I started writing this decades ago before I had ever begun doing any digital illustrations. Provoking readers is a very different process compared to provoking viewers with visual works. I chose the science fiction genre deliberately so that my novel would turn out to be emotionally challenging and not at all “safe” in the intellectual or visceral sense.

"Baja Clavius: Moon Men Deep Inside" is controversial science fiction storytelling unlike what you have encountered elsewhere. A couple of hundred years in the future, muscular and masculine gay male time-travel agents work for a top-secret agency codenamed MMDI situated in a deep underground base beneath the lunar crater Clavius. If compared to today's behavioral norms, these young men appear to be devious and deceitful. They work on missions to the past that force changes upon Earth history. Their actions may be immoral and sometimes violent, but the ambitious purpose of MMDI is to repair timelines from yesterday to prevent human civilization from descending into chaos and self-destruction tomorrow.

My storytelling is faithful to the bara underground art genre because I depict gay male same-sex feelings and sexual identity with masculine, muscular males that is sometimes violent and exploitative. My target audience is gay males, but I suspect that straight females will enjoy it because straight females are known to enjoy the bara genre.

Legacy: This builds and expands upon characters and adventures presented in my trio of sci-fi novellas, Dare Not Ask The Dead (2010), Lost Cowboy Moon Time (2012), and Baja Clavius (2012) that all had to be removed from online publishing due to censorship I encountered at Smashwords.com which I will never again use at all.
