for all, mud-slinging mess…but underneath all that dirt, is a love so pure it gleams. I love my sister. She is always in some shit. I just fist bump that bitch.
Synopsis:
Not Leaving is book two in the Parker Siblings’ Series and tells the story of the oldest sibling, Addison. It picks up right where Not Enough left off. I don’t want to ruin the storyline for those who haven’t read book 1, so I’ll keep it simple.
After nearly a decade together, Tyler James (Colby’s cousin) and Addison Parker’s relationship is nearly ruined with lies, deception, and betrayal. Tyler returns and is determined to reclaim Addy’s love. New characters are introduced which has the makings of more heartbreak for the Parker siblings. Dustin Parker (the youngest and only male) is questioning his place in the family dynamics. His impulsiveness brings evil right in their midst. Can Addison trust Tyler and give him another chance?
Review:
Not Leaving has good solid writing and Leigh Ann Lunsford wit that is addictive. I love this family. They love hard, play hard and fight hard, just as one of them boasts in the book. These siblings face real-life dilemmas. They aren’t perfect, by any means, but what sets these characters—this series—apart is the realistic reactions Leigh Ann infuses into them. I have to say I sided with Addison in the entire heartbreaking predicament. Tyler let her down time and again, so how the hell was she supposed to respond? He heard, in her statement, what he wanted to hear. Again, without giving too much away, it is hard to go in-depth. Addison’s fear and pain were quite relatable. She hurt and I hurt for her. She smiled and I smiled with her. The power of the author’s pen makes the reader feel what the characters feel. I even sympathized with Tyler once he’d groveled enough. Thank you, Leigh Ann Lunsford, for gifting us with the Parker Siblings and their struggles that they face with determination and humor.
The Good:
1. Leigh Ann Lunsford’s wit and unique voice. 2. Addison Parker. She’s the sensible one, the calm in everyone’s storm. She’s strong, loves her family, and knows what she wants. Once Tyler proves to her that he isn’t leaving, she bravely gives him—and their love—another chance.
The Bad:
1. The first half of the book was slightly repetitious. On the bright side, we were able to get more of Addison, more of Brielle and, most importantly, more of those two sexy-as-hell James cousins, Tyler and Colby.
We were first introduced to Addison and Tyler in “Not Enough”. We saw bits and pieces of their relationship and their trials and tribulations, but just enough to keep us salivating for more! “Not Leaving” give us the big picture into their lives; from their lust-at-first-sight meeting, through a couple breakups, and some life-altering choices.
Addison, like Brielle, has played a huge role in raising her younger siblings. Tyler has been in Addison’s life for so long that he has also helped to raise them and views them as family as well. Addison and Tyler are very similar in that neither had great parents. They have their own issues they need to get past before they can work out their relationship. After finally learning the truth about their parents, Addison has the closure she needs is finally about to move past it.
“I love this boy with all my heart, always have, probably always will, but I don’t know that this emotional healing we are doing will ever let me put my faith and trust in him.”
I HATED Tyler throughout most of the first book. He made so many poor decisions and honestly, I felt that Addison deserved much better. This book definitely changed that for me. He just had a lot of growing up to do. They say a child changes you for the better, in this case it’s definitely true. As soon as Tyler knew about his girls, he was not about to let anyone or anything stand in his way. He was going to get his girls back and he was going to be the best damn father he could be. He just had to get past his insecurities and his desire to run away when things got rough. Once he finally got past his own issues, he had to prove to Addison that he was “not leaving”.
“We are a mess…a free for all, mud-slinging mess…but underneath all that dirt, is a love so pure it gleams.”
This absolutely describes the relationship between Tyler and Addison.
This book is also alternating POV like “Not Enough” and again, I think it’s perfect. We got to really see both sides, as well as a little bit of the other characters thoughts. Another fast-paced and great read! There is the added element of suspense in this book. For a while I knew something was building but had no idea what I was in for! There’s definitely some angst, but another fun and entertaining read with lots of Parker banter and sibling love! Another amazing story and I can’t wait to read the next story in the Parker saga.
This book focuses on Addison and Tyler and their journey towards family. Addison doesn’t have quite the sharp tongue that Brielle possesses and Tyler is not quite the hopeless romantic that Colby is, but these two are magic together. Magic in the soul mate, childhood sweethearts, meant to be kind of way. And while they start the book farther apart than they’ve ever been, watching them come back together serves to compound that magic and turn it into something even more spectacular.
Leigh Ann Lunsford has incredible snap and crackle to her writing that is just an absolute joy to read. She has the southern cadence of speech down to a fine science and pairing her firecracker dialogue with her smart and sassy characters creates a world that is just flat fun to read.
All of the characters in this series are authentic and the situations they find themselves in are equally as real, which allows me to empathize with them through all of their trials and tribulations in their individual paths in life.
The humor in this story balances the trauma and drama perfectly and just allows the whole book to come together as a solid novel.
If you don’t know the Parker Siblings yet, pick these books up as soon as you can, you won’t regret it!
Leigh Ann Lunsford, woman your writing is outstanding! I loved the first book and this one just as much. This is the second book of the Parker Siblings series. I won't go into detail because I dislike spoilers but it truly is an amazing read.
This book begins with Addison and Tyler's story. Tyler has came back into town wanting his woman back and won't take no for an answer. Addison is just like the rest of the gang tough as nails with a sweet and sensitive core. She gives Tyler a good fight. Even though Tyler deserves the "jerk of the year award" he does prove that he is worthy of Addison's love.
This book isn't totally about Addison and Tyler, other members of the Parker crew are involved. I liked how the POV changes at the right moment, so you know what is going on in each character's mind. There is never a dull moment when this family is involved. My emotions were all over the place, I was sad, happy, and angry. When you read this book you feel like you are apart of this family and you want everything to work out for them.
The ending got to me, I wasn't expecting a cliffhanger. I kept swiping my kindle thinking NO this can not be the end. I can't wait for the next book to see what happens next in the Parker family. Highly recommend.

I just thought I was in love Brielle and Colby. Then I got to read Tyler and Addison’s story. I love this family and can’t wait to dive into book three. The author’s ability to weave intricate character plots throughout both the first book and this one is really a talent, one many authors fail at, Leigh Ann Lunsford has done a beautiful job with hers. She keeps the characters in their own voice, maintaining their identities; they don’t become muddied by the pull of stronger characters. She has managed to take what seemed to be a HEA love story in book one and throughout book two turned it into a romantic suspense for book three. I can't wait! I strongly recommend reading this series. I have one more to go but so far book two is better than book one but both have been great reads!
Wow after reading Not Enough I was gunning for this book and was hooked from page one.
I loved Addison and Tyler's story. You can't help but be hooked from the start. The author truly drags you in and never lets go. Throughout the whole book I wanted to slap and hug Tyler at the same time. Everyone time he apologized my stomach knotted and my heart hurt for him. I know Addy had every right to punish him for leaving but the dude was trying from the beginning, I was screaming at her to give him a break. Addy had every right to to not trust Tyler but you could tell her heart still belonged to him. Brielle and Colby still hold a place with me but I am so looking forward to Cambree and Max's story and even Dustin's. Simply any epic and beautiful series by the author.
This book picks up a few years after Not Enough. I admit I really liked Addison and Tyler in the first book and was looking forward to their story. I wasn’t let down. Though they have had some major problems along the way you can really feel the love between the two characters and the history they have together. Some of the scenes between the two of them are so well written and romantic. A girl can only dream of a guy saying and doing some of things Tyler does to try and get Addy back. The 2nd half of the book moves forward very quickly and introduces a number of other characters POV’s. One warning there is a major cliffhanger at the end of this one. *** A complimentary copy was provided by the author for an honest review***
Holy cliff hanger... Another Parker sibling book and I am ready for the next one! This one was full of dramatics-- with the added sassy, humor, and family connection that we got from the first book.
I was a huge fan of Addy and Tyler in book one; their love story spanned over 10 years. That is why I was shocked and severely disappointed with Tyler's actions in Not Leaving. I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to get past what he did and love his character again. Thankfully Leigh Ann did a great job of helping to redeem him in my eyes!
"Your past may shape you, but don't let it define you."
I enjoyed the fact that we got multiple points of view throughout the story and I look forward to reading Cambree's story and figuring out what this big mystery is.
As in Not Enough was Brielle and Colby's story, Leigh Ann Lunsford continues with this story but from Addison and Tyler's points of view. Months go by, we watch the siblings go on with their lives. Things were left undone with Addison and Tyler in Not Enough, and things will come to a head in this story. We start learning more about everyone's past and it is bringing it all together.
Leigh Ann Lunsford is an incredible story teller. She writes as if I am in the same room, watching the characters as they go through their lives. She touches my emotions to the point where sometimes, I just want to smack a few of them for what they are doing or saying. Keep up the awesome work Leigh Ann Lunsford. Looking forward to reading a lot more from you.
This book picks up a few years after Not Enough. I admit I really liked Addison and Tyler in the first book and was looking forward to their story. I wasn’t let down. Though they have had some major problems along the way you can really feel the love between the two characters and the history they have together. Being forgiven is divine but forgiving yourself is very hard to do. Addison has a difficult time with Tyler. How do you forgive when he tells you to take care of it? Taking care of it, she has her twins alone. She brings her friend Mitch home and assumptions are made, baby daddy? Tyler comes home when her sister texts him. Mitch comes with history unbeknownst to the Parkers. Brent threatens their paradise and Cambree gets hurt. It brings Max back to her and she wants him. Can't wait to finish the next part. Love this series and would recommend to all who like romance with a side of tears.
I am thoroughly impressed by this author's talent. The storyline flows, characters are fleshed out, and the writing is flawless. I couldn't put this book down. To the point my kids suffered with pizza for dinner(really suffered). I was so sucked in I forgot to order food twice. Loved Tyler and Addison's story. We also got to visit with Colby and Brielle which I loved. As I'm so invested in those two already. This series is seriously hindering my own writing. As I'm starting Not Hiding tonight!!!! You did it again...knocked it out of the park doll.
When I said I was reading this someone said to me "it got a wtf ending"! When I got to the end I did indeed say out loud "wtf!!!" This book is awesome and totally deserves the 5*s given. I love the character, the story and the way it's written. I would defiantly recommend this to others to read and can not wait for book three! Another awesome job well done!
I really did try to finish it, but I couldn't handle the stilted conversations. The story had promise...I'm sure it even ended great from all those great reviews I see, but it just didn't flow for me.
WOW, WOW, and WOW! I love this series by Leigh Ann Lunsford. Every book is packed with emotion and excitement. This family and the Parker Siblings have completely captured my heart. Oh, and the James cousins are smoking hot! Can't wait for the next installment.
Book 2 was more of a 3 1/2 ☆ for me .. almost a 4. The repetitivenes of the lovey dovey over and over again I'm sorry was getting on my nerves. But I still want to see what happens with this family because I'm hooked .
I love all of the Parker siblings The stories just keep getting better and better This is only the second book in the series and my heart is in my mouth! I cannot wait to read the next instalment
This review does have some spoilers! So be aware! Well Leigh Ann has done it again. One hell of a story here. I thought after reading about Brielle and Colby in Not Enough that I couldnt love her books more than Not Enough. Well hell I was wrong!! This story of Addy and Tyler has got me by the heart. Not Leaving will leave you wanting more of Leigh Ann Lunsford's books.
Tyler screwed up telling Addy he was breaking up with her again. He did it once before college and now again. Only this time he opens his mouth and inserts foot. Addy tells him shes pregant. All Tyler can say is "fix it." So Addy does what she thinks is best and moves on with her life and her babies. Tyler thinks she ended the pregnancy when she tells him there in no baby. They were 6 months from being married and 10 years into the relationship. Tyler leaves town for 11 months. He returns to find out there is not 'a' baby, but 2 and he is hell bent on getting his family back. He screwed up once when he and Addy were apart thru college and a girl told him she was pregnant and lied saying it was his. He got the paternity test and it proved her a liar. That scared the crap out of having any kids of his own. He made up his mind he didnt want any. He was afraid because he never told Addy about it. Now he has to pay for what he has done. She told him the night he left there was no coming back and she was serious. Addy is with Mitch now and she isnt in love with him but he is dealing with his own past but yet he has offered to help Addy with the girls. She cant hurt him but she doesnt love him. If it wasnt for Cambree he would have never known about his daughters. Cambree is a mess, but hes grateful she sent him the text. Brielle doesnt even know the truth about the babies. Addy has kept the truth from her own sister to whom she is so close too. Tyler has screwed up! Wait till little miss firecracker herself, Brielle, gets ahold of his ass. Well Tyler is hell bent on being a father to those babies and no one is going to stop him from doing that if he has his way!
One of my favorite parts of Not Enough was the fact the Tyler uses "S" words to describe Brielle to Colby and has yet again come up with using "S" words yet again describing his own situtation with them. Tyler described Brielle to Colby as being sassy smart, stubborn, and a smartass!
Addy is more like Brielle now-a-days. She has become a mother and a little firecracker like her sister. She doesnt put up with anyones crap. Tyler has told Addy he needs a crash course in being a father this even boils her blood even more at him. Addy is still guarding her heart now after Tyler leaving her before and she just cant trust him yet. Will Addy ever let her walls down and let Tyler back in? She is so afraid he will leave again and she doesnt want her heart to go thru that hurt pain a fourth time around. She has her girls to think of and they come first no matter what.
Cambree want to go to a different college, UGA, than Brielle and make a name for herself. With Brielle having a name for being the best cheerleader in college Cambree wants to make her own name now and not follow in Brielles shadow. Not that she isnt grateful for Brielle and Addy raising her, but Cambree feels she needs to do this. But she is afraid of what Dustin will do or say. Her and Dustin are so close in age and with Dustin going on self destructing path right now and if she leaves what will happen to him? She is so curious to what happened to Brielle that she just wants Addy and Brielle to just come out with it and stop trying to shelter her and Dustin. Dustin thinks Addy and Brielle are just being control freaks. Cambree has met Max, Mitch's brother that came to live with Mitch to go to UT to study, and is seeing him now. Or does he go to UT? She has fallen in love with Max and thinks going to a different college than him she feels the farther away from him the better, since he was a player and she was putty in his hands. She handed him her virginity on a silver platter.Once she found out he slept with one of her friends,Kamryn, she lets Max go. They dont have "awkard meetings where she wants to claw his eyes out but she still want to mount him like and bull and ride him for 8 seconds." (another quote from the story) Addy has forgotten about Max and moved on. Or has she forgotten about him? Shes hoping now that she has met Adam and they are going to school together her relationship with Adam will grow and have feelings for Adam like she had for Max. Will she or is her heart set with Max? Will Adam fill the void or will she let him go also? Where is Max fitting in here now? You'll be surprised!!
Mitch has some secrets of his own and has to keep them to himself. He loves the Parker siblings more than ever but there is the secret. He finally tells his secret to Kayleigh. He was afraid she wouldnt want him after he told her. But Kayleigh told him her secret first and this is what moved Mitch to open up to her. What is his secret? What is Kayleigh's secret? Where will they go from here?
Now Dustin the youngest of the Parkers is on a emotional roller coaster. He has gone wild. Drinking, partying and pretty much being a "manwhore." Brielle and Addy havent seen much of this since Tyler and Colby and Cambree kept it from them so they wouldnt be hurt. Dustin has created a fiasco by inviting their parents to Cambree's graduation party. Guess who else comes to the party uninvited also. you have got to read this one to find out the story has taken a turn that will totally shock you. Dustins choices have now hurt everyone and he doesnt know why. But when he finds out its too late. He is forced into something he doesnt want. Its now his turn to step up to the plate and make a sacrifice for his family. What is it? You'll be shocked!!
You have got to read this story. It is so full of emotion that is just beyond belief! The Parker siblings sage lives on and you have read Colby and Brielles story and now you know Tylers and Addys story. You have read about Mitch, Kayleigh and Dustin and Cambree. This story had me laughing and in tears and then pissed off. I cant tell you how much I enjoy this series. Leigh Ann Lunsford has a GREAT series here and you will love it too. Whos story is next in the series could it be Cambree? Dustin? Max? or Mitch and Keyleigh's story? Which ever it is it will be excellent! The plot is getting thicker now and it has me wanting the next book in this series and its going to be a good one guarunteed!

So this is BOOK 2 from the Parker Siblings crew.. and the gang its ALL back ..but right now its Addy and Ty story
Tyler and Addy hmm we meet them on the 1st book of the series and we can immediately create teams.. I was team Addison ..And i wanted to kick Ty's ass to a curb so fast he would get a whiplash..BUUUt i change my mind .. This entire book I was Team Ty!! no questions asked i wanted to go into a Chick-fight with Addy she was a stubborn son of gun!!!yes i have tendencies to fight with book characters sue me!!
Addison is a feisty firecracker like wow... Brielle is scary but Momma older sista is just as crazy!! Tyler is a sweetheart that make the WORST decisions ever..like are you for real..?!! geez.. i felt sorry for him.. and i was waving my flag at the end of the run ..screaming like crazy -GO TY DONT GIVE UP GET THE GIRLS.. yes GIRLS they are 3!!
I love the MULTIPLE POvs like LOOOOVe ..very well paced.. we get the past-present-future.. and love that we can see the whole crew together and supporting each other in this tough part of Life-Yes!! adulthood and having babies and prioritizing things.. even though its NOT as important like in the 1st book of the P Siblings series we do get Music .. yay !!
So theres something Ty said in the book that stayed with me.. and its something like this..- I have hurt her..left her..lied to her and anything else thats a cardinal sin in a relationship..BUT HE NEVER cheated .. so .. in that moment i wanted to pick my phone call Leigh and scream at her GIVE HIM SOME SLAcK.. yes he told her to fix IT-the babies and all .. but come on he did call!! brownie points for him..and when the truth came out he dropped everything and came to her ..like SUPER DUPER brownie points!!
I was mad like really mad that Ty took all the blame and NO ONE went to Addy face and gave her a few shakes..she told there werent any babies to worry about..semantics my Arse!! she made him beg..crawl..and FINALLY gave him a hand.. it was a hard journey BUT we get our HEA .. YAY for us.. for them .. ugh FOR EVERYONE ..
LEIGH-ANN can write a book .. i dont know how to explain it but she makes you feel every emotion.. every twitch ..every itch.. it well paced ..its hook-line-sinker type of book .. its LAUGH OUT LOUD and get weird looks from people type of book.. its i wish i could get in the story and shake some sense to this people ...
there were some scenes that ..ughhh!!
the whole shots scene was out of real life i have personally witness Grown up dads cry because their babies are getting vitamins.. AND i was laughing and wiping tears ..
TYLER talking to the girls about his feelings... the whole picnic date.. the new tradition.. Lil'bit together or co-parenting -sigh-
i forgot I LOVE THE NAME LITTLE BIT so freaking much.. maybe its because im short ..but oh well it Rocks!!
Tyler's past and Parents..ugh.. its messed up.. thats It .. i feltso sorry for him.. And proud that he got to shine over it all Addison .. its a fine example of a Strong woman .. she kept the twins.. gave them a family.. a Fake dad-hated him bleeeh to MIch!tried to procted the babies from a possible heart break-thank the Lords for not letting that happen-!LOL..but its awesome that LOVE could/can be the most important thing in a relationship but TRUST is right in that corner..
we get new people -okay not THAT new..- Brent its here.. and i get chills .. Dustin is acting like a full time teenager mixed with a whining baby.. Cambree is all woman now.. making decisions.. Going to college(worried sick about her) .. Mich the Hot undercover Cop/ex-fake-baby-dady ..hmm he is still kind of to find out more..Kayleigh what a sweetheart love her so much..and she just pops at the very end.. WE HAVE MAX .. can i say that im super curious about him?? YES I'M!!
excited about the next book..
Leigh-Ann Lunsford KEEP WRITING!! DON'T STOP!! LOVE YA!!
so I did this on my 1st review and i am going to make it a tradition.. My song to describe this book.. Hurt by Christina Aguilera.. And Dont You worry child by Swedish House Mafia
Not Leaving is the Second book of Leigh Ann Lunsford’s Parker Siblings Series and immediately I have to say wow freaking wow! This story has so many twists and turns that you have to look around every corner. The characters are intriguing, emotional, strong, and so incredibly complex that I couldn’t even believe that an author could write like this. Leigh Ann Lunsford is truly a gifted author who brought the words, characters, and stories to life right in front of my eyes.
While the story has many layers and aspects to it involving many characters, the main focus is Tyler and Addison. Now that Tyler has found out that Addison gave birth to twins and he is the father he has no idea which way is up. He is hurt and furious, but also realizes that he did this to himself by yet again walking out on Addy. How could he have done that to her again? It is a history that seems to repeat since their years in college. “What did I just do? I just broke up with Addison Parker, and for the life of me I can’t figure out why. She has been the air I breathe and the love in my heart for four years.”
Addison has continued to take Tyler back time and again. First after he broke up with her in college, then when he lied to her about their time apart. Now he has the nerve to come waltzing in angry and demanding answers? Tyler is pissed that Addison has Mitch the guy from Daytona living with her and his daughters and makes sure that she knows it. “I don’t give a f*ck if Mitch moved from outer space. Those are not his girls, and I am not going anywhere.”
Addison feels so betrayed, angry, and hurt. Most of all she feels extremely protective of her girls and refuses to let them ever endure the pain of Tyler walking out. “I am a grown woman and can barely handle the damn rollercoaster he takes me on. I will be damned if I allow him to do that to my girls. They are innocent, and I won’t allow it.” Tyler says he is home for good and not leaving ever again, but Addison knows she can’t trust that. Tyler must take his own journey to find out why he always runs away and seeks answers from his lousy parents. “My parents are not good for anything but my college tuition, and they threw money at me as a way for me to disappear. They are miserable together and miserable in general. They aren’t evil but got married for all the wrong reasons…money and social status.” What he comes to terms with is heartbreaking, but he finally knows for sure he doesn’t ever want to run again. He knows that he needs to spend every day trying to prove that to Addison and vows to do so. “I don’t know if she has it in her to forgive me one more time, and I don’t know if I have the right to ask that of her.”
In the midst of trying to repair their relationship they are trying to maneuver the changes in Addison’s siblings Cambree and Dustin. They have both grown so much and seem to be growing apart. Cambree knows a secret that no one knows she knows and Dustin is acting out because he doesn’t understand why he can’t have a relationship with his parents. When an old secret shows up on Brielle’s doorstep shaking her to the core, Dustin takes matters into his own hands to try to save his family finally realizing what was sacrificed for him to have a normal life. There is also the situation of Mitch, the secrets he holds, and his true identity.
This story made me literally laugh out loud, spit my drink out all over my husband several times, cry, raise my fist in the air, scream “you idiot”, and made my heart break. The author does an incredible job of portraying how your past can shape you but doesn’t have to define you. She writes with such care, compassion, love, and intrigue. You wonder if it is possible to be so let down, betrayed, and abandoned by someone and still find your way back to each other. We watch as two lovesick kids, have to come to terms with the knowledge that neither of them are perfect and that sweeping things under the rug doesn’t do anyone any good. That eventually they have to be the adults they are in the present, put in time, effort, and communicate only to wonder if it is too late now.
My Review Well, let me just start by saying that Leigh Ann Lunsford has done it again! (Which I knew she would) First things first: Nicholas Sparks, Move Over, there's a new girl in town! I've said it before with her first book Not Enough, the personality she gives her characters is like no other book I've read. While reading this book I felt like I was a Parker Sibling myself. You get to know them so much more and you really feel what they feel. This book is about Addison and Tyler and let me tell you, O.M.G! She can be just as feisty as Brielle when she wants to be. I have loved Tyler since book 1, Not Enough, when I got a few chances to get to know him. I was so excited to find out that this book was coming out. I really connected with all the characters. I know I say that a lot but until you've picked up this book and started reading, you won't understand. Leigh Ann has a talent when it comes to writing and her characters. The personality they have is amazing. I loved LOVED loved the P.O.V she gives her characters. Being able to know what they are thinking and feeling and going through in life is awesome.
Addison and Tyler have been together for YEARS!!! They are perfect for each other. You can imagine the shock I was in to find out they had broken up and he'd just up and left! I mean really Tyler? The book is set in the very near future and skips dates a bit but I love that about it because I can find out all the information I need and I'm not left hanging, wondering when the hell that happened, like some books do when they attempt that. If you haven't read the books then SPOILER ALERT Ahead!!!
Tyler quickly finds out that Addison has twin baby girls. He got a text from someone (Who will not be named) that the kids are his and he's the biological father. But what about what Addison had told him? Could it really be? Okay,he's got to find this out for himself so he quickly loads up and heads back to his hometown. When he confronts Addison she lets him have it for everything he is worth. I mean backed-in-a-corner-let-him-have-it! Addison is with a new man now, and claiming he's the father of the twins. HIS twins. So what happens when you have Tyler on one hand, who loves Addison so much he'd lasso the moon just to prove it to her? And Addison on the other hand, who loves Tyler with all her being but hates to even look at him? Throw in some Brielle/Colby marital arguments (we love her sassy attitude)! Add a hormonal teenager who doesn't know where he belongs or why he doesn't fit in and a creepy very dangerous person from their past and that my friend is one hell of a story! You thought I was going to give you the juicy details and all the epic scenes? Ha! That's cute. Nope! You need to go #1Click this book right away! But definitely start with Not Enough first! That in itself is an amazing book! And I would feel truly at fault if you missed out on Brielle's sassy-tude and Colby's Hot-ness! You can thank me later! And then after you read them, be sure to go add Leigh Ann Lunsford as a friend on facebook and thank her for this amazing story!
Like I said, I've never read anything so well written. I felt every single emotion possible while reading this book as well as Not Enough. I even read some scenes to my husband, he loved them. I give this book a 10 Star Rating on a 5 Star Scale! This is a MUST READ! If you haven't already stopped reading this review and went to purchase it, Go... Now! Those Parker Siblings will be the death of us all!
WOW this may be Addison and Tyler's book but there is something much larger than them going on behind the scenes and how it is going to play out has me tied up in knots !!
We get a pretty solid glimpse of Addison and Tyler's relationship in NE. They seem to be strong , full of love and in it for the long haul. They had their little break up in college but for the most part they have been together and in love for 6+ years , braving some of lives biggest heartaches together. Despite their flaws they have always been their for one another and Addison cannot imagine getting through her heartache and struggles without him. Of course by the end of NE we see they are anything but solid. Tyler has a habit of running and he has a secret now. His actions and resistance to starting a family causes him to make the worst choice in his life. Addison is determined to finally get on without him , she cannot forgive him for leaving this time. But of course Tyler has other ideas in mind. Once Cambree sent that text to Tyler, Addison's little pretend life blows up in her face.
For almost a year Tyler has been gone from Addison's life. She was forced to face a huge decision and life changing event on her own. Her best friend Mitch steps up to help and it may seem they are making a life together but that may not be the case. Now with Tyler back in the picture thanks to Cambree , Addison has to decide if she can forgive him yet again and move on or if it is too late for them. There are 2 major reasons for Tyler to stay around regardless of what Addison wants. Once Tyler proves to her that he is going to be there for their family the walls begin to crumble. Tyler may have made mistakes but he is a good guy and he owns up to his mistakes. He works his A$$ off proving his love and damn if it doesn't warm your heart !! They are super hot together and their journey back to each other is full of emotion and connection. Very easy to relate to for anyone who has had these struggles in love.
Dustin is having a hard time in this story and it is really doing a number on Brielle and the rest of the family. He is growing up , coming into his own , exploring girls and emotions. He tests his limits and relationships all the while breaking down the family and causing drama and heartache. Brielle's past comes back to haunt her and with the issue made known to them all it is haunting everyone. Dustin chooses to step up and take matters into his own hands without the families knowledge of why. This causes a major heartache and it seems they may not recover. Cambree is in danger , not everyone is who they seem and the twists and turns are phenomenal !! The whole story takes a turn towards the more serious and darker events. Although there is more drama and heartache you still get the fun loving bond of family , friends and of course HOT SEX !!!!!!!! The lead in for book 3 is phenomenal and I cannot wait to tear into it !!
After falling for the Parker crew in Not Enough, I knew I had to jump right into this book. WOW, I don't even know where to start.
This book tells the story of Addy and Tyler. It picks up right where Not Enough left off; with Tyler showing up at the birthday party and meeting his twins for the first time. Those two have put each other through hell and at this point Addy doesn't know if it is worth it. Even though she knows that Tyler is it for her. In her eyes, there has been too much heartache, hurt and Tyler has walked away one too many times. The most recent when he was pregnant with the twins. She isn't just looking out for her now, she has to take care of her girls first and foremost.
When Tyler sees his girls after almost a year, he is awestruck. I could perfectly see the look on his face as he took in the scene around him. I loved his grit and determination in this book. And Brielle teaming up with him because she knew how miserable Addy was without him made things even more interesting. I was so nervous reading the chapter where they hash everything out. I knew emotions were going to be high for both of them. There was so much hurt and pain and joy conveyed in this part that I needed to pause for a few minutes before I could move on.
The major issues between Addy and Tyler were resolved a little more than halfway through the book. That being said, what followed I can only describe as mayhem. Sleazy Brent makes another appearance. This stirs up all kinds of trouble for the family who was finally starting to move forward with their lives. I'm sure it sets up the next book perfectly. The whole gang, and a few new members make multiple appearances and this only adds to the wonderfulness of the story. I absolutely love how interwoven all of the characters are into each other. There are pieces of Addy in Brielle, Cambree and Dustin and so on and so forth.
Now onto the next book! I can't wait to see what journey Leigh Ann Lunsford is going to take Cambree on. Her character is the one that I have been most intrigued by in this entire series.
I smile up at my gorgeous husband. “For that, Mr. James, you get a reward,” I seductively tell him. “Oh, Mrs. James, in that case, I have been a very good boy. Why don’t you come over here and sit down, and we will talk about the first thing that comes up.”
I feel like I am the poster child for depression commercials. Each symptom they list could check off in bright red ink.
I am walking down the aisle with you to our forever. You will never have to take a step in life without me by your side.
We haven’t had the easiest path, and we didn’t always choose the correct fork in the road, but through it all, we always made our way back to each other. That is what matters, today and always. You are one of the strongest men I know, and while we aren’t perfect, we are perfect for each other. You give hope when I feel hopeless, peace when it is chaotic, but mostly, you always give me your love.
My Review:
I am falling into a swoon and hardened addiction with Leigh Ann Lundsford’s writing. It just gets better and better. This the second book of hers in two days as I couldn’t wait to dive in for more. This book was a non-stop flurry of activity – fun, chaotic, sexy, and dramatic. If these people were real, they would undoubtedly have to live on sugar, caffeine, and amphetamines, as their homes are like bee-hives and their sassy mouths are always popping off with humorous and witty sass, even when fighting with each other. This volume contained considerable turmoil among and between the characters, as well as the underpinnings of suspense that will undoubtedly explode in later installments. I would be violently angry about the dramatic cliffhanger if I didn’t already have the next book just waiting to be devoured. I feel yet another book hangover coming…
This book is a continuation to one of my favorite book called Not Enough. This time it tells the story about Brielle's older sister Addison and her childhood sweet heart Tyler. This story explains the past and present between the two lovers, the good times and bad times. Both have a bad experience with parents who never loved them enough, so they relied on each other and their siblings. Addison trusted Tyler with her life and her heart. Tyler has also broken her heart a few times...but somehow they always found their way back into each others arms, which was an easy thing for them since they have been in love with each other so young. One day Addison gave Tyler a surprising news, she told Tyler that she was pregnant with their child. Instead of being happy, Tyler demanded for her to fix it and left. Addison broke down and never trusted anyone with her heart again. Until 10 months later Tyler came back after he found out that him and Addison have twin girls, relieved he came back to town and decided to fix his past mistake and win Addison all over again and have his family back. To do everything in his power to make Addison see that this time HE IS NOT LEAVING.
Even though Tyler is not as lovable as Colby from the first book, he has his moments and after reading this book you will understand why he is what he is. Another thing I love about this series is that, every family member have their own POV not just the main focus character of the book. Also the end of the book opens the door for the 3rd book of the series, which I cannot wait to read it. This book has become one of my favorite series, I love it.
Awesome job Leigh Ann! You always suck me into your books and I can't wait for the next one. =)
